Came in to check out the place under new ownership. Amazing experience! Highly recommend for a casual cozy bar experience. The bar is comfy and feels so communal --people were just chatting and drinking and having a great time. The owner is very warm and welcoming! We came in as a party of three on Wing Wednesday and it is such an amazing deal! 80 cents per wing, in batches of five. We got three batches, the plain, sweet and spicy, lemon pepper, and a basket of fries. The food is homemade and tastes amazing. We also ordered one soda. Everything cost us only about $20. We definitely could have ordered more but the amount was just right. Very reasonable! Will definitely be back for more Wingsdays!!

Came in with friends for the first time on a weeknight around 4:30pm. Made it in time to order from the HH menu. This is in the same plaza as 24hr fitness. We were the only ones in the restaurant and service a bit slow but there was Only one waitress who took our orders and also made our drinks. They give you a lot of fries from the Happy hour so definitely shareable but the chicken tenders were extremely dry. My friends ordered the sliders from the HH and said it was good. I Ordered a beer flight. They were out a lot of beers about 10 but I was able to try the following 4 beers. Porter was my favorite. Food was ok. first timer. it's a small nice restaurant, i wasn't helped right away so i was kind of awkwardly standing behind customers at the bar until i was noticed. did a pick up order for the short rib grilled cheese. it was good but it was overpowered by the cheese. I liked it but i didn't like it at the same time... the cheese was strong that it takes away from the good flavor of the short rib and that says a lot bc i LOVE me a good cheesy grilled cheese. i personally don't think white cheddar & gruyere paired nicely with the short rib. i ate it without the au jus as well. fries were nice and crisp. i would come back to try other items but i wouldn't get this again.

Went to dinner with hubby to celebrate some good health news. Was in the mood to try something new as we tend to frequent our same favorite spots. Fried chicken sounded good, so I yelped "fried chicken", and Hop Junction (HJ) came up in my search. Many HJ reviews mentioned their chicken wings... and someone commented on Wing Wednesday where HJ does wings for $0.80 each. Other reviews said the wings were nice and crispy, and that their sweet and spicy wings were great. 80 cent wings definitely piqued my interest, so I made a quick call to HJ to inquire as to if they still do Wing Wednesday (as I noticed they are under new ownership as of August 2024).Phone call confirmed that yes, "Wing Wednesday" is on, and still $0.80 a piece, all day!Told hubby HJ was where we should go, and he was game. Showed up at HJ about 6:10pm. The place wasn't crowded. One table was occupied and the server said we could sit anywhere we liked. Several TVs around the place, showing MLB and NBA games, which was nice, as the NLCS game was on.Sat down, looked at the menu and decided on drinks... "Dun workin'" for hubby, and "Get crooked craft seltzer" (bc it said pineapple, passion, guava, which sounded good) for me.Letty, our server - and the only one working out front - was great! Very friendly, chill, very honest and fun. She said all the wings are good... and surprisingly said the pumpkin spice wings were good too. But also said, if we aren't pumpkin spice fans, then don't get 'em... so we didn't. We started with sweet & spicy wings (can get wings in an order of 5 wings at a time) and an order of fries. When we walked in we saw a sign on the door for pumpkin spice wings, but just couldn't do it - not a big fan of pumpkin spice, and let's be honest, pumpkin spice chicken wings?? Just sounds weird.The wings came out after about 10-15 minutes, along with carrot sticks and ranch dressing. The wings were nice and crispy, not too much batter, and the sauce was sweet but not too spicy. The fries were good, not crispy but more on the softer side... they had good flavor as they were dusted with seasoning... slightly salty, but possibly a tactic to make one more thirsty?When we finished the sweet & spicy wings, hubby ordered more of the sweet & spicy, in addition to lemon pepper wings and buffalo wings. These seemed to come out quicker than our first order, but with the seltzer and sharing the order of fries and wings with the hubs, my belly was already feeling pretty full!Had to at least try one of the buffalo and one of the lemon pepper wings... the buffalo was solid, pretty good flavor - not at all spicy and didn't have the kick that Letty said... perhaps it was just our batch? The lemon pepper was good... almost like a light lemon pepper sauce - I had expected them to be more dry, with a lemon pepper coating in the breading. These were second to the sweet & spicy wings. Letty suggested next time we try the plain wings, which she said are nice and crispy, but not overly battered.Seeing as we only partook in wings tonight, I had to ask Letty's opinion of their prime burgers... she said everything they serve is good - and she is honest... said she wouldn't work at a place where the food isn't good. I read reviews about the short rib grilled cheese which I would like to try...Wing Wednesday is a good deal... Will definitely be back for more wings... and to try the short rib grilled cheese... and a burger...

A great place for Indian dishes as well as a burger. The craft beer selection is very good. This was a favorite lunch spot before their house changed. I love that I can get favorite curry dishes and traditional breads near home. The small staff is friendly and helpful. I've never had a long wait for food at lunchtime. It is a comfortable, neighborly place quiet enough to have a conversation with your meal.

Hop Junction isn't an Indian food place anymore, it's more Gastro pub. The service was excellent, they did separate checks and came to the table a dozen times We were in a party of six or seven and everybody had a good time, we will be back !

We arrived late one night to an almost empty restaurant. Although it was within a half hour of closing we were able to order our entrees and a beer. The beer was delivered quickly and tasted great.Out entrees (2 different burgers) were delivered in 'to go' (disposable) containers since the kitchen was closing down. The food inside was very good!As we were leaving, the staff let us know of upcoming specials which sounded wonderful. We will return!

I loved Hop Junction when it was a pub/Indian food place before and been wanting to try them with new ownership so decided to order pick up today. I just got back from a long international trip and jet lag was real. I tried calling in my order at first but the phone just rang and rang with no one picking up but thankfully they're on grubhub so I was able to order pick up. I got their short rib grilled cheese with a side salad and an order of fries. Man they do not skip on portions! The fries and salad were basically for 2 people and the sandwich was stuffed with tender short rib meat. Everything was delicious and hit the spot for jet lag hangover! Will def be back to try other their menu items.

I came to eat dinner and the food was delicious. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and it was awesome. The drinks I ordered was a Diamond in the back, sunroof top is the best (but I forgot to take a picture). The bartender Dave is amazing. Great ambiance with music! Must try it out!
