Hooch's Sports Bar & Grill Pizzeria

I kind of find it funny that Lauren S., who I assume is affiliated with this restaurant sent me another "flame" message today, advising me to change my dining experiences and expectations. She seems to delight in sending my "flame" messages every few months or so.My advice to Lauren and the staff at Hooch's is to simply get over it, get things together and to run a quality restaurant. You're walking in Rosati's shoes... try them on, make sure they fit and get things going.

I was a little worried, before coming here that the service was going to be really slow, and the customer service was going to be bad, based on some of the other reviews that I read. Luckily, I didn't have that experience. The restaurant wasn't super busy, but there were a few other tables of people there. I ordered some wings and a pizza. The wings came out first and by the time we were done with the wings, the pizza came shortly after, just like it should, so no complaints with the service at all. There did only seem to be 1 guy working the whole front of the restaurant, but he got me a refill when I needed it, and got me extra ranches when I need them, he even came back and asked me how the wings were. As far as the food, I thought the wings were ok. There is only 2 flavors, buffalo or bbq. The wings were not soggy, they had a little crisp to them, which is good, but they were really weird shaped. When he brought them out to me I actually thought they were boneless, based on the shape. The wings were not bad, I just think maybe there not the best quality of wing. The pizza on the other hand was good. Its thin crust, cut in squares, good amount of toppings, no complaints on the pizza, other than that when places cut the pizza in squares like that, sometimes the middle pieces can get a little soggy since its so heave with toppings right in the center. All around I had a good experience.

Veeerrrry slow service. I think the owner was sitting having a beer and the bartender was also the cook. Took 30 minutes to get food.

Had a great meal, meat lover's pizza, and great time watching the game! Fun crowd and great service from Ashley, Dana and Jonny. Great local hang out. Want to come back for trivia or Karaoke for some different fun.

Pizza was good (ordered Hawaiian). Great bartender. Definitely more bar atmosphere than restaurant.

It took 2 hours to get my food, very disappointed. Do not recommend coming here, I just wanted my pizza.

From Buffalo NY. Ordered Buffalo wings "naked" and Buffalo sauce style. Received breaded coated and no sauce, not even a celery stick??? Cook came out and said she has traveled all over the country. I said then you never have been to Buffalo as these aren't even close. Get this, the replacement order is suppose to be 6 but received 5. I guess she thought this was fair as well as serving dry 5 deep fried wings. I even asked if they heard of the Anchor Bar Buffalo NY - never heard of it??Sorry to see the previous change in ownership but if you are going to serve Buffalo Wings at least Google how they are prepared!!!Or just maybe try Sully's for wings in Rocklin! Sorry but we loved the pizza but definitely lost a customer here!!!
