My favorite thing about the seafood city market is Grill City! It's the reason that we visit the market- to buy meals for lunch or dinner. Grill City has such a wide array of different Filipino foods from, pancit, langka, lumpia, bbq, fish, pinakbet, bopis, and now they have the Fresh Lumpia (one of my faves)! The prices are decent too! You can get different entree items separately or you can do a combo. The service is great, everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. Another cool thing is that they have a variety of desserts from sapin-sapin (the different sticky rice desserts) to buko pandan and ube flavored champorado. I haven't seen a Filipino eatery that had this wide of a variety. So I thank the folks at Grill City for serving a kaleidoscope of choices!

First time here. First time trying a fresh lumpia- fresh meaning not fried. It was pretty much a crepe filled with vegetables and peanut dipping sauce. Flavor was lacking but maybe that's how it's supposed to be? I have nothing to compare it to. The best part was the Buko juice which is coconut.

Grill City is inside Seafood City market. It's in the court area where other random shops are before walking into the grocery store.I ordered the buy 4 get 1 deal of only pork skewers. I've ordered the chicken before and always regretted it. The total was $19.56 for 4 (not counting the free one)... $5 each!! And it was cold. I ate it right away but ended up saving it til I got home so that I could reheat it.

Good food. Reminds me of home. I don't know why there's a lot of bad reviewers here but if you are a true filipino you will love the food here.

I come here with my mom to eat breakfast once in a while and usually I get the combo with chicken Tocino rice and two eggs. I put soy sauce over it and it's pretty good. But unfortunately after today I'm not coming back. I saw they were out of chicken Tocino and only had pork. The guy insisted it was chicken and I'm telling him I know it's not, I know what pork and chicken Tocino looks like, I can tell the difference. But he kept dismissing me and said I was wrong. My mom wanted to give the worker the benefit of the doubt and told me maybe they cut it up differently so she bought it anyways. I open it and pull the meat apart and I was right, it was pork. And I do not like making bad reviews but I feel like I had to because I can't eat pork due to a food intolerance, it'll make me really sick. Hence why I go for the chicken option. When I opened my box it looked like they mixed it with chicken but it was overall pork. I'm super disappointed and I know for food safety they're not supposed to be mixing food like that. It may not have been a big deal to him but it was to me because once again, I could get really sick. Seafood city, Please be mindful and consider not mixing your meats next time. Thank you.

Grill City can be found in all the Seafood City store locations that I've ever visited. I'm guessing they may be owned by Seafood City. This Grill City is located in Sacramento, California. All Grill City restaurants are pretty much the same. They offer all kinds of various Filipino food at a reasonable price. We purchased some dried fish to snack on. They make some yummy dried fish that is put into plastic containers. Probably an acquired taste, but I like snacking on them. Did not purchase anything else because it looked like some of the food had been sitting out for quite awhile. Did not appear fresh. In addition, the area was not very sanitary.Service was not very good either. Took awhile to get the staff's attention. I can see why this place has such low reviews lately. The worst Grill City that I have ventured into.

This place has the worst service. It was my turn to be helped and I was telling the lady that I wanted the cebuchon, and she couldn't hear me, so I said it 2 more times. After that I realized that she still couldn't understand what I was saying, I decided to go and point at what I wanted. When I went to go point at the item, she started taking someone else's order!!! I was just so confused as to why she would do that, so I was waving my hand to get her attention but I was ignored. So now another lady comes out from the back and was making eye contact with me putting on a mask. Once she put her mask on, she started taking the order of the person behind me. Like are you f***ing serious??? I was so furious that I just left. I'm over this place. I'm never stepping foot in seafood city or giving my business to any of those stores inside. It's always something when I come here.

I first tried this in San Diego, and saw this spot in Sacramento expecting the same. Boy was I wrong ... First off, the ambiance was noisy (and not in a good way). The machines on the wall across from the restaurant were making tiresome and annoying sounds, making the entire experience unbearable at best. There are tables here to dine at, but I'd recommend taking the food to go. The quality of the food was also meh, tastes fine but cold - didn't even bother to try to heat up the skewers again. Perhaps I'll give it one more try in the future when the grill is fired up, but I doubt it would change the overall experience.

Well, this place is ok to satisfy your filipino silog breakfast dishes. Not great but good over all. I ordered the tocilog combo and it tasted pretty much you would expect of it. Servers were nice and friendly but I notice that the filipino servers were very stingy in giving portions compared to non filipino servers lol. Oh, and they didn't have coffee ready at 8:30 in the morning which was odd.

Craving Congi but settled for arozcaldo. #GrillCity won't provide soy sauce cause they're out. I mentioned this to the manager. He just looked in a bin and never came back. They could've easily bought a big bottle and poured it into a small cup for consumers. I had to buy some in #SeafoodCity myself to have with my meal.
