This is a solid spot for Poke. My mother had the salmon poke taco, which I tried and was kind of impressed how good it was. I had a poke bowl, which was also solid. The raw fish they used was fresh, which is more than I can say for a lot of places. I was also impressed by the portions, especially for my regular sized poke bowl. It was reasonably generous. The other ingredients in my bowl were just as they should be. The brown rice, however, was kind of dry, as if they either undercooked it a bit or it had been left out and dried a bit (and no, this was not the normal texture of brown rice). We were craving fries at the time, so we ordered some. We're pretty sure the fries were frozen packaged fries and not homemade, but maybe we shouldn't be ordering french fries at a poke restaurant. The staff was very kind when we picked up. Be aware that this particular location has two different websites, which is a tad confusing. They recommended that we use the ifishpokehawaiianbbqca.com url. We will definitely be back.

I'm definitely a huge fan of the Poke bowls as they provide a unique assortment of customizable toppings that can cater to many. I almost see these as deconstructed sushi rolls but in a bowl form and far more choices. This takes me to "I Fish Poke & Hawaiian BBQ". Located in the Renaissance Creek Shopping Center off of Douglas Blvd. and just west of Sierra College Blvd. in the Roseville/Granite Bay area, this place has been opened for business since late-2023.To those that might remember, they took over where "Ahi Poke" once stood as challenging as it is to get new owners with a different concept, they executed everything beautifully. And to those that live north of here in Butte County, they also have another location in Chico, CA. Location wise, the Roseville location neighbors "Curry Pizza House" and "Serenity Spa" among other food/retail business. Since the food was so delicious (which I will get to later), I came here not once, but twice; Fri 5/10/2024 and Sat 5/11/2024. As far as the interior layout of this place, they offer ample room for dining in. And on the more comfortable days, they offer roughly 4 separate outdoor tables for dining outdoors. They have a menu displaying the options in regards to their Poke bowls; Size (2, 3, or 4 scoops), Base (rice, salad, etc.), Protein (shrimp, salmon, ahi tuna, etc.), Sauces (Poke, citrus Ponzo, spicy mayo, etc.), and Toppings (crab salad, carrots, cucumber, edamame, etc.). They also have a menu that offers Hawaiian BBQ, ice creams, tea drinks, and much more. Since I am no stranger to Poke bowls, I knew exactly what I wanted. My bowl consisted of 1/2 mixed greens, 1/2 sushi rice complete with 3 protein bases; ahi tuna, salmon, and shrimp, Poke sauce, and a nice assortment of toppings to complete my bowl. Total price was around $17.50 but if you check-in using the Yelp app, they give you a $3 discount (for spending over $15). Since nothing was cooked, my bowl was handed to me in a sturdy plastic bowl & lid in case I wanted it to go.As far as the overall taste, freshness, and texture of my bowl, I was blown away with how delicious this was. They also gave me very generous amounts of protein while all of the other toppings really pulled this whole thing together well. I also thanked one of the staff members (who I believe was the owner) of how great everything came out. They do have very generous business hours as they're open Monday-Saturday from 11am-9pm and Sunday from 12-8:30pm. When you factor in the cleanliness, freshness of their food, ambiance, atmosphere, and above average customer service, I am giving "I Fish Poke & Hawaiian BBQ" a unanimous five-star rating.

You walk in to the cleanest and best managed poke place I've ever seen. The ordering system is much like chipotle so you can see everything you want to add.

Good sized bowls but the size of fish can vary. My sons had the same scoops but much less fish.

I love this place! I think this restaurant recently changed owners because it used to be called ahipoki. But I'm glad it did! This place is close and convenient so I used to go to ahipoki often and honestly it was not the best. I would usually only go if I didnt have the energy to go somewhere else. The difference between then and now is night and day. The quality of the ingredients, the meats and even the sauces are amazing now but the price stayed the same! I also see the owner working almost every time I go in. He's always super helpful and really nice. Whatever he's doing is great because this now my favorite poke spot!

I can't wait to come back! I went here because a friend was craving poke. I have a weird thing with texture so if I'm eating poke, it needs to be with nachos (something crispy). I was going to originally order a teriyaki or short rib plate but then I saw they had wontons that they could use for the poke bowls. I was SO HAPPY! I got the wontons with two scoops of poke (which was plenty tbh, I ended up giving some to my friend when it became too much) and I added all the toppings I wanted. It was DELICIOUS! I want to get it again and I want to try their meat plates as well. The service was nice, everyone was friendly and the place was clean. The seating was relaxed. We also got some macaroon ice cream sammiches at the end to end our post workout meal on a sweet note!

I normally go in person but with being sick I needed to DoorDash. Wow. They did not disappoint. I ordered lots of things in my Poke Bowl (3 Scoops) and so they put the chips on the side since I ordered half and half. Anytime I go in person the owner is so kind, the fish is delicious, the pricing is one of a kind. Will never go anywhere else, thank you again.

After moving to the Roseville area from Hawaii, I can confidently say this is pretty much as good as it gets! Fish is fresh with excellent, tender texture and a nice variety of options (plain or shoyu, limu etc). I had salmon and tuna and both were excellent. $15 for 2 scoops may not be the cheapest around but there are lots of toppings included at no additional charge and I felt they were generous with portions. My husband had the teriyaki chicken bowl because he doesn't trust the poke around here and that was excellent too, cooked fresh to order. After trying a bite of my tuna he immediately said we'd have to come back so he could have poke. Added bonus: they have Hawaiian BBQ including chicken katsu so we can bring the kids too and they will be just as happy! 6/5 stars
