My party of 5 and I arrived around 5pm on a Wednesday and it was pretty empty but people starting coming in slowly. The inside was super niceeeee and spacious and decorated super nicely. We were greeted warmly by the owner and he was kind and took his time to explain to us how everything worked and where everything was since it was our first time there and came back often to ask if we had any questions or needed any help!It is an all you can eat hotpot AND drinks which is pretty damn cool. There is an entire fridge of different drinks that are included in the AYCE you can choose from including soy milk, chrysanthemum tea, and grass jelly drink and so much more and sake and beer also come with the AYCE as well! The menu comes with such a large variety of options and includes a ton of appetizers too! Everything was soooo good! My favorite meat choice was the lamb shoulder and fatty beef (toro) and my favorite appetizer was hands down the honey shrimp! There is also a ice cream machine in the back which multiple choices to choose from so definitely make your way back there to check it out! The workers were suupper attentive, they picked up the empty plates so quickly and I dropped one of my chopsticks and they replaced it within seconds lol Such great service and they were not only attentive to my table but to everyone else's too. My whole family and I looooved it here and we will all definitely be coming backkkk!

Grand Hotpot Lounge... with a name like that, it has a lot to live up to, and after visiting so many times, it surely has been nothing short of just that (if you can look past the not-so-grand parking lot). The restaurant is always clean and up-to-date, with a large karaoke room at the entrance to accommodate private events and parties, a main room with plenty of tables to diminish wait times, and several private and modern karaoke rooms in the back with their own hotpot stations and full control of the lighting to set the mood to match the occasion. The sauce bar has a homey feel to it, where guests have the option of pouring their own soy sauces, etc... out of the same types of bottles they could find in their own homes. The honey walnut prawns are amazing. They are large, juicy in the inside and somewhat crispy on the outside, pretty much cooked to perfection and ready to eat. An excellent appetizer as you wait for your uncooked food to boil. The drink station is amazing. Help yourself to anything you see in the refrigerator. It's all you can drink, which includes beers and wines (which you will have to order).All-in-all, all-you-can-eat, all-you-can-drink, and all five stars well-earned.

Outside is pretty hood, but once you step inside you forget you're in the hood. It's very modern with the pretty lights on the ceilings. I love that the tables are large and spacious, because you will be filling up the table with the insane amount of items you can order. This is definitely a great place for super large parties. You can eat, drink, and do kareoke! They have maybe 5-6 rooms you can book with the largest one we've seen; we think it can fit at least 50 people! They have quite a variety of dishes to choose from. It's different because they give you a paper menu and a pen and you check mark the items you want. They come out with almost everything at the same time. We didn't have to wait long. You pick your sauces at the front and self serve your rice, ice cream, and beverages. I think it's awesome that the beverages are unlimited and they have a variety! You just can't take any drinks to go, even if it's opened already. It's $5 for any extra food wasted. This is the most meat I've seen a hot pot restaurant serve at once on a single plate! I love the variety of appetizers and different sorts of vegetables you can choose from! The staff were really friendly and attentive. They were kind enough to steam some broccoli for my 9 month old son as well. We will definitely be returning!

I'm a big fan of hotpot and shabu so this place has been on my bookmarks. We came on a weekday night so it wasn't too crowded at all. The ordering system is all done through a paper sheet that you fill out and hand to your server. Drinks and ice cream are included too and those are all self-serve. They have a pretty good selection of drinks too, more than your standard sodas and water! They also have a sauce bar so you can put together your own sauces. Our first order came out all wrong so that was not a great start. They gave us a bunch of things we didn't order, and then forgot a bunch of other things. She gave us what she could and then just told us to do another new order for whatever else we were missing. We came at dinner which has a pretty good selection of extra items only available at dinner but overall the only thing I actually liked from that list was the ribeye steak slices. If you like to drink, beer and wine was included at dinner price also (the lunch vs dinner price is a $10 difference at $25 and $35). They have a pretty good selection of broth options. I was most excited about tom yum since that's always my go to. Unfortunately this wasn't a typical traditional tom yum flavor though, and was so salty and had more of the sichuan spices and flavors to it. I wasn't a fan at all. Luckily the tonkotsu on the other side was much better in comparison. The beef options were all good and I liked the fish roe ball. The sesame balls were also nice and crispy on the outside. They have a few noodle options so I got udon but the portion for the noodles is way too big so we couldn't finish all of the ramen and udon we had. They had several ice cream flavors and they were all self serve but I was not a fan of the black sesame at all- it did not taste like black sesame and I couldn't even explain it. Service was nothing memorable, I don't think I heard them say more than a few sentences. Overall I was stuffed and got my money's worth but I probably won't return. I prefer Japanese style shabu broths more and wouldn't drive out here to this part of town again.

Went for a birthday party. They were overwhelmed at first and it took awhile for them to take our orders but eventually the food started rolling out. They initially just brought out some random broths for each group of 3-4 people/corner of our table but not necessarily what we wanted to order. Our table also ordered a variety of foods but did not receive everything we ordered and received a bunch of food other tables ordered. We tried re ordering a few of the foods we wanted but it never arrived. Eventually, we got full from everything else so it worked out ok. The spicy broth was more of a numbing spicy flavor but not necessarily spicy. The tonkotsu broth was good as well as the Tom yum which was a favorite! With as large as a party as we had, they needed more staff to help manage it but overall, it is a decent value for the cost, it's clean and modern.

This place is located on 24th and Florin right next to a Bingo Hall in South Sacramento. It's not registered on the Tesla Navi yet, so you'll have to gps it on Apple Maps or Google. They have a huge variety of food and drinks for hotpot. It's all you can eat and drink (alcohol and non-alcohol are all canned). Current prices are listed on my photos (December 2024). Food was decently priced and the restaurant was nice and clean. It has modern and sleek decor. We had a party of 9 and only 2 out of 3 of the kids ate. We had 3 couples and had 3 different burners to share two different broth selections. My husband and I chose the TOMATO AND TONKATSU SOUP BROTHS.My favorites were the following:FRIED BEAN CURD ROLLSPRIME BEEF SLICESFISH ROE BALLSWATERCRESSENOKI MUSHROOMSSUGAR PEA SPROUTSKING OYSTER MUSHROOMSCORNJAPANESE BAMBOONAPA CABBAGESPINACHJAPANESE STYLE CRYSTAL NOODLESQUAIL EGGSRIBEYE STEAK SLICESAppetizers:FRIED TOFUHONEY GLAZED PRAWNSGREEN ONION PANCAKESWEET & SOUR FISH FILETSCRAB MEAT RANGOONSThe only thing I didn't like is that we all didn't want to eat a lot of what everyone else ate at the table, so the portions were for every single person for one sheet of paper. We wish the lady would've allowed each couple to order their own portion of items, instead of splitting the entire thing amongst 9 others. THERE WAS A LOT OF WASTE DOING IT THIS WAY and the lady seemed very, very upset that we had 3 different sheets to mark our own broths and our own ingredients. LOL! Didn't make any sense at all. Other than that, I would definitely return, but would only come back to eat with a smaller group or just my husband.

Grand Hotpot Lounge is my husband and I's current favorite spot for hotpot. Every family member we've brought to Grand Hotpot Lounge has loved it as well. It's located in the same plaza as Rice Bowl used to be. The plaza itself is fairly dingy looking, but there's plenty of parking and still feels relatively safe. You can call in for reservations, but it has never been overly busy each time we've gone for lunch or dinner.Despite it not being crowded, the food and service is great. Love the huge menu, selection of delicious drinks, and the sauce bar. The self-serve ice cream is always a hit.Be careful over-ordering as they serve the items based on how many people are at the table! We made that mistake during our first visit.Birthday person can eat free day of if there's a party of four or more, so it's a great spot to celebrate with family.
