Hefty Gyros

Used them as a caterer for my party at home. Very professional, on time, and accommodating to requests made during the party. Sometimes caterers will skimp you on portions when it comes to a personal party, but not hefty! they definitely lived up to their name. Thank you Jamal and staff for accommodating my wife and I! P.S. hefty fries combination is the go to IMO

Food: Loved Hefty Gyros combo style plate. Chicken, meat, veggies, tzatziki, humus, and pita. You gear a lot of bang for your buck. Easily 2 meals in 1 large plate. Flavorful and fresh sums it up. I will be back again for sure.Ambiance: Friendly and patient staff. Quick turnaround with the order. Fun environment since this was at an outside event. Definitely hit the spot on many marks.Parking: Food truck pop-up locations so there's parking all around. Always nice to go to an event and see them there.

Short review: Disappointing, quality has gone downhillLong review:I used to love Hefty Gyros after trying them 6 years ago. Their gyros were excellent (tasty, very fresh bread, fries well cooked). I haven't eaten there for a while because they stopped posting their location on Facebook.I was very excited to eat again after at least a year, even after I already ate lunch.When I got there they had sold out of the regular gyro and only had chicken. Very disappointing for the following reasons:1. Fries were lukewarm and limp2. The spicy sauce they used didn't taste very good and there was too much of it on the fries3. They used to have crinkle cut fries and now they are shoestring4. The chicken was dry despite being drenched in hot sauce5. Pricey, $20 for a gyro, fries and drinkI'm hoping this was just a one off bad meal. Also they might get more business by posting their location on Facebook as well as not everyone uses Instagram.

what a gem hefty gyros is! we stumbled upon them by chance, but it was meant to be! the team are extremely outgoing and friendly. the food is absolutely divine. we ordered the gyro pita which had a jam packed amount of flavor with the pepperoncinis. the hefty fries with gyro were so good. the meat paired perfectly with the fries and was seasoned so well. the fries were crispy and not soggy at all! will definitely keep my eyes peeled for the truck when i'm in the area. i'm getting hungry again just thinking about it!

I went to a festival and Hefty Gyros food truck was there. I ordered the Chicken Over Rice Entree for $20. It was a lot of food. Chcken, rice, salad, fries, 1/4 pita, hummus.Full of flavor and worth the $20.

This tried this food truck at the Marysville Bok Kai Parade and it is crazy good!! I had their Hefty Fries and regular Gyro and it didn't disappoint at all. There was so much food and talk about a taste bud explosion. The Ingredients they used were fresh and flavorful. I forgot to add that you can't enjoy the full perfection of the meal unless you get their strawberry lemonade to enjoy the entire experience. I fully intend to eat here everyone I see them. So please make sure to eat their food if you see them they won't let you down. Thank Mariah for a great food experience.

Gyros are one of the foods that I really love, but rarely get to order. We stopped by a group of food trucks and as soon as I spotted Hefty Gyros I knew what I wanted.We did stop towards the end of the night, so I'll have to try them again to see if the next experience is better. I ordered the Gyro Meal Deal with Baklava and a water ($17). It was ready pretty quickly and we took it home along with food from another truck my husband stopped at.The meal was wrapped nicely and it was still hot when we got home. I thought it was unique that Hefty Gyros doesn't use tomatoes and has banana pepper rings on their gyros. I also noticed in the photos that they had red onion, but I didn't notice it on my gyro. I did like the hot sauce they added to the gyro though, it added a bit of extra flavor and was really good.The baklava was delicious and I would definitely order it again.I would try Hefty Gyros again and maybe order something different the next time to explore their menu.

Amazing food and huge portions! I get the falafel salad and my husband gets the chicken salad. They are consistently tasty. We have been lucky enough to have this food truck come to our neighborhood. We will be back every time!

Always happy when I see their food truck on Travis AFB. Great food, great service, highly recommend!

Service was great and quick and Gyros was great. My daughter loved their lemonade too. I'll be back. Thx
