OMG this place is quite cute and little. It gives that hometown feel with great food. The whole staff is friendly and on top of their tables!!!!First I always order iced tea and sit forever waiting for a refill. Our server brought a carafe with extra when he first brought out the drink. Found this place by searching the internet for breakfast in Placerville!Menu is small but full of flavor. I really don't like the restaurants that have a book for a menu. I have included pictures of the menu.I ordered a build your own omelette and hubby had a country breakfast. Can I just say my compliments to the chef. I NEVER finish my food and I cleared my plate!Seriously, if you are in the area, I encourage you to stop by and have a bite to eat!

Quaint little place that reminds me of a spot I used to go to in the bay area. Staff is very friendly, decor gives off that unique small country breakfast spot vibes. Good coffee, none of that it's been sitting for an hour burning tinge.Country breakfast was very good, I did pepper the living heck out of it, but that's normal for me. Added a side of sausage to mix into the gravy and it added just the right amount of flavor to knock it up that extra notch. The menu is smallish, which is great, some places have menus so large you wonder if the chef knows what is actually going on with everything. Wife had the build your own omelet with crisp hash brown. Haven't seen her eat an entire omelet in years. She cleaned her plate this time. Only thing she left behind was left over ketchup that wasn't used on her hash browns! She was impressed!Really enjoyed this little place that's tucked away in a small shopping center. Again, staff was great, chef did a great job as well. If you're looking for a small business to visit for some eats, this place is a great option!

Greenhouse Cafe embodies all the best things that a local neighborhood cafe offers... tasty food served by the nicest staff. The signature menu items that I absolutely find to be the best around is the turkey club sandwich and eggs benedict. For the sandwich they use real fresh roasted turkey. Ohh that makes a huge taste difference. The bacon is cooked to a perfect crispness, no rare edges and not burnt either. The egg benedict's hollandaise sauce is fantastic. Smooth with a just right consistency and emulsification. Flavorful, buttery with oh so slight lemon taste. The eggs are poached to treat you to a show of egg ooziness when pierced. On days they are short staffed, they tape a sign on the front door indicating that and apologizing for the possible longer service times. In any given day, you'll probably see Claudia, the owner, working. She has a great friendly demeanor.Another thing to note is the bathroom situation. It's located around the corner of the cafe. To access it, you'll need to ask for the key. It's kept clean.

Cute little place in Placerville near Raley's. It's in an older strip mall and has a classic old style diner look. Homey and welcoming. The menu is simple but the breakfast was solid. I had eggs and bacon. I like my bacon a little floppy and it was perfect, as were my poached eggs. My sourdough toast was great - usually I wind up throwing away half my toast but I ate all of it. The bread tasted really fresh. My husband had the breakfast burrito - a generous portion with plenty of avocado on top, which I happily took off his hands. He liked it but thought the inside was dry - could use a little sauce. All in all a nice, welcoming place for breakfast and great service and atmosphere.

Me and my whole family love this place. Great for breakfast and lunch. Our favorites are the eggs Benedict and Grilled Chicken Ranch sandwich. I love how they serve their oatmeal as well with a lot of sides so you can make it yourself. Great potato salad. You really can't go wrong with any item on the menu. The restaurant itself is cute and has homey decor. The staff are all super friendly every time we come. I really can't say enough good things about Greenhouse Cafe. Probably our favorite place in town.

Greenhouse is the very best breakfast and lunch place in Placerville. They have real home cooked food, from scratch. They make their dressings, biscuits, gravy and even sausage in house. They are by Raley's in Placerville, kinda hidden. They also have real roast turkey breast for their sandwiches and my favorite Salad the Cafe' Salad with Fresh Roast Turkey Breast, tomatoes, hard boiled eggs, olives, bacon and cheddar cheese. So good!!!

This is a bright, clean, restaurant with a home-kitchen feel that always serves good, fresh, smoooth! coffee, and abundant portions of whatever delicious food you decide to order--all made with high-quality ingredients. The staff is friendly and efficient. They do take-out, but I find Greenhouse Cafe to be a nice, relaxed place to eat, sip, and read or visit with friends or family. Try their buttermilk pancakes--you won't be sorry! They have a couple of tables outside, which is very nice in good weather.

I gave one star because their French toast is great. We sat for 1 and a half hours before we got our food. They were not in a hurry at all. Their food other than the French toast was very sub par.We wanted to like this place but we won't be back.

This place is incredible. Ordered for a quick bite on the road. We got the club sandwich with onion rings (came with what tasted like homemade ranch) and the gobbler sandwich with either macaroni or potato salad.Food quality is outstanding - fresh and delicious. The service was awesome - so friendly and pleasant. Will probably stop by every time we pass by this place if they are open on future trips.
