Halalz Fast Food & Ice cream

We came here for the candlelight concert and decided to walk around old town afterwards since it was a nice Winter night. Saw the ice cream shop and came in. I went for a coffee shake and the kids wanted the funnel cake. I was skeptical it'd be worth $20 for the full spread but dang....worth every penny. The owner was super nice and friendly. Brought some extra utensils and was very pleasant to speak with. This will be a frequented spot for us when we come down the hill to old town.

No price on the menus so he prices things as he goes! $7.50 for a scoop of ice cream. Nasty unsanitary kitchen! He prepared a hotdog with bare hand no and washing!!! after he served food and handled money!

Halalz Fast Food & Ice Cream doesn't have its name on the front of the store. They have a sign "Ice Cream" at the front and on the window. I'm here for their ice cream only. The sign on the door said they have Gunther's Ice Cream suck me in! Lol! The gentleman working at the cash register is friendly and has fast service. I have my yummy ice cream as soon as I get to the cash register and pay for it. There was a short line in front of the shop. It only takes a couple of minutes of the wait time. The line is moving fast. They have a big speaker in front of the shop, and we can enjoy our ice creams and listen to music. Some customers dance in front of the store at night!

I came in on New Year's Eve with my brother and from the moment of walking into the doors we were helped right away and greeted with the BEST service ever!!! I shared the funnel cake that had, strawberry ice cream, with whipped cream on top of it. The owner told us he was going to make us the best funnel cake we've ever tasted on the last day of 2023....we were NOT disappointed!! The best service and food was amazing!!

This place has a sign on its door claiming it's "Gunther's Ice cream" I was a little perplexed, as the inside of this place looks like a dirty food truck. So I asked the worker if it was in fact Gunther's ice cream?! He replied "No, but it's better than Gunther's"Ok???? Any place doing false advertising like that is a big no for me

Visited Halalz for ice cream treats yesterday, 4.20.24. My $12 milkshake had the consistency of chocolate milk, and each sip contained ice. That is NOT a milkshake. When the waiter noticed I did not return his thumbs-up, he came back a few minutes later to add a scoop of ice cream, and claimed he only blended in 2 ice cubes. One of the little ones with us threw away her single scoop ice cream cone after eating a bit more than half, because in less than 10 minutes, the ice cream had turned completely to liquid. Can't recommend.

Great service, super friendly and fun staff who gave us extras that were delicious! Go check it out!

Beat lemonade ever! Definitely worth a visit when you're downtown. We had to go back for a second cup!

Fresh Squeezed Lemonade? For this being one of the biggest things advertised out front you would think it would be worth trying. I am not sure if the water used at this establishment is sulphuric or if the particular batch of lemonade was just off but the first sip I took was like taking a huge gulp of salty, sour methane. I hate to leave a bad review on a smaller business, but this is inexcusable. For $8 I was left with nothing but the taste of salty gas.

Drove all the way here for a funnel cake which they don't sell anymore! Just leaving a review so no one else gets mislead and does the same.
