Hidden gem! Tasty, cook to order food. Big portions, we used to-go box. Authentic Indian food. Looks family run. Give this place a try,...we hit it up on our way home from the zoo.

My brother was in town and he is vegetarian so we were looking for a place to come for lunch. Was so pleased my brother found this place. The food was so good!! My mom and I got the chicken shahi plate. It was so good my brother had to ask the worker what was in it, since it was not a dish I had seen at other restaurants. She politely explained about the combination of Indian spices and vegetables that made up the base. My brother also got a wonderful dish but frankly I was focused on mine I don't even remember his. In addition my brother and I also both got lemonades. He got a mango mint lemonade and me a blackberry sage lemonade. They were so refreshing and flavorful.The restaurant itself was clean and the seating was that of a lunch spot. We enjoyed this place and I liked it so much I texted my husband so he and I can return soon.

My true rating would be closer to a 4.5 but I bumped it to a 5 instead of a 4 because of how flavorful most everything was and the fast service. I ordered three things: the mixed veggie pakora appetizer, the mushroom burger and a desert I cannot find the name of on the menu here on Yelp nor on restaurant's site. It was some kind of dough type balls in syrup. No one was in the restaurant when I came in and it looked like one of the people that works there was just sitting down to eat. She immediately got back up and got to my to-go order and was kind and gracious. The restaurant looked clean and brightly lit which I like. When I had my food in the car (I was starving ok lol) I had the veggie pakora first. It had a green (chutney maybe?) sauce. Woooowee was that good and flavorful-both the veggies and sauce.The mushroom burger is the only thing I'd take half a star off. It was...not bad but also underwhelming considering the reviews I read specifically about it. My main reasons are because I didn't get enough veggies on it and the patty itself seemed rather bland unfortunately. Maybe it was a one-off. I'm willing to try it again at some point.Now THAT DESERT THOUGH...it was enough to darn near bring a tear to my eye. J/k but for real Im so glad I decided to try it. It may not look like much (small balls of dough in a shallow syrup bath) but geez louise let me tell you!! I NEED MORE. Please come to Roseville soon otherwise I will be using up my gas to get more of that appetizer and desert.

Excellent food!! Spicy but oh my gosh, it is wonderful. The freshest salads that you will ever find. Customer Service is awesome also. I love this place and I've eaten here about three times a week so far. My favorite is the super salad with citrus dressing. Also the chicken Mika Sala. Heavenly. Five stars I love the ambience in house, also

For Mother's Day lunch I wanted to go to Green Grill to have a yummy meal with the family. Green Grill in Granite Bay is pretty new, ample parking and lots of seating options. I ordered the Super Salad with chana patty AND the moong patty on top. Dressing on the side. The best salad I've ever had. Delicious and nutritious. Appetizer, we ordered the cauliflower tempura. Another great option.Kids ordered the Veggie Bell Tacos and enjoyed it very much.My husband ordered the Mushroom Chana Burger and also thought it was a wonderful choice! Overall - I think that whatever you get here - you will enjoy. The employees are very nice - they really make an effort to provide their recommendations. I would say that the place is fast casual, well-cleaned, modern and great for groups small and large. Thank you!

Yum! First off, customer service was really good. I think it was the cashiers first day! And she was really nice and helpful. She sold me on the samosas. I got a burger, samosas and cheesecake. Everything was really good! Delicious sauces!!!!! I am a sauce kinda girl. I think next time I would try the veggie kofta tikka. I had plenty to take home for leftovers!! Small and clean restaurant. Thanks again!

This was our first time and we absolutely loved the fresh ingredients and depth of the flavors...you could tell a lot of love went into the dishes.I had the chickpea curry with the garlic naan...and the veggie and fruit salad with a very refreshing citrus dressing. My husband had chicken breast simmered in a most delicious creamy sauce that you wanted to lick the bowl!!!Our host even let us try a rice dish on the house:)We were so full, we'll have to try their cheesecake and chai teas next time

Great customer service. Super friendly and was happy about that!I am not sure this type of Indian food is for me. Maybe it's more traditional style? I had the mushroom tacos which were deep fried. I knew that part but I could not taste the mushrooms at all. Very deep fried. I only tasted the fried dough...basically. I also shared cauliflower bites which had the same fried dough. Tasted the same. I would like to go back and try the mushroom burger but I would not eat any of the fried stuff.

The food was excellent. Quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. The crispy cauliflower appetizer was excellent. The butter chicken came out steaming hot. Even the French fries were perfectly fried. The service was good. I liked the casual dining. The restaurant is clean, has natural lighting and plants.
