Family dinner and first time here. Wife wanted to try it and we're glad we did. The seafood selection was awesome! All the kids enjoyed the variety. We're generally weary of buffets but this one did not disappoint. Plenty of options for every person. The place was clean and the decor fit the atmosphere. There was plenty of room to maneuver as well throughout. I've been at places that cram you in and it can get dicey with a full plate of food. The staff were really nice and helpful. Our waitress was constantly coming around picking up empty plates and checking drinks. Coming back for sure. Lastly, the value for the price is amazing.

The one star is for the broccoli beef and chow mein, which weren't bad. This place gives ghetto, you wouldn't guess it because of the area and it actually looks nice on the outside. It doesn't seem very sanitary, the section we sat at you have to cross in front of the bathrooms to get back to your seat, I hated that. I just smelled the bathroom freshener every time I passed with a plate it was gross. We came for AYCE Crab legs and as sad as this is to say, it just wasn't worth it... not even for the 25 dollars. They don't steam them well so they're inconsistently cooked some cold some warm but none that are HOT. It seems so steamy and hot when you serve yourself but as soon as you sit you then realize how cold everything is. It's tasteless musty and just seems like they pickup in there and not really sanitize or clean properly. We will positively NOT be back

Not perfect, but every one in a while when in the mood for snow crab legs, crawdads, some grilled pork chops and random Chinese food, it's fun to come to. Cleanliness is good. Could try a little harder on the sushi side of things and maybe tasting the fruit sweetness before buying (don't need to touch the desserts unfortunately... that could be improved place lot ... I don't think anyone eats those fake dry cake bite thingys), but for the most part when looking to and have picky kids... it's worth a visit every few months or so.Oh, take out per pound used to be a little more affordable, unfortunately. Not so worth it any more.

Eureka! We found our go to local buffet that serves snow crab legs for dinner and all day for holidays! For me, this is an AYCE buffet - not a fine dining restaurant with specialties and superior customer service. I'm here to eat, satisfy my inner McFatty, and leave happy with a food coma. That's exactly what we experienced when we finally decided to give this spot a try. Don't let the low ratings deter you from trying Golden Koi Buffet - everyone has their own personal preferences! The food was hot, excellent, delicious, and fulfilling. We especially loved their snow crab legs, freshly grilled mackerel and oysters topped off with tons of garlic sauce (just thinking about it is making my mouth water), wide selection of food, and awesome option to either have soft serve ice cream in-house or small ice cream cups to go! We were so pleased to see that we didn't have to wait long for crab legs refills... they were way more prompt with refills compared to many other buffets we've experienced! Fried rice had excellent texture (not dry), sushi selection is limited but is certainly enough to satisfy your cravings. Crab legs were a tad on the salty side, so try to even it out with their melted butter and slather it with a squeeze of lemon. They can provide crab leg crackers upon request. For the freshly grilled food section (e.g., raw oysters, raw mackerel, raw beef, noodles, etc.), just plop your food on a place and place it next to the grilling section out in the open. For the oysters, chef will automatically top them off with a scoop of minced garlic. Pure deliciousness! Stick around a bit to make sure the chef acknowledges your plate and places it on the grill. No need to wait - chef will ring a bell when food items are done so you can walk around to gather more scrumptious food or even sit at your table for a few minutes before checking again.Plenty of parking out front, spacious tables and seating arrangements, clean bathrooms and serving stations, cozy and comfortable ambiance for gatherings with friend and family or solo of course, and, although we don't expect superior customer service at buffets, we were quite surprised with their friendly and attentive staff. Coming from a recent SoCal resident now permanent in Roseville, this was a pleasant adjustment.$24.99 for dinner. Kids 5 and below (or below 5? Don't quote me on this) are free, including their drinks. Just be sure to check your receipt for accuracy as we identified 5 lemonades charged but truly only ordered 1 lemonade drink for an adult (lemonade for our toddlers but again - free food and drinks for 5 and below!).We compared this to the buffet out in Folsom (and our favorite one down in SoCal) and, thankfully, this one was more to our liking and much closer to Blue Oaks area. Overall, we're extremely grateful this buffet is close to home and has everything we were hoping to find at a local Asian buffet! Highly recommended for patrons near and far. Photos don't do this location justice - food is absolutely delicious and we're definitely regulars now.

I used to think this was one of the best Chinese buffets I've been to. Then I hear, (saw on Yelp) that they added ROAST DUCK to the buffet and kept the price at $15.99 for lunch. Holy moly, that was gonna be a great deal, no other buffets ever offer roast duck, except in Vegas for a $80 buffet. I got myself down here on my next trip to Rocklin, and tried the new roast duck. I guess I maybe had over estimated the duck, thinking it would be just like the nice ducks you see hanging in the windows in a Chinatown. Sorry to say the duck was a disappointment cause it was just OK, not as bad as some Chinese restaurants that serve duck that's reheated cause they don't serve much duck if they're not in Chinatown somewhere. This duck was better than that, but was missing seasoning that makes it taste like Chinese roast duck, I think it's star anise and five spice that was missing. It just tasted like duck, but bland. I just couldn't get excited over it like I was hoping. The skin wasn't crispy either. Oh well, so much for the new roast duck.On the other hand, the Chinese style pork ribs were fabulous as usual as were the chicken wings. I do like many of the other fried varieties that they offer here so the trip wasn't a total waste, but I was so excited to get all you can eat roast duck, but it wasn't to be. I did get my fill of the ribs though.

The service is very good. It's a standard Chinese buffet with decent food. Nothing bad to note but also nothing outstanding

If you're craving AYCE snow crab legs for $25/person this is a good place to get them! They also have a small selection of fried foods, stir fry's, Chinese style soups, fruit, assorted desserts, made to order chow mein (similar to most Mongolian bbqs) and sushi rolls. Located 5 minutes away from Topgolf. Plenty of parking and nearby shopping plazas. No wait times. Attentive service.

I have been there several times and have given it a 5-star review, up to today.Today it was horrible. There was a table of screaming kids, and they were running around the restaurant, knocking into people and knocking things over. That was totally inappropriate behavior for any restaurant. The manager should have said something. Dome something, for the benefit of the other guests there.I could not enjoy my meal, complaining to the waitress when I left, and probably will never go back. Inexcusable.
