Gather Studio and Events

What a cute little boutique showcasing local crafters and artists' creations! One-of-a-kind jewelry, candles, pottery, shirts, purses, hats, and more are displayed on one side of the room and the "studio" portion with tables are on the other side. Gather holds a number of different crafting classes, from painting to macramé, to candles and body scrubs, and everything in between! They also offer seasonal classes such as wreath-making and chunky blanket weaving. I attended a private "Scrub & Bubbly" party where we made 3 different body scrubs to take home. The sweet owner Meleya was our instructor and had the mimosa bar and our work space, nicely organized with all of our tools and ingredients, set up when we arrived for our 90 minute class. She had some pre-printed recipe suggestions for us or we could make up our own concoctions as far as what scents we liked. Everyone's individual sugar scrubs turned out amazing! It was such a fun and enjoyable time, sipping on our mimosas and getting our hands dirty (and by that, I actually mean, getting our hands CLEAN AND SOFT AND SMELLING WONDERFUL!).Perfect spot to host a special event (birthdays, showers, etc.) or if you're just in a crafting mood. So gather your friends, make something awesome, and have a great time!

Visited Gather Studio and Marketplace on Small Business Saturday! Beautiful place that has a ton of local vendors and items. They have jewelry, clothes, home decor, dry shampoo, and more! Gather hosts a variety of craft classes. You can learn to knit an infinity scarf, glass etching, jewelry stamping and so much more.The day I attended their one year anniversary event we made a glass gratitude jar and a hanging succulent in a glass ornament. I had so much fun! You can book your own private party, you can bring food and snacks for that or use their local chefs and bakers. Visiting here with a group of friends would be fun, for girls night out. Date night or a this is a great birthday party idea too! I'm looking forward to returning soon!

What a great place! I had been wanting to come here since they opened but the holiday craziness prevented me from getting over here. I came the other night for a meeting. It's on Auburn Folsom Road, near Douglas. Easy to find and centrally located. If you're facing the building, the majority of parking is on the left side (South) of the building. The space is warm and inviting! The owner is passionate about creating a place to make memories and gather. I love that. They have activities and classes six days a week - always something fun going on. Check out the schedule on their website. They also have items for sale from local artisans - jewelry, leather, clothes. It's all good!!I can't wait to come back soon!

If you are at all crafty or want to learn how to get your craft on, Gather has you covered.This place is warm and inviting with classes that include making chunky blankets and body scrubs, and they are celebrating their one-year anniversary on Small Business Saturday, Nov. 30.In addition to craft-making, the shop also offers goodies and wares from local vendors, ranging from soy candles to caps. I saw a lot of cute stuff that would make great gifts and my friend actually bought a gift for someone while we were there.The owner guided us through the body scrub-making process, which was very easy and included a wide variety of naturally fragranced oils, botanicals for exfoliation, two different kinds of sugar, salt and coconut oil for moisture.We each made three different scrubs, which smelled great and since my friend won a contest, we were able to enjoy mimosas while we made our scrubs to add to the fun.Thanks for the fun afternoon : )

HAD THEE BEST TIME EVER.Super cute and chic studio that brings to life artists or non artists together! Completed the project of the Cinderella Pumpkin Succulent Garden in less than an hour. Super fun to bring your own snacks and drinks. Variety of succulents to choose from and supplies to individualize each pumpkin. Had a great time! Highly, highly recommend!!

Had an amazing time last Saturday at Gathers studio. Saw a candle making class on Facebook and decided to go. Meleya was amazing and so patient with us. Walking into the store it was very welcoming and Meleya explained that everything in the store is made from local artists. The class that I attended was a soap making class. Meleya had 5 different melt and pour bases and tons of add ons like oatmeal, brown sugar, flowers, tea, and shells. We got to make 6 bars of soap with whatever combination we wanted. After we were done pouring soap Meleya gave us cellophane wrap and brown bag to carry the soap home in. While the soap harden Miley's talked about different soap methods and how she decided to open her store. She also offers one on one classes for a walk in basis. Which is cool, especially if you want to do a product last minute. She also offers private parties which I think will be cool for bridal/baby shower etc. I'm so glad that I took a chance on a Facebook event. Best decision ever, will defiantly be back for future classes.

The Gather Studio and Marketplace is a great place to go for fun projects and to get your creative juices flowing. I attended a Women's Wellness retreat recently and had a great time! We started the day off with a short exercise program at Kaia Fit (Granite Bay) (next door to Gather) and then had a light continental breakfast at Gather. As the day progressed, we listened to a health/nutritionist, learned about crystal's and their psychic benefits (very interesting), I had Crystal Rising's Kathleen do a grid on me and learned some interesting things. We had lunch, did yoga and meditation, towards the end of the day we had snacks and did a vision board. It was a great day!! I would recommend you check Gather Studio and Marketplace out.

Our Moms group did our holiday party here last night and it was AMAZING! From planning to execution, Meleya did an amazing job! She set up a private link for our group to purchase tickets, allowed us to bring in our own food, and even coordinated a guided wine tasting for us! I highly recommend scheduling your next team building or group event at Gather... oh and the local market was definitely an added bonus. We got to shop for holiday gifts as the paint dried :) We will definitely be back!

I did the acrylic pour class and it was really fun and easy to follow! I will definitely be coming back for other classes.

BIG SHOUT OUT FOR MELEYA!!! :) Where do I begin??? You have got to take one class/work shop from Meleya!! Trust me, you will want to attend all of her classes/works shops! Meleya, thank you for always being creative and sharing your skills ! I have signed up for every class I can. I enjoy having a afternoon of fun and being creative.
