On a beautiful morning my fiancé and I decided to take my daughter to the park. This park has 2 playgrounds, a sandbox, plenty of picnic tables and beautifully mowed lawns! You can read more about whom this park was named after on their plaque I'll insert here!I would highly recommend this great park located in Folsom, my 5 year old had a blast and we'll definitely be returning to explore more!

This is quite a "handy" convenient neighborhood park tucked along the edge of the Talus Ridge subdivision in Folsom on Cavitt Drive. The park sits on the higher elevated part of Folsom, so it has a pretty neat westward view. The park has a soccer field, basketball courts, a covered pavilion with two bbqs and two picnic tables, restrooms (which are currently closed), and a parking lot. There is a huge amount of green lawn to throw down a blanket for a picnic, an outdoor exercise session, some meditative cloud gazing or whatever suits your fancy; all while socially distancing.

A friend and I met here after work yesterday for a dinner picnic. We ordered food to go because the restaurant was closed for dine in and found this park through handy dandy YELP search! I laid out one of my quilted blankets underneath a tree and we had plenty of shade from the sun with a beautiful view. The park has plenty of parking and there were numerous happy folks waking their doggies, playing sports, exercising and also other diners who brought their restaurant to go orders and dined on the picnic tables. There are public bathrooms nearby which we didn't need to use however great to know it's there as needed.Happy the restaurant was not open for diners yesterday so that we were able to discover this park nearby at Folsom where I'll surely be taking advantage again for more picnics to come!

Came here with my fiancé and her daughter after her daughter's laboratory's appointment this morning. This park is located on the corner of Cavitt Dr/Kilrush Dr in Folsom, CA. It's a nice neighborhood park with a basketball court, two play areas, a soccer field, a sand pit, and numerous picnic tables but one main gazebo-style area with bbq stand. Her daughter loved the park because this play area have dual slides where her daughter can choose which side to slide down to. Definitely will be coming back here again and again.

Always clean and a good time for my little girls. They love to bring their sandcastle buckets and play in the sand. Good park for smaller children.

I have been here many times. This family park located on Cavitt Drive between Iron point Rd and Broadstone parkway in Folsom is a great safe park for all ages. There are two play structures for kids. Big and little. There is a soccer field, basketball court, sand area, open space to play, bathrooms, and a covered BBQ /eating/party area. It is set up well and located in a nice suburban neighborhood (Talus Ridge) yet conveniently located off HWY 50 if you need a rest from a drive. You can grab food from a nearby fast food, pizza, deli or Costco and picnic here and let your kids play. Bring sand toys for little kids, Frisbees, kites, soccer balls, basketballs, and/or a picnic, Peaceful and pretty with a nice view. A well kept secret gem of Folsom.
