We visited Galpao Gaucho earlier this evening, and as ALWAYS, they did not disappoint! Great service as soon as we entered the doors. As the hostess was showing us to our table, our Server, Carrie, already recognized us and says "Welcome Back". We got our drinks and sides out quickly, as usual! The salad bar is always filled. My favorites at the salad bar are their beans & rice. Then come the meats!! The shrimp! The cheese! The pineapple!! And my favorite, chicken hearts! Yum! All cooked perfectly and flavorful! Oh!! Their chimichurri sauce is not one to ignore and my husband loves their Brazilian lemonade! It's like once you FLIP that coin to GREEN, the food does not stop coming!! I never had to ask for a plate replacement, a drink refill, or for another serving of chimichurri, it was always done right before I asked. The entire crew, from the hostess, to our server Carrie, our other gentleman server, the extremely energetic and polite Gauchos, to the manager Roger, they all were absolutely amazing! Carrie was so great, she recommended some fries for our little girl, when the fries came out, she also had ketchup for dipping, I was going to ask for some ketchup when the fries came out! She read my mind! Roger, was extremely welcoming. I see him every time we come and he's always so vigilant, keeping an eye on every table asking how everything is going. He was actually the gentleman that kept my chimichurri sauces coming:) The atmosphere and energy from the service just makes the food taste even better. Those combined make Galpao Gaucho our GO-TO for any and every occasion We visit Galpao (since they opened in 2023) maybe once every 3 months, and every visit keeps getting better! When Fogo De Chao opened (Dec 2024), we decided to take our family over to try it out on Christmas Day for dinner... that's the first and last time we pick another location over Galpao Gaucho. If you're looking for great food and great service in a great atmosphere, Galpao Gaucho is that place!

My husband an I just went to Galpao Gaucho in Roseville to celebrate his 65th BD. He had been to their Napa location for lunch, years ago and never stopped talking about it, so trying their Roseville location (we've moved), seemed like the perfect date night - and that turned out to be very true!Pros:*Beautifully decorated interior*Booth seats were very comfortable*Huge variety of meats (plus shrimp, salmon and some delicious grilled cheese with honey!), all cooked to perfection - I'm not kidding, every single one of them was delicious.*Amazing salad bar with everything an more you could ask for*Outstanding service from our waiter, Jose. and from each and every person who came by the table with meats and seafood to eat - everyone seemed very proud to be working at this restaurant.*Desserts were excellent!! We had the Tres Leches cake and the Creme Brulé (my favorite and this was was truly one of the very best I have every eaten).*Attention to detail - They remembered my husband's BD (I made a note in the online reservation system) and they didn't think twice about offering him a free dessert.*Good coordination - They have an excellent system, using a little card on the table to let the servers know that you are "ready" to try another meat - turn it to red for "pass" and "green" (I think"), to indicate "please stop).Cons:*The inside temp was very warm *Almost too much food - There's only so much food one can eat, so we weren't able to even try everything...maybe not a REAL con, but it was frustrating :(With tip, beer and a coke, we spent about $125 for the two of us. Not cheap, but considering you might pay $50-$70 (these days), for a ribeye vs getting lots of differently prepared meats, it seemed reasonable for a special occasion.

Came here for our wedding anniversary, it was our first time at this location. Our main server, Junior was awesome!! Very attentive and accommodating!Food was good, not great. We like chicken hearts but that wasn't on the menu. When they came around and asked if we had special requests, we asked if they have it and they said yes!So we ended up devouring the entire skewer.Ambiance is good. It's a big room with the cold/salad bar in the middle. We got here before six and it was quite quiet. Once more people arrived, it can get noisy though.I'd come again, but probably only special occasions.

FOOD- Salad bar: I liked trying the many varieties of salads. My favorites were the strawberry field salad, potato salad, chicken salad, and mango salad. There's also candied bacon, cheese & crackers, deviled eggs among other items. On the side there's soup and white rice. - Grill: I don't eat steak or lamb (I know, why did I even dine here??) but I enjoyed other items. My favorites were the grilled cheese and grilled pineapple. As far as meats, I liked the chicken drumsticks, the chicken wrapped in bacon, the beef ribs, and the grilled shrimp. - We were too full for dessert but the grilled plantains and the grilled pineapple kinda counted as dessert. SERVICE: Great service! We were seated pretty quickly after checking in. Our server was attentive and periodically asked us if we had any requests. FINAL THOUGHTS: Great service and a great place to dine if you like meats. I'm still thinking about their cheese bread. So good! I knocked off one star because I wish they had more chicken and seafood options.

WOW! What can I say. Other Yelpies speak for themselves by having an awesome experience, whether it's your first time or you are seasoned, coming here quite often to celebrate your birthday milestones, anniversaries, prom night, or graduation, or as simple as having a date night to spark the romance and ditch Applebees once in a while. Namm sayinn.. This hidden gem within Roseville is a must-go hands down. You can dress formal attire to match the ambience of the restaurant as it is indeed classy or be semi-casual, but not too casual or you may be turned away. Reservation is a must, so call the soonest possible whether that be one week in advance to one month in advance or maybe two months in advance especially during the months of Prom and/or Graduation night to secure the best dining experience. Pros:-EXCELLENT customer service-All-you-can-eat appetizer bar and soup bar-All-you-can-eat Brazilian Meat (steak/pork/chicken/seafood) is served by flipping the card to green status if you want more or to red if you need a break. LOL!-They do offer Birthday Celebrations with cake and music to come along with at request. Cons:-NONE!Now the question is, will I be back? Most certainly will. The best steakhouse I've ever been in the Roseville area.

Constantly delicious food and service! The salad bar is always refreshed and appealing. The meat just keeps coming. The place is always clean. The salad bar, dining area, and restrooms always kept clean and pristine! Variety of meats are always a lot lol so if it's beef, chicken, fish, lamb you're looking for they have it and they do it very well! Take your time and enjoy everything a little at a time otherwise you may tap out early and miss out on something really delicious. Definitely try the cheese and honey. If you like lamb they do have mint jelly by request. Mashed potatoes and bananas by request I believe. Also ask for the chimichurri. This is my favorite Brazilian steakhouse that I don't have to drive over an hour for. Price is reasonable and definitely better than my recent Fogo de Chao experience at Santa Row.

I had high expectations for Galpão Gaucho based on Yelp reviews and their website, thinking it would have a more upscale vibe like Morton's Steakhouse. However, the experience fell short. As soon as we parked, I noticed people in very casual attire, which was fine but definitely set the tone. We had reservations for Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and were seated right away. The restaurant was packed, and being led to our table was overwhelming--tables are very close together, and servers constantly walk around with skewers of meat. I needed a moment to breathe after sitting down. Our server explained the process and directed us to the salad bar. I was expecting a customizable salad bar but found a small selection: Caesar salad, pasta salads, cheeses, deli meats, olives, plain rice, tomato-based soup, and black beans. It was disappointing, as I expected more variety and quality.Back at the table, the meats started coming--and I mean coming in hot! One skewer after another, it was hard to keep up, and the noise level in the restaurant made it difficult to hear what was being served. I even accidentally tried chicken hearts (definitely not my thing). For $75 per person, I expected tender, flavorful cuts of meat, but most were bland and tough. The bacon-wrapped chicken was decent, and the shrimp was extremely dry. Each table is supposed to come with mashed potatoes, bread, and cooked bananas. Ours came late because the server forgot, and the mashed potatoes had toppings I wish they had asked about beforehand. The best part of the meal was the drinks, but overall, I felt the place was overpriced for what we got. We actually picked up food on the way home, which was such a letdown after spending so much. I don't feel like I got my money's worth and wouldn't recommend it for the price.

We went on Valentines Day so it was very busy, but had made a reservation for 8:30 weeks in advance. We were seated almost immediately. Service was quick for being a busy day. The price is worth it if you love steak. They also have a good selection at the salad bar are. I had been to the one in the bay and do prefer their salad bar but it was still good. Although there was a ton of people the servers were quick and it was nice. Would come again.
