They have done a great job of upgrading facilities. Bathrooms NEED to be cleaned better. But desk staff is great and know their clients by name.

For being the, "best gym in Yolo county", get fit Davis seriously is nothing but underwhelming. They charge a hefty price of $70 a month for non-Davis affiliated for a gym where there's absolutely no upkeep. The gym is unique in terms of the layout and structure, however, that does not compensate for the neglect that the owners have with the place. The fans are very high powered, but you can't really feel the air due to lack of cleaning and the amount of dust that has accumulated from the months or years of not cleaning them. Toilets are consistently breaking so there are times where there will be one stall available for a full gym and takes almost 2 weeks to fix at a time. paper towels in the bathroom have always been lacking as well. The roof is also caving in due to water leaks in the cardio room, which is very hazardous and the consistently have to move machines around to avoid someone getting seriously injured. Their yoga mats look like they have never been changed before and they are the point where they mostly torn and disgusting.Overall, for the price, you are paying for a gym that is neglected by owners who refused to keep up and do minimum work in order to have as much as possible I would highly not recommend this gym to anyone whatsoever.Don't believe me? I liked this gym since they seem to be complete having a pool and other amenities. However, they do not maintain the cleanliness of the gym. The machines have dust and they don't vacuum often either. Their bathrooms are cleaned just ok. Their customer service was ok although because they have young people sometimes you're greeted but most of the time you're not. For the monthly price I expected a better maintenance of the gym.

Staff are difficult to work with (unless you are buying a membership), management is not customer focused, and one popular group class instructor uses shaming and fear throughout class - I got called out in front of the class multiple times for doing modifications because of pain or because I wasn't feeling my best.Parking sucks. My friend was blocked in twice by someone who parked too close to them, and staff wouldn't help. They had to sit and wait for the other person to be done with the gym and leave.

Not the greatest gym. Needs a lot of updating and had two of my first few classes cancelled. Aerobics classes were okay.Staff was really friendly.

I don't understand the bad reviews.Great selection of equipment, nice pools, interesting building. Parking is very limited, but otherwise, I've got no complaints.

Unfortunately Davis has a serious lack of good exercise facilities outside the university. Get Fit Davis has some good features. Nice to have a pool and warm pool along with a gym, and the staff has been friendly. But the owner is obviously just milking the facility and doesn't care about upkeep. Many of the controls on elliptical machines don't work; the Nautilus machines are ancient and creaky, carpets and ceilings need to be replaced, and the whole place needs a deep cleaning, painting, and better lighting. It'd probably be best just to knock the old funky building down and rebuild, but that's probably asking a bit much. Numerous complaints to the staff have produced no change. Very sad that Davis doesn't have something better.

Spiders in the locker room. Trash left on the floor for days at a time. It's very clear the current owners inherited it, because they know 0 about business. The GM literally told me, "I don't go into the male locker room because I hear it's dirty." THATS CORRECT. So go in after hours. Go in when the cleaners are there. But you never go in (and it's so disgusting) only shows me you don't know how to run a biz. To be fair, the childcare is VERY GOOD. But the facilities are disgusting. But again to be fair, it is the best gym in Davis. But definitely not the cleanest.

Old, dark, and smells bad. Overpriced for what it offers. I wish they could get some natural light or windows for any of the spaces, and some fresh air/circulation.

Filthy. Disgusting. Malodorous smell. Garbage cans full of trash. Towel dispensers empty. Out of order signs often taped to weight machines and other equipment. Trip hazards. Lap pool cold, dirty & lights broken. Pool deck covered with pine needles. Zero response to complaints by management.
