I frequently drive by Huckleberry's but have never visited. Mainly because I think breakfast foods are something that can easily be made at home for a fraction of the cost. However, my husband and I had a rare opportunity to go out to eat mid-day during the week and decided to pop into Huckleberry's for a late breakfast. There is ample parking so no worries! I know the Roseville location is a parking nightmare. We were instantly greeted as we came in and were told they were glad we were there. We were seated right away and quickly met with a smile from our server. From start to end we had a pleasant experience with the wait staff. I also feel this may be a family owned establishment and let me tell you... the ambiance is there and much noticed and appreciated. The portion sizes were huge and soooo very tasty. Naturally, I took home more than half of my food. As I write this, I haven't tried the blueberry muffin but I can tell from his texture that it is nice and fluffy.Price is on point and typical of all establishments. The chili sauce at the table is very flavorful and added experience. Would definitely like to come try lunch next time! Thank you Huckleberry's!

Huckleberries - Antelope, CA (3/5 Stars)We were intrigued by Huckleberries and excited to try their Southern-inspired menu. With dishes like fried green tomatoes, beignets, French Quarter French toast, and fried okra, it's a rare find in this area. The menu itself is creative and deserves 5/5 stars for its variety and nod to New Orleans cuisine.Food:I ordered the California Benedict, which included a fried green tomato and balsamic glaze. One poached egg was perfectly runny, but the other was overcooked, which detracted from the dish. However, the balsamic glaze was fantastic and tied the flavors together beautifully. I'd rate the Benedict 4/5 stars. My wife had the crab Benedict and really enjoyed it--it was flavorful and well-executed, earning another 4/5 stars.Unfortunately, the country potatoes that came with both dishes were a major letdown. They were completely unseasoned, and the green peppers and onions were undercooked, making the side nearly inedible. We'd give the potatoes 1/5 stars for effort but hope they'll improve them in the future. The fried green tomatoes were tasty, especially paired with the spicy ranch, but the portion size was disappointing. For the price, we expected larger slices rather than the small ones served. Still, the flavor earns them 4/5 stars. The coffee was excellent, which helped round out the meal a bit.Service:The service was outstanding. Multiple staff members checked on us throughout our meal, ensuring we had everything we needed, and our check came promptly. The attentiveness and friendliness of the team were much appreciated and easily earn 5/5 stars.Parking:Ample parking made the visit hassle-free. Another 5/5 stars here.Overall Thoughts:While the menu and service were fantastic, the inconsistency in food preparation and the disappointing sides bring the overall experience down to 3/5 stars. My wife loved her crab Benedict, and I enjoyed parts of my meal, but the lack of seasoning and execution on the potatoes really stood out. While there's potential here, I'm not sure I'd go back unless improvements are made.

Service was pretty quick and the breakfast was good. I saw so many great dishes also, at our neighboring tables, this is one of those places you just know additional visits are necessary to check out other menu favorites. My French toast had a great flavor, delicious. The stack of chicken and waffles was our table superstar. I recommend leaving the grits alone, they were watery and lumpy. Maybe they had a bad day with the grits pot, but if they serve em' up like this everyday then grits should definitely be removed from the menu. Other than that, we will be back to check out Huckleberry's again!

After multiple good meals here, I thought I should update my review, as this spot continues to earn kudos for giving me a great brunch experience.Every time I come here, I have a nice time. All the food items have been tasty, the restaurant is very clean, seating area is spacious & open, ordering & food brought to table happen relatively quickly, and the entire staff is always so welcoming, attentive, helpful, and friendly!

The staff is amazing & their food is great. Hubby & I weren't to happy that both sausage & bacon were pretty soft but it didn't stop us from enjoying the meal. Super quick service.

The best staff and service you can find. The decor is Huckleberry Finn style. Cute and bayou vibe.Indoor dining only. The food is always delicious and portioned well. I like to get the unlimited soup, salad and bread. They have a delicious chicken gumbo. Strongly recommend giving it a try.Only complaint is that the menu is rather limited and they are only open for breakfast and lunch.

You guys haven't lived if you haven't had huckleberrys. The chicken and waffles is my go to and here's why: it gives you a mix between spicy, sweet and savory. The ambiance and overall vibe of the place is very warm and welcoming, the servers are super sweet and patient and the food is phenomenal and is always bursting with flavors. The prices are decent compared to the food. Usually I'm more of a fancy restaurant person but this has got to be my favorite. Would 10000/10 recommend.
