Gelato Classico Italian Ice Cream is a great, new ice cream shop in Elk Grove. The owner was really nice and let me try several samples. I ordered the medium sized cup, which allowed me to get two flavors and chose Mango and Cappuccino Chip. Both of those flavors were sooo good! The mango was sorbet and the cappuccino chip was gelato. The medium cup size was $7.50. The shop was very clean, quiet, and cute. I liked their neon gelato sign and hints of pink around the shop. Service was really good. Great place for ice cream in Elk Grove.

New gelato spot in Elk Grove so I stopped by to try it out. Located next to the UPS store on Laguna, the shop has several tables inside and many gelato flavors to choose from. Since it was my first time I went with a large (3 flavor) cup. I got vanilla, espresso and salted caramel for $8.50 to go. All three flavors were delectable! The vanilla had vanilla beans throughout, espresso had a strong coffee flavor and the salted caramel was yummy too! It was served with a wafer cookie that I wanted more of as well!! Stop by and give this little shop a try! You won't be disappointed! Let's support this new business and help make it a success!

We stopped by late one night to try them as it's the first Gelato Shop in Elk Grove. While I love gelato I wasn't impressed. We ordered 4 smalls which were $7 each. For that price you have expectations. I don't know if their freezer was broken but the consistency was more like melting soft serve. We had to get. Lot of napkins before leaving as it was dripping over the sides. Hopefully it was just a temporary temperature issue. Will give them another try down the road.

I saw on Facebook that this new gelato spot just opened up last week, and we were about to pass by so we stopped in for an afternoon treat! It's a cute little spot with plenty of your classic gelato flavors, along with some unique ones like unicorn and cookie dough. The prices are pretty standard for gelato, which tends to normally run higher than a regular ice cream shop. Servings are smaller too which is very typical for gelato places. We got two small cups with one flavor each but if you're by yourself you could get a medium cup and pick two flavors! We really enjoyed the spumoni flavor which the owner said is their most popular flavor. If you like nuts, that is a great flavor for you. My daughter and I enjoyed the strawberry cheesecake flavor, which tasted more cheesecake over strawberry and was not too sweet at all. The little wafer that comes with it is my favorite part! Service was great and we enjoyed our very first visit here. It's nice to have a gelato place here in town so we don't have to go drive out to our usual spots in East Sac or Folsom!

We took my daughter and some friends here to celebrate her birthday and it was fantastic! They were very patient with all the samples the girls were asking, the gelato is creamy and delicious, and there's lots of seating. I highly recommend it!

It's about time a good Gelato place came to Elk Grove! My wife and I visited to try them out and were impressed by the variety of flavors and the silky texture of the gelato. One thing we would like to see improved is the almonds in the mocha flavor. A good Mocha Almond should have toasted nuts, the raw almonds just don't have the full almond flavor.

We sampled the matcha and pistachio. We got a small Pistachio and the total was $7.07. It tasted good. I would want to try other flavors next time. It is a little pricey.
