Won Ton Soup was flavorful! The won ton filling has little shitake mushrooms. I love it!

This is for the Elk Grove location in Old Elk Grove on Elk Grove Blvd, which everyone confuses with the Grantline location. Both are good, but we love the Old EG location because there is ample parking, the bar is always lively, the staff are all amazing, and the food is consistently superb! They also do take out. Portions are huge, so we always enjoy leftovers afterwards.

Got carry out on a Friday evening! Was super easy to call and pick up. The ladies were super nice and spoke Cantonese. Felt busy with most tables occupied at 730-8pm on a Friday. First time here but would come back. Ordered Peking spareribs and it came with a pint of white rice. Very good and fresh! Lasted me 3 meals!

I used to go to the original location way back I'm the day. The dim sum always hits. Today I was craving dim sum and went to new happy garden. Ordered 100 dollars worth of dim sum and a half duck. Everything was excellent. Our waitress was very attentive and sweet which isn't always the case during dim sum. Items we requested came out hot and fresh.

Tonight I was craving Chinese food with alot of vegetables. This hit the spot! I ordered broccoli cashew with tofu. The sauce was light and flavorful. It was not heavy like at some places. The broccoli and the cashews were fresh and crunchy which I really liked. The excellent service stood out to me. Our server was super friendly and attentive. We asked for to go boxes and she boxed up all of our food and gave us extra sauces without us asking. The ambiance was ok. The interior of the restaurant is not well lit and is outdated. This makes sense though. The restaurant has been in Elk Grove for a long time. I would definitely go back for the great food and great service.!

Chicken chow mein was good here. Asked for spicy and great level of spice. It would have been better if they added more chicken and some veggies to the chow mein. Must be something to tell them to add veggies and balanced amount of chicken. Good overall, just not enough chicken.

Best salt and pepper wings in Sac! One of the only Chinese food restaurants with a full bar, great bartenders w/heavy handed pours. A chill place for the locals.

We came in and ordered to go. The main dishes were just ok, but the rice was horrible. Not fresh, like they had slopped everything together from a crusty pot of 3-day old leftovers. Also, $16 for a small soup? Wontons in there had a strange taste. Maybe I'm just used to better quality. Please update your online prices as each dish was $5 more at the restaurant. A pass for my entire family. We'll go elsewhere for quality and price.
