Pleasantly surprised with this place. There were 3 of us. We spent $65 (no tip), here is what we ordered. Pho Option #2 - Large (2) $40Pork & Eggroll Virmicelli Bowl (1) $20Side of Soup Broth (1) $5(Rounding to the nearest $5)There are 2 options for Pho. First option has stir fried beef, with spices. They then add it to the bowl of broth and noodles. Second option is more of the typical pho, with brisket and rare beef slices. My order was the pork and eggroll virmicelli. I really liked it. The sauce that came with it had a really good kick to it. The nested eggroll was SO GOOD. I enjoyed my meal. We all enjoyed our meals. We will definitely be back. The menu is very simple. One thing I do want to mention. Their banh mi's are SUPER EXPENSIVE. Go somewhere else for that.

This new spot is GOOOOD. Simple menu. Straight to the point, bomb ass food. Everything we ordered was a hit.The netted egg roll had the perfect crunch. The satisfying crispiness had me wanting more. The garlic noodles were perfect, from the first bite to the next morning's leftovers. They were flavorfully sprinkled with crunchy garlic, and the meat was cooked flawlessly. The fries were a bit unexpected, but they were tasty. Overall, a solid dish! The pho wasn't the best pho I've ever had, but the flavor was good & savory. No complaints, I would order again if I was in the mood for soup. I'm not big on pho, but my boyfriend swears he can eat it everyday, which I'm sure he's done before, and to him the pho was good. Would we eat here again? YES. Still curious to try the fish sauce chicken wings! Since no dish was a disappointment , excited to try more items on the menu! Service was quick and efficient, it was a very simple restaurant setting, no thrills no frills, but that's not always needed to have a wonderful satisfying dinner.

The food here is delicious! Anytime there is a new Asian restaurant in Sactown, I definitely have to go try it out. Restaurant is located on the east side of downtown Sac. No parking in front but plenty of parking in the back and also 1 hour free street parking as well. As the name suggests, the restaurant features popular dishes from Hanoi with some modern twists. No wait time when we got here for lunch and service was prompt. We got netted spring rolls for appetizer, and garlic noodles with fish sauce chicken wings and bun cha for our main entrees. Netted Spring Rolls: (5/5) Wow these are amazing! Very crunchy on the outside and soft/chewy on the inside. Texture is similar to a typical egg roll but the crunch from the netted rice paper was the cherry on top. No restaurant around Sacramento has this so definitely give this a try. Probably the best dish out of the 3 we ordered. A bit pricey at $4/roll but they're worth the cost!Garlic noodles with chicken wings: (5/5) Garlic noodles was garlicky, buttery, and chewy. A hint of sweetness but overall delicious as what you would expect from a garlic noodle dish. We wanted to try the chicken wings as an appetizer but since they offered this as a protein side to the garlic noodles, why not kill 2 birds with 1 stone?? Pro tip: mix the sauce from the chicken wings to the garlic noodles for a wild ride in flavor town. Bun Cha (5/5): Very popular dish in Hanoi and now you can experience this right here in Sac! I visited Hanoi in 2024 and I honestly can't tell any difference between this and the ones served there. Traditional, authentic and flavorful, can't go wrong with this option. Bun (vermicelli noodle) will be served on the side so add it to the broth as you eat. Overall, the food was amazing. Will most likely be back soon to try out their other dishes. Be sure to check out this gem!

I am so glad that there is a Vietnamese restaurant in East Sac that is closer to my home than commuting to South Sac. We started with the netted egg rolls and the fish sauce chicken wings. The egg rolls were amazing and better than similar places. The wings were okay as I prefer more of a dry rub. I love the lychee lemonade. It came with 2 lychees and the drink actually tasted like lychees. The tai nam gau pho was just okay as well. The broth could have been more flavorful. The steak was slightly overcooked. I was very happy that there is an option for the big noodles as this is what I prefer. The garlic noodles with tofu were so delicious. I love the crispiness of the fried tofu. Even though I had mixed feelings, I would dine in again as I did enjoy most of the items that I ordered.

Came here after seeing it pop up as a new restaurant, so I had to try it. Solid meal!I saw the pictures of the egg rolls and ordered that immediately. They were so crispy and delicious, easily my favorite egg rolls in sac. Everyone needs to learn how to make them like these! Also had to try the garlic noodles and those were good too, love the crunchy garlic bits. I got the pork with the noodles but think I might try a different protein next time. Other than that I appreciated the servers attention to detail, will definitely be back!

Stopped by here as it was one of the few Pho in the area still open on a Sunday past 4-5pm. Turned out to be a great pho spot. Pho: The pho broth was very flavorful, I did not need to add much toppings or additional flavor. I got the large and it had a lot of noodles and meat. For an $18 bowl of pho, they made the moneys worth of noodles and meat! Egg rolls: While it is on the more expensive side at $12.99 for 4 egg rolls, I will say it's the best egg rolls I've ever had. It is insanely crunchy and crispy while feeling super light. Even when dipped into the fish sauce, it's still super crispy. I'd come back to get these egg rolls again! One egg roll is fairly decent sized. Vermicelli Bowl: The grilled pork in the bowl is delicious. Mixed with the egg rolls & noodles, it's refreshing and a great dish if you aren't craving soupy noodles. I do wish the server was a bit better. That's the reason for my 4.4/5. While they came quick to take our orders and give water, there wasn't any water refills & we weren't sure if we had to go to the front to pay or whatnot. They basically left us once the food came out, even though it wasn't super busy!

Great new Vietnamese spot in East Sac. This is true authentic northern Vietnamese food. The family is great - with amazing and quick service. They don't have a huge pho selection, so if you are looking for specific types of meats / broths, this may not be the best option. But trust that their broth is great!

Decided to go out instead of cooking dinner after a long week. I wanted to check this new spot out since they opened. Parking was a bit iffy almost no spots available. If you decide to come here, please be willing to hunt for a spot and walk. The service was so so. Once the food came, the server was no where to be seen. It would have been okay if there was a water jug or pitcher available to refill our water. The pho I order was very good. For a small, it was the perfect serving. The broth was rich and meat was tender. We wanted to try their pho rolls but they were out so we opted for their netted rolls instead. The netted rolls were crispy but a little salty in my opinion. The restaurant was very clean and had tables and booths spaces pretty far apart. It allowed people to talk and not bothering other people dining in.
