Glad to stop by this Home On the Range. What a great place to hit some balls. It's well kept, not expensive to get a buckets of balls ranging 10-20 dollars. Staff are nice and friendly. Highly recommended. Pretty setting.

A hidden fucking gem! I can't believe it took me so long to come over here. The owner is awesome and is super laid back and funny. Can't wait to come back and "treat that place like my backyard" again.

Awesome neighborhood hitting range. It's a great value and a nice community. Nothing fancy which gives it a relaxed atmosphere for some hitting!

This unpretentious Driving Range, set near Hwy 80 in Newcastle is terrific. Little is known about owner and PGA Pro, Phil Green. As he wanders through his clients (hitting buckets of balls) he is "freely" advising his patrons on finer techniques of hitting a straight and consistent ball or just having a laugh about the trials and tribulations of life. He'll teach anyone for $100/hr; he'll help you anytime if you ask...That's the kind of man he is...He has coached "handicapped" kids for years, and High School Teams to championships.....Phil is generous soul.

My family has used this spot several times over the years . Yesterday they were approached by the "owner-operator"stating that my husband, who is on crutches and not hitting, was not allowed to advise our adult son how to hit the ball because it is HIS golf academy. . We've been playing for many years, and never experienced such unprofessionalism from a pro. My husband is not a pro and was simply enjoying time with his son. He was told that if he is going to instruct he should not come back. Our whole family as well as friends use this facility. We all will no long be doing so.

This place is amazing!! Right off the road in Newcastle and a true gem. Phil is a great guy,and you can tell he has a true love for the spot. He is also great with kids, he gave tips to my son about sqeezing the club the place has a relaxing feel and is definitely not pretentious like some golf places. Support small businesses.

This place is awesome, laid back, and an inexpensive place to spend some time during covid.
