Gold Miner Cafe is a classic diner with absolutely delicious food. The servers have always been friendly, and the food comes out pretty quickly, even when the restaurant is crowded. They have a large menu with plenty of classic breakfast items (omelets, eggs benedict, french toast, pancakes, sausage, bacon, coffee, etc). Each item has a "classic" version as well as some fancy versions. For example, you could order a plain omelet or a fancier one with lots of vegetables, avocado, and salsa. Pretty much every meal comes with a side of a biscuit with jam, hash browns, and/or potatoes. I definitely recommend trying their biscuits and potatoes. They are amazing!! The biscuit is a little dry, so the jam helps. The hash browns are just okay- they are kind of bland and oily for my preference. They give a LOT of food. It's definitely enough to split a meal between two people, or order two meals for three people. It does get very crowded, especially on weekends. Making a reservation here is definitely a good idea.Also, what a cute place! I love how this cafe is decorated with murals of Folsom's history, lots of pictures, and other old-timey things.

Delicious breakfast spot!! The omelettes are a must try here! There's ample parking and the service we've had is always great. There's indoor seating available and to go. It is a bit on the pricy side for a breakfast spot though.

There's cute local decor and it has a comfortable, homey feelingWhat we ordered:Vegetarian breakfast burrito-- this was delicious! This place has a whole section of the menu for Vegetarian options which is so nice, especially for a breakfast spot that tend to be very meat forward. This burrito was a huge serving of egg, onion, bell pepper, avocado, tomato, pepper jack cheese, salsa & sourcream. It was also served with crispy hashbrowns. Grandma's Biscuits with Sausage Gravy-- my boyfriend had this and said it was great- flavorful and richOverall this place is cute, local, and a great spot for breakfast!

We visited on Sunday around noon for family brunch. We were seated immediately in the booth. The restaurant was full but the service was fast.- kids Mickey mouse pancake & bacon: delicious and generous portion. The pancake was huge! It was fluffy and tasty. The bacon strips were super crispy- Agnes' homemade corn beef hash with hash brown: just okay. The eggs were cooked to our request (stillhad runny yolks). The hash brown was just okay - I wish they were more crispy. The corn beef hash was okay - lack of seasoning.

Thanks Yelp! for helping me find this cafe for breakfast. The establishment is locally owned and operated since 1994. I'd noticed it before and this was my first time. I was impressed with the many regular customers eating around 1130 am on a Friday. The place looks a bit dated but I'm ok with that. The service was excellent. My country fried steak tasted fine but the breading came off easily. The hash browns, over easy eggs, and pancakes were well prepared and very comforting. I was unable to finish the ample food provided.

We order from them Doordash a lot. The breakfasts are good and will fill you up. We like the eggs benedict and the pancakes with bacon, eggs, sausage June meal. There are a lot of different options and you can't go wrong if your looking for a good breakfast.

This is a little hole in the wall, but a very busy diner.We went for breakfast and that seems to be their specialty. They have menu items named after specific people. I wonder if there are stories behind them?It was busy, but we were seated right away. Service was excellent. The food was decent. So many choices, which I really appreciated. Definitely will try the huevos rancheros next time!

Wow is the first word that comes to my experience. Jill was our server and has been working here for 25 years. She knew everything and what I could and couldn't do. She even offered to get my butter from the back to ensure I was safe. The GF French toast was out of this world, especially with the homemade raspberry jam. Can't wait to come back!

This is a great looking place. The ambience is very nice. I love all the murals so much to look at everything is so clean. Everything you order is enormous. I had the eggs, Benedict and hashbrowns and it was good. My friend had one biscuit and gravy, It was enormous. I'm not a real fan, but he thought it was good. He also ordered the chicken fried steak with home fries. I tried a potato and it just seemed like a boiled potato not much flavor there. Our server was absolutely fantastic. She was on top of everybody's. order...she was friendly, energetic, and extra nice even though she was extremely busy....another fiend had French toast & he loved it.... I plan on visiting again at this all American cuisine restaurant.
