Hamdan Butcher Shop

This is a new butcher that opened up in our neighborhood. I happen to be in that shopping Square and decided to stop in.I was very pleasantly surprised! Even though the store is a little hidden off of Arden Way, it is bright and clean. The owner is so welcoming and friendly. He was very open about where they get their meat, and he butchers it himself . We went fairly late in the evening, so there wasn't that much meat in the display, but what was there looked fresh. I impulsively bought some ground lambThey have such a wide array of meat including bison, goat, and rabbit. No pork of course, it is a halal butcher. They also offer meat packs that give you a nice discount, and they are open to switching out meats in the pack. I appreciate that, it is not always an option. The prices are very fair. They also have a nice range of spices.We are having a big family barbecue in a few weeks, and I will be going back with the grill master to pick up meat. I look forward to supporting this family business in our neighborhood!

I'm sad I have to leave a poor review.Hamdan is a nice guy and has a good selection of meat. He has excellent customer service.HOWEVER, when buying ground lamb today, we confirmed multiple times that it was fresh and when it was ordered & processed (out of health concerns due to allergies). It turns out when we got home, that the ground lamb was a mix of fresh and ROTTEN meat that was passed off as freshly ground meat (with all assurances of it being fresh ground and explaining the health issues due to freshness.)I'm just disappointed this was the case because I was looking to build report and have a good business relationship, but passing off old rotten meat could've resulted in hospitalization. This unacceptable.UPDATE: Even the meat we thought was ok & fresh (and were assured was fresh) tasted very off. Less than 10g of meat resulted in an ER visit.

Had to share some love for Hamdan Butcher Shop. Over the last couple of years I've transitioned to only getting meat from a butcher shop; for health and quality reasons. When I saw a new halal shop I had to give it a try! All the meat halal and all animals are killed humanely. They have an array of products from American but style meats to kabobs and middle eastern patty's. I also get my eggs there now; which are directly from Hamadan's farm. Can't say enough positive things about this place. Lastly, the prices are what you'd expect at Costco but you get top tier meats! Highly recommend giving this place a try, you wont be disappointed.

I've been buying meat and organs from Mohammed for several years, since before he moved to this spot on Arden Way. He sells all kinds of different meats and organs that are always fresh and taste delicious. Aside from the great food, the customer service that you'll receive here is unlike anything you'll ever find anywhere else. They take their time to talk to you about different products and are happy to answer any questions you have. And I always leave feeling like I've been treated like a VIP. I recommend Hamdan butcher shop to all of my friends and family and anyone that wants to source fresh meat and organs.

I was searching for a butcher shop that was fairly close by, had great prices and easy parking. Hamdan fit the bill perfectly...AND they are open until 7:30pm unlike other butcher shops in the area. I read previous reviews which were spot on to my experience as well. Upon entering the shop I was promptly greeted with a friendly smile. Hamdan and his father were gracious and answered my questions and then some. Their lamb is fresh daily and never frozen. I was very impressed and will definitely make this my go to spot for my animal proteins; chicken, beef and lamb. Again, the prices were fantastic and the quality as well. I already tried the premade lamb burger patties which were delicious. I highly recommend Hamdan! 5 stars all the way around!

Service ... I called Rhee days ago to get a 4 lbs boneless skinless turkey breast .. and the owner promised by noon on Tuesday he never calkec I calls and he said oh sorry k was late but work! Whole I understand life happens don't commit to what you can't and won't do! I drive 40 minutes after receiving confirmation that bones less skinless turkey breast would be ready for pick up at 10:30 AM today... got here to be told no idea what I was taking about . When I said no I called and was confirmed it would be ready the butcher said , oh ok! Now to be handed a 2 lbs boneless skinless turkey breast to be told sorry that's all I have! I would never recommend this shop as your dinner depends on the protein and the shop can't deliver!

WARNING DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!here is my experience with this company If I could give ZERO stars a would. I went in on Labor Day and purchased a meat package from the owner. He claimed he was out of most things in the package I asked him to give me what he had and to change out the whole chickens for ribs and tri tip. Here we are a few days ago I thaw the whole chicken (not what I asked for) and the chicken was rotten smelled bad old nasty and owner response was very vague here we are today yet another whole chicken that I did NOT ask for I thaw it AGAIN old nasty rotten this is not ok this is unsafe and unsanitary this company needs to be closed down and inspected, investigated this is disgusting. 200 dollars wasted because now I don't trust any of the meat gotten from this company if you purchased meat from This company and have gotten sick please call a lawyer

Did not like the lamb I purchased . I would not go back . The lamb had a funny smell and looked like an old piece of meat . I bought it for lamb stew but did not use it . I disposed of it.

Very rude and horrible service. There are many better halal meat stores in the region. This store is not trustable either. Worst customer service. Please stay away from such so called halal store.
