Hop Gardens Taproom

Such a great vibe! We had our staff Christmas party here and it worked out so well. Ordering at the counter makes it so easy for large parties--no hassle of split checks. There is a great, wide selection of beer and food. There was a lot of outdoor seating and the heaters worked great! We all ended up taking our jackets off because we were getting warm, even with the evening chill setting in.What a fantastic spot! We can't wait to come back!

Good food, good service...and I'll never go there again. Why?....I've been to 50 states, 7 continents and at least 40 countries, but Hop Gardens is the first taproom I've ever been to that makes you buy a draft beer without tasting it. One of the joys of taprooms (for me) is choosing what I mostI like and sometimes finding new beers to enjoy. I'm certainly not going to risk all that money trying something new...and then wasting the money if I don't like it. And when they have several types I like (I like stouts and they had 4 of them), I want to get the one I like best, not the one which only sounds like I might like it. So, I'll go elsewhere and buy what I'm sure to enjoy.

A great local brew pub that you must check out! They always have a great selection of beers that rotate regularly. They also have some great pub food.Great pizza's, wood fried raviolis and garlic cheese bread. Check out their website to see what else they serve. Lots of great choices and they have plenty of space to sit inside or out.

Always delicious food, and yummy drinks. Can't go wrong with either! Love the casual and just chill ambiance!

This pizza place/taproom is in my neighborhood and I consider it both a blessing and a curse. It's so tempting to make this my go to spot for just about any occasion. I'll often stop for a takeout pizza on my way home from work or after finishing up a yoga class down the street. I've yet to try an item on their menu that I didn't love. Not to mention that they have a great beer selection, friendly staff and a spacious outdoor/dog friendly patio. It's a must try if you haven't been. The mushroom pizza is epic and so is the bbq artichoke appetizer. So yum!

We checked out Hop Gardens Taproom yesterday while looking for a place to cool down and have some lunch.They have a ton of beers on rotating tap and also a decent selection of non-alcoholic options. We ordered the Shirley Temple for my daughter, an order of the Meatballs and the Meatball Sando to share. The food was really good. The bread that was used for the sando was soft, but still held together really well. It came with a side salad that wasn't overly dressed and had the right amount of ingredients.Service was fine, there was nothing special or standout about the staff. I will note that I did notice the man working in the back didn't look the happiest. Hoping he wasn't the owner or manager because it's not a good look!They have a decent amount of seating inside, but they also have a really nice patio in the back with misters and shade -- it was a full house back there yesterday!Overall, we would definitely come back based off of the food if we are in the area!

The service here is always top tier, everyone always goes above and beyond. Not to mention the food is amazing. I was recommended the blueberry agave cider and it was fresh and delicious. The honey sriracha wings were glazed and cooked to perfection! And you can't go wrong with the pizzas. My favorite is the Hawaiian (yes pineapple does belong on pizza). Fair warning, the pizzas are a little more as personal pizzas but definitely shareable if you get an appetizer. The outside patio is very spacious, clean, and the ambience is always calmer in the early evening. Overall great place!

Tucked away in Curtis Park - a decently sized taproom w/ pizza options. Plenty of decent brews on tap. Moderately priced for the area. Good selection and the flavors and quality of the brews - both pilsners and IPA were solid and hit the spot.The pizzas were excellent albeit a bit small and on the pricier side. Flavors and toppings were good and fresh, and their overall approach to pizza is solid - not too greasy, plenty of flavor, and wood-oven fired style.Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Trivia during the week. Parking is ATROCIOUS, so carpool if you can - there isn't an attached lot and street parking is all that's available.Definitely more of a hipster/grunge vibe if that's your thing.

The last time I visited this building, it used to be a coffee place. So, I remembered that all parking is on the street...no lot. For a deceptively small storefront, it's pretty specious once inside. Too, if you go all the way back, you find this large back courtyard with ample space for large number of people to meet and mingle.Not so many lush, potted green plants as when it was a coffee place. Apparently, when they removed those, the already roomy patio became even more larger. There's covered picnic table space for big groups, and there's cozy quaffing space for solo folk to sit with a book and a dog.The beer menu is enormous and varied! They've got a big on-draft menu of beers from all over the state, so you can choose from a big assortment. In addition, they sell 5oz pours, so you can put together your own flights if you can't narrow it down to one pick.Their canned selection is also fairly big.Plus...their kitchen serves enough food so you can line your tummy with pizza and salads.The Hop Garden has a lot going for it.

Have had some great Pizza and, amazing appetizers. Really enjoyable garden. Kind of a surly male cashier. I asked him to not pour my soda into a plastic cup and lid. He said that plastics improve immunity and refused. Of course plastic in our watershed compromises oxygen delivery and carbon sequestration. I won't be back.
