We enjoyed a wonderful brunch today at this new restaurant in South Natomas. You can tell that so much attention to detail was put into this beautiful restaurant. The seating is super comfortable, the light jazz playing in the background, and the whole vibe of this place just hits! The foooood was so so good! The service was perfect, and we met the owner, Luis. The chilaquiles is his recipe, and they were AMAZING. They really know how to deliver here! We look forward to trying many more menu items.

Loved this place. The ambiance was wonderful. I had the 2 salsa chilaquiles which were tasty and crunchy. My friend ordered a horchata latte and was very good too. Waiter was nice, attentive and friendly. Family owned. We were told they'll have live music soon, looking forward to coming back.

The manager was so sweet, and welcoming. She gave us more detail in the meaning behind the name of the bistro and provided us with menus and coupons to take back with us. The bistro has a soothing, peaceful ambiance. Will definitely be back soon. The crepe was 1000/10 ,can't wait to try everything else

I found this place via Google Maps whilst looking for a place in Natomas to meet a friend for lunch. It looked nice from the pictures, the food looked good, and the reviews though few were very good (5's). I walked in and was greeted immediately by one of the owners. The inside is so nice, and stylish, such an improvement compared to what the space used to be. It was spacious but still had a cozy feel. I love that they had real chairs that were wide and comfy though having worked in restaurants previously I cringe to think how dirty the chairs will be a few months down the road as they are cloth. The owner was the server that day. He was super friendly and nice, letting me know I could sit wherever I liked and bringing me menus and waters immediately. The menu has mostly classic dishes like club sandwiches etc. but it's nice that you can choose from the breakfast or lunch menus all day. I chose the the Club sandwich and added cheese (I feel like a Club sandwich should always come with cheese) and an iced tea. My friend ordered a cappuccino, the pesto chicken sandwich and a a berry & chocolate crepe. Everything came out right, fresh and very quickly. The other owner (servers wife) came by just to introduce herself and say hi and thank us for coming, which I thought was very nice. I'm guessing she's responsible for the pretty aesthetic. The server offered my friend a regular coffee refill even though she had ordered an espresso drink previously which I thought was a very lovely gesture. I know food costs are high at the moment but when prices hopefully decrease I hope their pricing does too as a few items price points were a little high compared to other similar restaurants downtown which have higher overhead pricing. It looks like they have a good sized patio area attached though there is no furniture out there currently. Hopefully they will add some and make the space as cute as the inside is. My only suggestions are to work on their steps of service. From a few mistakes I think they are new to the restaurant business and will improve with time and experience. For example when I asked for an iced tea refill the busser (very sweet and friendly) took my glass and refilled the tea but did not replenish the ice. When I asked the server for a glass of ice to add to my iced tea he noticed the busser had not replenished the ice and went to him directly to tell him how to serve refills which was appreciated. My friend ordered the crepe to have as dessert but the owner brought it out at the same time as our entrees, he should have asked if she wanted them together or to wait to put in the order as dessert, as by the time she got to eating it the whipped cream was melted and the crepe was room temperature. It would have been nice to enjoy it while it was fresh had it been brought out after the entree but it was delicious and a had a generous portion of toppings. I would suggest using a thicker real whipped cream to prevent the melting effect and make it more presentable. Bringing fresh forks and knives for the dessert would have been nice as I really appreciate when servers anticipate guest's needs but they were quick to bring them when asked. They were great about pre-bussing the table (my pet peeve when servers and bussers do not do this) and refilling water. We stayed a while after finishing our meals and the staff kept coming over providing refills and asking if we needed anything else without making us feel rushed which was lovely. I hope people hear about this place as it is a nice place to enjoy good food with a friendly staff. Once they work on their steps of service I'll update the rating to 5 stars. Even now I would say it's 4.5 stars but unfortunately Yelp doesn't allow for half stars. We will both definitely be returning to try more menu items and support a new mom and pop business.

I love this place! It reminded me of a Mexico City cafe restaurant. The ambiance, music, decor and food options are excellent. The service was amazing, polite and food came in when supposed to. We had crepes for dessert which we order after our entrees so not complains there. My friends had guava mimosas and I had the iced horchata latte which i truly enjoyed. The restaurant is family owned. We got to talked to Laura for a bit and it was so interesting finding out the meaning of the restaurant name. I will definitely going back!

Stopped by for the first time today to check it out, I was a frequent of Cheers years ago before it got bad (dim) and they have done an amazing job transforming the place! You would never know it used to be a hood bar lol. Anyways, I was immediately greeted and offered a seat and/or a menu, the ambiance was beautiful, customer service outstanding! I ordered the American Club with a side salad and both were delicious. I can't wait to come back and try their breakfast and more things from the lunch and dinner menu's everything looks divine. I hope this place lasts, it's a welcome addition to this neighborhood for sure!

New restaurant in south Natomas! I love finding new business popping up in my neighborhood. I walked in to grab a to go menu. The owner was friendly and super helpful. I will come back to try the food, but the ambiance of the restaurant, the kind service, and the variety of food alone is worth a try. I'll be back!
