Tried dim sum here for the first time today. Gold Coast Cuisine is located right next to SF Supermarket. We arrived ~12:30p on a Thursday and there were maybe 3 other tables occupied so it was not too busy. There was 3 or 4 servers/staff on the floor. They were pleasant and attentive when interacting with them though I had to wave them down when we needed something. The restaurant was well kept and clean with pleasant decor. Apparently they have karaoke rooms available as well. The dim sum menu is a bit limited and selections are made off a paper list. The server said they prep things as they are ordered in the back. We got ha gow, siu mai, chicken feet, duck/taro pastry, meatballs, and shrimp tempura cheong fun. The presentation of the dishes were very nice. They put in a bit more effort than the traditional local dim sum places in the area decorating the dishes with a bit of broccoli, fish roe and peanuts which was a pleasant surprise. Taste wise, the cheong fun and chicken feet were the best of the bunch. The shrimp was battered with super fluffy crunchy coating and noodle had good texture. The chicken feet was very nicely prepared and tasty presented on some peanuts. The ha gow, siu mai were good but a little bit bland. The meatballs were light on meat flavor and had a more glutinous texture than normal. The duck/taro pastry was intriguing to try. It was presented like taro or daikon cake in slices and fried. There was a taro shreds with a bit of duck mixed in. It was okay in taste. I think it needed a dip or sauce to go with it. Overall not too bad. I would try this place again to try other dishes.

We came here for our cousins birthday and had a private room in the back (this was my first time here and did not know this place existed). My family knows a lot of the Chinese restaurants in the sacramento area so this was normal to me. We had 2 big tables and pre-ordered 13 dishes for both. The food came out hot and was really tasty. We got the whole small pig, peking duck, beef stew claypot, noodles, spicy crab, soysauce chicken, green beans, tofu bokchoy, salted egg pumpkin, crispy porkchop, ginger steamed chicken, clay and clear noodles and some other dishes. Food came out quick. We enjoyed all the dishes esp the piggyand peking duck.

My mom heard from her friends this place was bussin' for peking duck, so we finally had a chance to give it a try. The hype is real, the peking duck was excellente. Skin was nice and crispy and the buns were fine and dandy. Walking into the restaurant you are greeted by a cool waterfall wall with pond, which immediately helps you feel welcome and relaxed. The decor is modern and refreshing. It definitely had a new restaurant vibe. I went to look for the restroom and it was farther away than I expected, the restaurant is actually huge, with a bunch of VIP dining rooms between the main room and the restrooms. If my entire family visited Sac I definitely would book one of these rooms for a nice private dinner. If you are there for the peking duck, definitely get the $90 meal deal. You get the duck with buns, a choice of whole chicken, and two more dishes. The duck and chicken a la carte would cost you this much, so basically you get two bonus dishes. The empress chicken was one of the best in town I've had. The other dishes were very good as well, so overall this place serves up some fine chinese cuisine. The deal comes with the house soup also, which is usually very basic. It was not salted enough so turned out rather bland and I didn't feel like asking for salt. It also comes with a dessert red bean soup, which unfortunately was also kind of bland, and I didn't want to ask for sugar. Since these are side course, I was not disappointed, it was all good overall.Service was pretty good and they have this jolly musical robot that helps them bring out the food. Every time it rolled out I felt like bopping up and down in my chair and it made the atmosphere super goofy and fun.We are definitely adding this place to our short list of authentic chinese restaurants.

Pretty good chinese cuisine!Inside it is nicely decorated, nicely renovated with even a live waterfall. Tables and floor are clean. Chairs wrapped in gold colored cloths. Overall a nice interiorFood quality is pretty good. The beef steak tasted really tender, which means it was probably a high quality cut. The portions are also pretty big.Price is a bit on the high side, but it seems like that is the industry segment they are going for.Staff are pretty friendly. There are also Karaoke rooms in the back if you want to host a private party.Overall a good place to go for quality chinese food!

Is pretty decent Cantonese food in the sac area. They have dimsum and set chinese dinner! Very clean environment and great services. Since they are pretty new so they also ask for feedback to improve their food quality! With the improvement I suggested I think they should be pretty good. Since they are new so they steam the dimsum as you order, so it's pretty fresh

Gold Coast Cuisine in Sacramento is a hidden gem for authentic Chinese food! The menu has a wide selection of traditional Chinese dishes, and everything I tried was exceptional. My favorite was the Peking Duck, which was crispy and flavorful, with tender meat that just melted in your mouth. The staff was also polite and attentive, making sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, with simple yet elegant decor. The setting feels authentically Chinese, adding to the overall experience. If you're in Sacramento and craving authentic Chinese cuisine, Gold Coast Cuisine is definitely worth a visit.

The ROASTED DUCK! IS ONE I have to say is delicious. The first couple of times I've been here I was told the duck was delicious and I had it 3 times before it was crispy the way I'd like it. It's a go to place doe my family. I can definitely say I know I'll be back. Their Peking pork is a childhood favorite and this place does it right. Their stir-fry lotus root, clay pot with oysters, and many other dishes are delicious.

I ordered chicken chowmein and beef broccoli it came to $35. I don't know what they gave me. The chowmein is not the fat noodles you normally get with chowmein instead they gave me angel hair pasta and 8 small peices of chicken. The "broccoli beef" is basically just these stalks with these leaves on it and these teeny tiny crowns. No flavor on either of the dishes and the meat on both dishes was over cooked. When I called and complained the woman that answered barely spoke any English and told.me they were closed even though it says everywhere they are open until 1am. I asked if I could bring it back for a refund and she said tomorrow we are closed. I am so disappointed it's not even funny. I do NOT recommend this restaurant.

Service is terrible, food is not very impress me, come in to try the dim sum with my sister, we have 3 adult and 3 kids. Wave for more than 5 mins for service. Place an to go order right after we finish our food, need to ask for it, it was siting on the front counter more than 20 min, wasn't delivered to our table. After all charge for service fee for 18%. I wil never go back. Terrible experience
