Howe bout Arden shopping center is like a little mini mall right down the road from a mall that is otherwise going under. They have some relatively new things happening over here from comedy clubs, a school, , movie theater, places to dine and dessert- you really cannot go wrong... eat shop and dessert- not necessarily in that order. Down the street a ways from my house- I usually go here for shopping and there is a ton of parking :)

HBA - Howe 'Bout Arden Shopping Center is a well-known shopping center in the Arden-Arcade area. Especially after the new section opened a few years ago with many more stores moved into the mall. The shopping center is not far from Arden Fair Mall, the biggest shipping mall in Sacramento County. HBA is perfect if you try to avoid the holidays and weekend traffic or simple if you can't find what you are looking for at Arden Fair Mall. I usually check out HBA before Arden Fair! I found more stores and restaurants I like here. HBA is the home of Nordstrom Rack, Michaels, Home Goods, The Container Store, Burlington, and Century Theatres. It also has many choices for an excellent meal with California Fish Grill, Bon Chon, Kura Sushi Bar, MOD Pizza, Pete's Restaurant & Brewhouse, Pho Saigon, etc. More than I can remember! I'm sure you'll have a good time shopping or eating there.

This is a really sweet little shopping center by the large mall and I must declare there are a lot of good things you can buy here. I am from the Bay Area but came here twice. There's a lot of stores that you do not see in the San Francisco Bay area. I remember coming to this really cool store where I bought some seashell lights for an office I had. I probably think it was the Michael's store. If you need to find more items to buy Howe Bout Arden is your place to go. For food I really like the Bon Chon's chicken. My time here was 1 of 3 times I have eaten at Bon Chon's. It costs less than how much I would eat it in the Bay Area. If you come here during the morning hours when the stores first open you can hear nothing but classical piano music. There is even a comedy club so you can have a nice laugh

Ugh, do NOT like going here...traffic flow is a joke because people don't understand right of way or STOP signs. Rich pampered be-yotches driving their "I'm sure they worked really hard to earn that" Lexus or Mercedes drive and park like complete MORONS to get to the Nordstrom Rack. Did I mention parking is also a joke? There are just way too many businesses here without ample parking or elbow room. I just wanted to go to Pinkberry, but from now on will drive the extra couple miles to Loehmann's Plaza...at least it's much less Thunderdome-like there!

I like the surroundings to this store. I have found that there are several places that make this a great place to visit. I use a mobility scooter around town and I feel really not-safe at this Mall (?). This place should be avoided by all handicapped persons.
