I was visiting a friend in Sac and they brought me over to this place. They said it was really good so I gave it a shot and was pleasantly pleased! They have many tables and the place is pretty big. The decor is very pretty and it really gives the whole place a comforting vibe!California Benedict(4/5): I thought the dish was delicious. The fried tomato was crispy on the outside, but soft and juicy on the inside! I think the only issue would be the balsamic because it was overpowering for me. Other than that it was still good.Mardi Beignets(4/5): It was good but just overly sweet. The beignets were pretty fluffy and I think the only sauce that wasn't too sweet would be the custard in the middle.Peppermint Mocha(5/5): I love the whipped cream and the crushed peppermint they placed on top. The drink itself had the perfect amount of sweetness!Service(5/5): Our server was super friendly and very helpful!Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come again if I was in the area!

Huckleberry's is okay--not a place I love, but I don't hate it either. We went on a weekday for lunch, and even at 10:30, they were busy. Luckily, since there were only two of us, we were seated quickly. Service was efficient; our drink order was taken within five minutes. I tried the Huckleberry Sweet Tea, and while I love sweet tea, this one was way too sweet for me--borderline sugar overload, especially with the sugared rim. It was good, just overwhelmingly sweet, so I only drank about a quarter of it.For food, I got the chicken tenders and fries. Presentation-wise, it looked great and arrived hot, which I appreciated. However, the tenders weren't crispy, which was disappointing since I prefer a good crunch. Overall, Huckleberry's reminds me of Mel's Diner--decent but nothing exceptional for me.

This place is pretty good if you're looking for a comfort meal. Portions are massive. Their coffees are fun and fancy. Servers were attentive and the staff worked well to make sure we always had drinks filled and everything we needed. The location in the bay opened not too long ago and my sister and her family went and said they had a great meal and experience!

This location is good with regard to location, staff and inviting dining area. The food is your average breakfast style food. I ordered their create your own 2 eggs with sausage and ham. It looks like they forgot my ham and hash brown looked more uncooked even when I asked for extra crispy. This was my 1st time so I will def give it another try later in and see if there are any improvements on quality of food.

We had a great time visiting Huckleberry's in Natomas. I had not been into one of these places and I was way off on how I expected it to be inside. It's decorated to the gills with southern items and murals and it's Huckleberry Finn. So fun looking at all the decorations - so intricate! We were able to be seated right away and ordered drinks - I had the peach tea, it was huge and not too sweet but really just right! We got the fried green tomatoes to share, cali Benedict, and chicken and waffles. Everything was fulfilling and hit the spot!

Came with a friend for brunch. Super busy! Very popular place and I agree that it should ztay popular! The food is really really good and beignets are soooo goooddd! I got freanch toast and my friend got pancakes! We loved both our plates and the hot chocolate is soooo good. Its rowdy and loud and busy but it doesn't take away from the food. There is a lot of seating so i wouldn't worry about too oong a wait. I will definitely be coming back for more!

This place was great! We went on a Saturday morning with a party of 13 and they were amazing! They offered the patio and got it ready quickly. Our server was amazing with the kids and got us all drinks quickly. Our food came out shortly afterwards and it was delicious! I got the pumpkin spice latte and yum!!! I also got the Cajun eggs Benedict and I ate every bite! I will definitely go back!

Well, I was hoping to get some real southern comfort food, but was sadly disappointed with most of my order. I had the New Orleans omelet which was very under-seasoned, even with the country reds and Creole sauce. As a native Nee Orleanian, I didn't understand the flavors at all. The biscuit was very good though, nice and fluffy! I like the idea of the potatoes with the peppers and onions, however, salt and pepper lacked. I added hot sauce to most of my plate just get some heat and flavor. I will return to try the Mardi Gras Beignets but this meal was a flop. The service was pleasant and consistent. The ambiance was comfortable but the restaurant is a little dark for my taste. Overall what's missing is flavor. New Orleans and southern cuisine as a whole is robust with a lot of powerful herbs and spices which cannot be substituted with salt, pepper and hot sauce.

The wait time to be seated on a Saturday is LOOOONG! The wait time for food to arrive on your table is equally as long. Hours have past and your food comes out cold. Also the portions are horrendously small. I finished my meal in less than five minutes. Maybe it was intended for children but at an adult price. Also they ran of fried tomatoes! Not sure how that even happens. Run to the store and buy some!
