Bought a fake mana crypt for 330, be careful buying expensive cards however the Sacramento location helped me get the store credit back. Never had an issue here besides that

Came here in search of Lorcana cards while visiting family because they were one of the few places actually selling them in norcal! I got my cards, but more than that, I met some of the nicest people that were staff regulars, including the owner. What was supposed to be a quick errand trip turned into a multi-hour conversation, and I don't think I've met a more passionate group of people who enjoy what they do and sharing their love of all things tabletop gaming. I didn't get to go back before I went home, but I hope I can stop by again sometime soon!

Great local game shop. Good selection of TCGs, RPGs and board games. Store has room for community play sessions. Friendly staff. Great to have a local hobby shop!

Recently the GF and I got into card games, we hunt high and low for games stores but of course they're pretty much a rarity. I was going to be in that part of town and thought I'd look to see if there was one. Lo and behold I found this place where the old off campus bookstore, across from Sierra college, used to be. The space is pretty large, with several tables for (I THINK 6 or 8), there were 2 games going when I stopped in. Large selection of games, the usual Warhammer and Magic of course, plus quite a selection of other games (including my new favorite Arkham Horror). Booster packs, gaming accessories and a very knowledgeable staff round out the offerings. This is a satellite location, from the main store in Sac, from what I was told. They also have a loyalty club, though I'm not sure what the benefit is, so not going to comment on that.

Staff is friendly, clean store, happy to have a game store closer to home. Prices are a little high for some items. Decent amount of gaming tables and inventory for just opening

This shop has it all. A great selection of table top games, and amazing staff who are very knowledgeable. The manager Paige is very friendly and was able to answer all the questions I had. I'll continue to be a returning customer!

They are so friendly here and they helped me find things other stores can't. One time I was disappointed I reserved and item with another game stored and it wasn't going to show up (distributor problems). Then the day the item arrived I get a call from Great Escape Games and they said they held one for me!!! They said, "hey I remember you showed interest in this item and we got a few in stock and can hold one for you just in case. No pressure, if you don't want it or got it somewhere else we can put it back out." I was stunned. Sure enough I picked it up from them. That's above and beyond service.

They set me up with what supplies I needed while being careful to suggest not any or most expensive products to help keep costs manageable since just starting out.I went on a Wednesday which is there Warhammer Day and I got to meet a lot of fellow Players who where keen to have me pull up a chair and watch them while their pitted there colorful and Unique Armies against each other. This shop is clean smells nice and the staff are friendly. The ambiance is tavern like and their stock is amazing. They also have a Flag ship store in Arden area of Sacramento!

I have always been a fan of great escape but I've got to give them props ! Alex over there is great when it comes to customer service ! If you're looking for a good shop a nice selection of products at a good value go check out great escape ! Thanks for the good experience they aren't all built like you !
