I was so stoked when I saw this place moving in and opening. The first time I went in I was blown away. Crisp, cool, and chill all the way. The green sign will draw you in but the beers on tap and in single cans will make you stay. Plenty of parking and good conversation at the bar if you'd like to to talk or tables if you don't. Definitely a guilty pleasure to visit when I'm feeling in a beer mood. I recommend to all!

Humle Beer House, Citrus Heights, CA - September 15, 2024I've been coming here with my brother lately. He lives less than a mile away from Humle and it's a good place for us to enjoy a beer or two. They have lots of great selections of beer on tap as well as canned beers from the refrigerator. The service is always great. There is a nice bar area as well as numerous tables. They open at 2 pm Monday through Friday, and at noon on Saturday and Sunday. They're open until 11 pm on Friday and Saturday. They have a few TVs so you can watch sports.

Met up with family and friends for this first time visit to Humle Beer House. I'm not a beer drinker, unlike others in my group, so it was nice that they had a cider on tap (Stoned Fruit Nectarine from Two Rivers Cider Company). And a very good cider it was; not too sweet, light and fruity. They have 20+ beers on tap, so there was something for everyone. They post their current tap menu, so you can check beforehand to see if they have your favorite.Service was friendly and welcoming. This is a very comfortable spot to hang out.

The owners Owen and Brandon have outstanding knowledge of all beers. Sports on and they have great cans and bottles of beer you will never find anywhere else north of San Diego as well as beers from southern CA. Come here now for a change in the typical tap list. Enjoy!

Wandered in here on a lark, no not the scooter, the random encounter kind of lark. Now keep reading. So as I was saying, I wandered in here on a lark one afternoon. Room was pretty big, they have tables outside as well, but come on its March in Sacto so i sat INSIDE. Quite a few taps, and really great staff. Beertender room the time to explain a few of the beers to me before I made my selection, and then I struck up a conversation with some regulars. All in all a great experience. I'll be back.

Super stoked to have a new Tap House in Citrus Heights! It's in a great location and conveniently located. The staff is super friendly and helpful. And there's a great selection of craft beer with a little bit of everything: some light beers, some IPAs, some sours, some ciders, some dark beers. I think there's something for everyone. They do a great job of having some local beers and some craft beers from out of town. I think the inside is a blank slate with an opportunity to add cool beer art and maybe some TVs. There's also a small outdoor area. FOOD: They have some chips and salsa for sale but they also allow outside food. Plus, there's lots of options around to grab something quick. BEERS TO-GO: None at our last visit but coming soon. PARKING: Parking lot is sufficient currently but if this place gets hoppin', you may have some trouble finding a spot but no need to worry at the moment. Definitely come and check this place out and show them some love. We want to keep this place around and watch this place grow.

Great spot to sit and enjoy good, fresh, cold beer. Over 20 options, you'll find something you like from pilsner to hazy IPA to sours and stouts as well as cider and seltzer. Although now that I think of it, I don't think I saw any amber ales. Two sizes of pours to choose from.Nice wooden bar counter. Three giant TV screens. One in middle rotates between the two halves of the menu. Plenty of spaced out tables for groups of friends. Outdoor patio should be fantastic in a couple of months. Two giant individual, clean restrooms. Forgot to ask them to install coat/purse hook in there but there are some purse hooks under the bar counter. The owners were nice to talk with about their new business, local grapevine knowledge, and the skateboard decks on the wall. They're young men, they did not grow up trading Garbage Pail Kid cards (one of the decks is of the Garbage Pail Kids cuz apparently it's coming popular again - lol), but that's ok. They are now trading cash for good beer + a good time. Stop in! And bring your favorite eats, outside food welcome. You might even leave having made a new friend. This is the kind of place where you may find a kindred spirit!

When I read an article in the Citrus Heights Messenger way back in May 2023 that there would be an independent beer house only a mile away from my home, I was absolutely ecstatic. Truth be told is that this is exactly what Citrus Heights needs as there is not a single brewery or beer hall anywhere in this city of 87,000 people. Located in the Sylvan Marketplace plaza, "Humle Beer House" is situated at 7086 Auburn Blvd, Ste 100. To those that might have remembered, this is where a frozen yogurt shop once stood. It is in the same plaza as "Haya Sushi", "Starbucks", and other various businesses.Jump forward to late-2023 and this place finally opened its doors to the public. I had the opportunity to check this place out during the evening of Saturday 1/6/2024 at around 8:45pm after enjoying dinner and on my way home. What I particularly like about this place is that it is super quiet at night and upon entering, it has that very relaxed vibe to it. You will notice an abundance of indoor seating, several TV's for viewing, and a progressive menu serving only beer, hard cider, and seltzer. The exterior does have ample space (and eventually seating will be set up in the coming months), this will be a great place to enjoy your drink under the stars.Keep in mind that this is not a brewery but more of a taproom with an ever-changing lineup of some eclectic and rare beers from all over the world. Since this was my first time, I went with two entirely different beers, a 5 oz. pour of their "Mexican Hot Chocolate Abraxas" 10.5% ABV (St. Louis, MO) and a 5 oz. pour of their "Blood Orange Wheat Hefeweizen" 5.5% ABV (San Luis Obispo, CA). Both were extremely delicious, succulent, at an acquired chilled temperature. Both sizes come in a goblet-styled glass either in a 5 oz. (smaller size) or a 10 oz./13 oz./16 oz. (larger size). Out of the total choices, there were about 22 different offerings on the menu. This included IPA's, lagers, fruity options, ciders, and a couple different hard seltzers. I think this type of diverse menu can cater to just about everyone. Since they do not serve food, another great option is that they do allow you to bring outside food to enjoy at one of the large tables. This is perfect since there's a sushi place a few doors down. If "Chando's Tacos" survived, this would've been another option for those that enjoy their food. All in all, "Humle Beer House" is an excellent establishment that I highly recommend. I had the honor of meeting both of the owners, Brandon and Owen and told them I definitely would be a regular customer here. They do have very generous hours of operation being open Mon-Thu from 2-9pm, Fri from 2-10pm, Sat from 11am-10pm, and Sun from 11am-7pm. With that said and done, I am giving this new place a unanimous five-star rating.

Remember, this is a true beer house where the beer is the star of the show. Don't come in here looking for Flintstone 805 (don't want to get into a defamation lawsuit :)When you arrive you hear people discussing beer, changes in the beer scene, and hard to get cult offerings that are club member only... And they have it on draught! The interior has a couple of TVs and perfect for breaking the ice with a stranger. The A's were beating the Yankees and that is always a hot topic. The person working the bar was extremely knowledgeable (didn't get his name) and sincere when it came to his selection of beer. Their selection was just about the most eclectic selection I've seen in a long time and they serve 5 oz pours which allows you to sample across the board. I will be bringing some friends next time because they will appreciate the time taken to curate these fine selections. By the way, Private Press was a Stout offering that is club only and not open to new members so at 17% abv be sure to give it a try!
