Laud back chill bar that offers incredible food and craft with friendly service
Chicken Breast Gyro Platter. Not good it was microwaved and the chicken was raw. And the other food was frozen and burnet.

Nope nope nope. Food was heated up via a microwave. I don't understand all reviews. Import from where? The beer was average, just stuff you can get at the market. Pita bread, may be from Costco. Rice pilaf was just rice. Tzatziki was sour cream, I believe. Hummus was probably from the super market. I'm a fan of Greek food but this was an insult to my palate.

Fresh, authentic, tasty Greek food! Host/ Bartender Kostas makes this a fun, new "destination" in Sacramento. This place helps fill the void left when the Greek restaurant in University Village closed! Great food, superb beer selection & very reasonable prices! And live music often on Thursday...Kostas' pub & restaurant feels like the bar in "Cheers", where everybody knows your name. Come support this solid Sacramento restaurant & bar!

First off, this is an amazing place. A gem indeed. This is actual cooking, a singular enterprise by one owner, and that certainly deserves respect in a town whose food scene is being regularly bought out by investors that treat their businesses as just that, an investment, and not an addition to the neighborhood & culture. Yes, it is a small place, and in a nook which really only immediate locals usually end up at, easy to miss. But also simply perfect when you'd like to feel less-than-bombarded in a town with half a million people where much of the homey-ness is missing. It has a familiar ambiance that also feels well-traveled, with a nautical feel. The service is on point! The owner is super friendly & generous. It is never awkward to pick up to go here. My only alternative input would be to get more sustainable containers for to-go purposes.Enough about the place, more about the food, which is a welcome and unique style in the Sacramento Greek food scenery. The options are simple, ample, and easily suited to different dietary needs & preferences (gluten-free, vegetarian, no cheese for vegan). The go-to for my friends is the Lamb Gyro, which is truly deserving of the term Gigantic. The proportions of filling are not finely cut or chopped, adding to the hugeness of the gyro, which is more like an entire pita bread with at least 1-2 cucumbers and a huge portion of perfectly marinated protein. Being vegan, I enjoyed the dolmathes, hummus, beans, & of course the massive pillowy pita bread, which is insanely better than the kind I've found at the store, it's super fresh.Definately if you're in the area & passing by, try it out. Just check the hours first!

Second time visiting this establishment. Owner was very welcoming it felt like home. They made me a tri tip gyro which had not been done before here. It was the Bomb! I hope they keep it on the menu. If not the lamb is a delicious option as well.

Delicious gyros can be found here at Greek Food Imports! I did not know this place existed until recently. The person working, who I believe is the owner, was so warm, welcoming, and friendly. While they do have other food options, my review focuses solely on the gyros. There are four options for gyros: lamb, vegetarian, pork, and chicken. We ordered the vegetarian and chicken. They were both so good! I honestly could've probably ate both of them myself. Yes, I thought they were THAT good. The veggie gyro was so fresh, and the chicken gyro had such a great combination of flavors; I was pleasantly surprised by the sweet flavor from the pieces of orange. Greek Imports has a nice indoor cafe/shop with a good sized patio area right outside. Highly recommend stopping by when you're in the Arden area.

Been wanting to try their gyros for quite a while and saw there was a Groupon! Got the Groupon for 2 gyros (lamb not included) for about $13 which is pretty much BOGO. I ordered the chicken and the gyro itself was different from other gyros that I've tried, in a good way!! It was not too saucy and had feta cheese, walnuts, and some sort of fruit in it which was a great addition. It was pretty yummy! My bf and I both enjoyed the gyros. We also ordered a cheesecake and that was super delicious! Nice and creamy.
