Authentic Mediterranean Cuisine [Orangevale CA]I had the opportunity to do take out twice from this restaurant and customer service and the food was excellent! The chicken plate with salad, rice and tzatziki was a generous serving. The chicken very tasty with amazing flavors especially with the tzatziki sauce. My hubby enjoyed the chicken gyro very much -- chicken, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, tzatziki wrapped in a pita bread. He loved everything in it except he removed the slivers of onion.A nice casual takeout and dine-in family-run restaurant. Interior was cozy and clean with both table and booths. There is also a covered table seating area available outside. Parking is shared with other businesses.I would love to try their burgers sometime. Prices are very reasonable. Review #3649

Food:Veggie Falafel $10.49: 5/5My daughter loved her falafel gyro & it was huge & bursting with veggies & falafel pieces.French fries $4.99: 2/5Tasted a bit frozen although they doused with some flavorful spices & huge serving.Hummus with pita $5.99: 1/5Disappointing. The hummus was watery & not flavorful. The pita was sparse, just a few small pieces which wasn't even near enough to eat with it, so I was left which a container of hummus. (Perhaps the goal is to inspire you to buy more pita bread. )The worker asked if we wanted a side of fries with the gyro, but failed to mention they weren't included & we were charged an extra $4.99. (Felt that was a bit of a sneaky upsell.) I was also charged a hidden credit card fee of 4%. This was not disclosed either. I don't mind paying more, at all. It's the principle BTW. I'd appreciate if the disclaimer of the extra 4% fee was mentioned. Transparency is important.I sincerely hope the business takes these points into consideration.

Great new place for lunch. Great taste of food, quality ingredients. Great price for the quality about $15 per person . I will definitely be coming back !!!

Clean and very friendly. Booths and chairs seating. Mediterranean music videos play while they prepare your meal. Free drinks for first time customers. I ordered the #21 the chicken kabob. My husband got the #8 Gyro plate. Not sure if the difference between the Kabob and gyro plate besides $3. What I do know, it was delicious. Fantastic. The cucumber salad, hummus, tzatziki were great compliments to the chicken on a bed of rice. I got medium spice and my husband got spicy. Mine had a slight kick and my husband says his spicy was "plenty hot but not unpleasant. Just right". We got two homemade baklavas. Baklava was heavy on the filling and good. Pretty sweet.Two thumbs up. We'll be back.

We ordered a variety of different plates/gyros and they were all wonderful. I would recommend Harir for delicious, authentic Mediterranean food.

Obsessing over this restaurant since seeing a post from a FB group that recommended it.Ordered chicken plate,chicken combo,side of tzatziki & pita last night.Order was ready for pickup less than 25 minutes.Amazing! I regretted not also getting their baklava and hummus.We will definitely be back,soon!

I kept seeing that Harir had opened and couldn't wait to try it. I had a little bit of unexpected free time before a baseball game so my son and i headed to grab a late lunch.We had the chicken gyro and chicken plate. The food smelled so good we could hardly wait to eat.. so I'm embarrassed to say we started eating in the car! You know teenagers can be picky but my son inhaled his chicken plate. He LOVED it.The tzatziki was one of the best I've had- no exaggeration. The staff that were there, super kind and welcoming! We are both excited to go back and bring the rest of the family.

I think I may have a problem -- I've eaten here three times in the last nine days! It's that addicting. The flavors are incredible, and I love that it's a family-run establishment. My food is always served hot, and you can really tell they use fresh ingredients.Their online ordering is super convenient; my meals are always ready in 25 minutes or less. I've tried the lamb/steak shawarma and the lamb/steak gyro (check out the pictures!). If you enjoy extra flavor with a mild kick, definitely get it made "spicy." Their hot sauce is a must-try! The dolmades are packed with flavor. The hummus and taziki will take your taste buds on a ride. Highly recommend you give this place a visit!

Very delicious and fresh! We had the veggie gyro and combination shawarma and they were both excellent.

Absolutely the best gyro and kebobs around hands down. Salad is also delicious. Taziki sauce is our favorite. Don't forget to try the homemade baklava. So glad we found this place. We go weekly!!! Yummmms!!!
