Crap is an understatement. I had 2 year old girl, 4 year old boy and a 6 year old boy here. First problem was the way my 2 year olds teacher would communicate. I dont know if that woman had a learning disability or if she just didnt like my kid but calling me multiple times when Im at work to tell me "your daughters not listening and trying to run outside can you come pick her up?" No I cant, I work so you people can get paid, do these teachers not know how to redirect a 2 YEAR OLD and keep them from running out the door? Its pretty simple, ive been doing it for years and im not even trained with kids. After that incident they told me she couldnt come back for 3 days. The day we brought her back she bit someone and they immediately kicked her out. Every preschool and daycare ive talked to since then told me they were wrong for doing that and shouldve handled it differently. I only wanted to bring my child here because she was familiar with a teacher from another daycare that recently started working there. 2nd problem, my children stopped going there in october of 2022 and this daycare was sending attendance forms to child action for november and december. My children were not going there at that time. So they were trying to get extra money from the county for my children that no longer attended that daycare. Idk if this was a racial thing or what but whatever it was, was a mistake because ive lived in Rancho my whole life, I know alot of people out here and I will always tell anyone with kids not to waste their time with this place. My kids go to kindercare now and they love it. So much different and they dont do illegal stuff! Its great! Beware genius kids and the people who work there.

They have a great staff full of hardworking people who actually care about the kids. I can be kind of anxious to leave my daughter anywhere, but theyre so good with the kids that it sets me at ease. They follow safe covid guidelines and my daughter has a great time there. I don't ever think I've heard her say she's had a bad day so far.

I have NOTHING but GOOD NEWS about this place. My kids have been going here ever since it switched management and companies to Genius Kids, it is very well organized, very caring with the kids, great work with potty training, works really well with behavioral children, very understand when it comes to children's disabilities, and medical issues. There school is very interactive and know they are not there just to play, but they are their to learn as well. Staff is very GREAT aim communication I can honestly say in my opinion this is a great place to place your kids at for care, I don't trust everyone with my children.

This place has the worst customer service I've ever experienced in childcare. My employee assistance program called every center locally to find a place with an opening for 3 children and who take my work's childcare subsidy. This place said they take my subsidy and they had openings for us. I called multiple times and was told every time I should come by anytime for enrollment so I finally did. The night before, a Thursday, I emailed one of the employees and told them my intent to enroll the kids and try to be to work that day. I'm a single mother of 3 under age 4 and if I don't work I can't provide. So I came in Friday and they just kept giving me more and more paperwork to fill out. But I complied. They brought in some guy who told me everything was fine until I explained my subsidy program. Then he told me I had to get someone on the phone from the program to verify. They are extremely busy and don't even answer when I call but I assured him he would hear from them by the next week. Normally the way it works is the provider fills out one document and sends it directly to the subsidy program and I take my portion and give it them directly myself and we wait to get the award information back from a subsidy representative but he took my application and said he'd fax it just to be sure it went properly and then he made a copy of it without my permission. I had already explained to him that my application had my personal information on it they he had no right to nor did he need. He made a copy of it, he said, as collateral until he finds out if this is all true or not. I told him that it's not ok and he's stealing my personal information and he said it's their policy and if I don't give it to him I can't bring my kids. He took it despite me telling him it's unacceptable because he's been taken advantage of too many times and "this is how it has to be". So I emailed the subsidy program and begged them to process my application as soon as possible because these people don't believe me and I'm going to miss work until they get their documents in hand. Low and behold they gave me the award within a few hours. I contacted genius kids and told them I was approved and emailed them the documents showing it and the website they go to to do invoices and he said he looked it up and because the website hasn't been updated since 2013 it's not legitimate and he said anyone can type up documents to make them look real and I have not proven anything. He demanded to have the email address to the subsidy program or else we couldn't come so I gave him that and he told me he'd get back to me shortly. He texted me at 9:30pm to say the franchise doesn't accept my subsidy and we cannot come anyway. So now he has my personal information unlawfully and I jumped through every hoop they asked of me but it was all for nothing. Please do not waste your time with this place. If they can lie about finances I am not willing to risk what they will lie about when my children are concerned. This place is so run down. They got the venue in May and it's still in complete disarray. There are no curtains on the windows and sunlight comes through so the kids have to nap with sun beaming on them. Its super hot inside the building and It's all being fixed up so in the meantime the kids have to deal with everything being disorganized and in the process of rehabilitation. I'm glad they turned us away because the only reason I wasted any time is because they were my only option. I'd rather be a stay at home mother than trust these people with my children.

This place has a lot of potential and very little follow through. My son attended their after school program for only a month. They were late picking him up from school on several occasions. When it was brought up, they said they were "understaffed." The staff who WERE there were very friendly but I always felt uneasy being able to just walk in and around the premises. There was no office person to greet me, no one to show you where to pick your kid up, etc. Basically I just walked in and walked around trying to find him. I only ever saw 2 staff members there at one time. When I signed up, i was told they would be helping with hun is homework after school every day. That NEVER happened. I was charged a $79/year material fee. For what?! My son is also a kindergartner and was put in the group with the 3-4 yr olds. He constantly asked me why he had to play with the little kids instead of the bigger kids.I also dont like that you're charged full price for after school care. He was only there an average of 2 hours a day and I was charged $700 for the month. That's the same amount as my full time child care before school started. Honestly, with some work this place could be nice but it definitely needs help.

Amazing. The facility Is kept clean and the Organization skills are amazing. The check in process was very simple and also super informative. All the teachers and students look so happy and it brings me great joy seeing how well the facility has changed from the previous owners. I love how well the building looks on the inside and out

My 11 year old son has been attending the after-school day care now for three years and he really loves it. The staff at Genius Kids Rancho are kind and generous, and foster a playful, caring environment where the kids are able to have fun in a safe manner. Venessa has been especially helpful in assisting him with after-school homework (math). The facility is very clean and well-kept, and the staff communicate the activities which took place at the end of each day.
