Hanford Ranch Winery

This review is for the venue. This past weekend, I visited the Hanford Ranch Winery for the first time ever. I was there for a small business holiday shopping fair. I am cutting to the chase, the winery grounds and views are impressive. As I was driving to get here, the rural countryside did not seem particularly scenic with its flat valley landscape. But as I drove up into the winery grounds, I noticed the elevation. Who knew there are rolling hills in the area?!? I did not. Since the winery is on an elevated ground, it has spectacular panoramic views of the valley with the neighboring vineyards and grazing fields. If the views are this gorgeous currently in our mild winter, I can imagine how it would look in the Fall and Spring. The winery grounds include two large Spanish styled outdoor courtyards. Even though the parking lot is gravel packed, the grounds have paved walkways. There are two restroom buildings near each courtyard.The tasting room staff member and the grounds member that I spoke to were friendly and hospitable. They showed an enthusiasm for the winery. If you are looking for an outdoor space for large (crafts fair) or not so large (weddings, parties) events...check them out.

We had an excellent time at Hanford winery. It was a Yelp Elite event and we were lucky enough to be there during a time with vendors and Santa were there too! I loved the Barbera, my friends liked the cab and bought a bottle to take home. She bought another bottle too but I'm unsure which one.The grounds were great if your considering a wedding venue. I should have taken more pictures. I would definitely go back for more smooth wine and to chat more with Mr Hanford. He's a character. Lol.

Beautiful place to go wine tasting, incredibly friendly staff! They played Christmas songs with the piano, overall, a great experience.

This Yelp Elite event was held at this lovely local winery where sip and shop was the theme. After visiting a few vendors we ended up in the winery tasting and indulged in 4 wines and some great knowledge and funnies with the Hanford family. I'm not a Chardonnay gal but this was the first I've ever liked. Honestly I really enjoyed all 4 but yeah, the Chardonnay was the winner. Shortly after we continued to visit more vendors and grab a bite. I purchased a few items, as the vendors were amazing. Overall the setup and service was really nice. Oh not to mention the 12 year old DJ, amazing.

Im not a hudge drinker of wine i don't drink wine but i was willing to try the wine the pink lady was probably the best one .the property was beautiful. And all the vendors and people there were awesome and amazing .

This was our second time staying here thru Harvest Hosts. It is such a beautiful location. The owners are so friendly. We had such a great time in the tasting room. Thank you Melissa and Preston for another wonderful time. We look forward to the next time we get back to see you.

I just got married 10/22/22 & Handford ranch winery made my dream wedding come reality with this location! My experience with Melissa was amazing.. she was always there along the way to answer any questions I had and was very very helpful. The first time I went to see the location, I fell in love & had to book right away with them. I do not regret spending my money on this venue for my wedding! Pictures turned out beautiful I wish I could have a wedding all over again just to experience this place again! Definitely recommend. So many beautiful places for beautiful pictures to have as a memory!

Hanford Ranch Winery is my go-to venue for hosting all of my Holiday Craft Fairs, and for good reason! The property is an absolute delight - beautifully manicured, receiving nothing but stellar reviews. The owners are fantastic partners, and so generous with their property. It's really quite blaw wine. Apparently they buy wine from local ranches and add their label. Truly boring wine. Basically a scam. No control, no ownership, no heart in the product, just a label of an old sudo cowboy smoking. Strange business. As for harvest host..... nice local, charge excessive for power and guilt into extremely overpriced wines.

We went to this beautiful venue for a wedding reception. When I arrived, I immediately lost the back to my earring (very integral part of my Indian outfit). Nobody had a spare for me until I ran into a winery employee named Cindy. Cindy used her problem solving skills to find me a makeshift earring back... a pencil eraser! She brought me one and I popped that thing on the back of my earring. My day was saved! Apart from their amazing staff, the location provided the most beautiful sunset backdrop for the bride and groom's first dance. It was the perfect location for my friends' big Indian wedding reception!
