I'm probably a bit biased because this park holds alot of sentimental value. I played competitive soccer there, partied there as a teenager, met my husband of 17 years at the baseball fields and watched both of my sons now 24 and 16 win TOCs and play on the all star team for College Glen Little League. Oh I forgot to mention one other highlight I met and got a photograph with the Mayor Darrell Steinberg at the league's 50th anniversary earlier this year. So you see, this park means a lot to me and holds a special place in my heart. Check it out, it's got a dog park, playground where you can host a birthday party or get together, a tennis court, soccer and baseball fields (which are the best kept little league fields in Sacramento in my opinion). It's also right across the street from the river access between Watt Avenue and Howe Avenue. So much to offer, maybe you can make a memory too.

This is my neighborhood park. We walk here often and it is a pretty popular park, but I've never seen it overcrowded. They have tennis courts, 2 playgrounds (one for smaller kids), a couple of different size baseball fields, and a couple of dog parks. I'd say the park is pretty well maintained. The baseball fields are gated off for players to practice or have their games, and there seems to be a lot of parking spaces when games are held. They do have a "public" baseball field where it is not as nice as the gated ones, but it extends far where they seems to have soccer on the same field adjacent to the dog parks. Near the playgrounds they have a huge size gazebo where you can host some parties for. There are plenty of trees that provide shade.I do noticed that the bathrooms (2), have been down for maintenance for a few months now. I'm not sure when they will open those back up again. Overall, a nice family friendly park for all to enjoy.

Driving along La Rivera Drive we happen to come across this park with 2 very cool at structures. Parking is mostly on the street. The first structure was a pirate ship and the second on was a castle. Both offer multiple slide & climbing types for younger and older kids. My granddaughter had a blast climbing, sliding and running around all the different options around the play area. On the castle structure the tall spiral slide is blocked off as the bottom of the slide is broken. But There are two other slides available on the castle structure. The park was clean not too much debris like trash. Playground is alittle faded but what do you expect being in the sun. The park offers 2 infant swings and 4 regular swings. They also have a small merry-go around, I have not seen one of these for years. My granddaughter didn't go on it this time as she is alittle small and a few other young girls was playing in it. Maybe next time. The park has multiple baseball fields, tennis courts, and a large & small dog park. The do have a bathroom (that is closed at this time), a few picnic tables and BBQ's. My granddaughter approved of this park and said she can't wait to come back again. Maybe next time we will bring a picnic lunch. We wore our face masks, sanitized our hands often and social distance from the others in the park. As the other people were not wearing masks.

Great park!! I drive by all the time but never had the opportunity to visit. Took my toddler for the first time and love that that have a tiny tots area for little ones. Any playground that is also surrounded by large grassy areas are a hit for us.
