I see this food truck at the Carmichael park farmers market every Sunday and they make me so happy. Idk why I've never taken a picture. One of their bowls of fruity deliciousness will have you feeling like you can take on the world.

My work booked food trucks come out our work site. Fruit Frenzie was one of them. My co-workers were excited about it. I've never tried Fruit Frenzie before. I ordered the Mahalo mango smoothie. It is mango of course, with pineapple, orange, coconut milk, and coconut water. It was good and refreshing. The truck was supposed to stay until 4pm, but the truck left early. A lot of our staff was disappointed they left. The were waiting close to when they got off work. They wanted to buy extra things for their families to try or didn't get to try anything at all.

Yummmm! I love a good smoothie bowl and Fruit Frenzie is where it's at! I am lucky that Fruit Frenzie is parked right outside my daughter's swim school every Thursday! Last week I ordered the Mahalo Mango with bananas, blueberries, strawberries - basically all the fruitz on top with crunchy almond butter and coconut. It was sooooo good! They also serve smoothies and overnight oats!Staff is super friendly and was great with making recommendations! They also put their schedule on the Instagram account. I highly recommend checking them out! You won't be disappointed.

FRUIT FRENZIEWhat is not to like about them? Better yet, what's not to love about them?A few months ago I was driving down El Camino Avenue and spotted the Fruit Frenzie truck parked in the parking lot at the Little Whale Swim School (https://www.yelp.com/biz/little-whale-swim-school-sacramento). I pulled into the parking lot thinking to myself that a smoothie sounded pretty good. Come to find out, they were shooting a segment with Good Day Sacramento! I hung out to see what was going on from across the parking lot, and waited to try a smoothie. I stood there and watched as they filmed the news segment, unaware that they weren't actually open to the public. After they were done filming I made by way to the ordering window, but before I made it there I was met outside by Kimo one of Fruit Frenzie's owners. Kimo said they were not prepared to take payments for items and had limited product due to only being there to shoot a news segment, but would still gladly make me something. I decided that since one of my favorite fruits is mango, that I would just try a "Mahalo Mango Smoothie." Within a few minutes the other owner Dakota handed me my smoothie. She thanked me for coming. I tried to give them cash for my smoothie but Kimo refused and said " Just come back again" so I happily left, drinking my smoothie. WOW it tasted good. It was so refreshing with oranges, pineapple and mango. All those flavors burst in your mouth all at once. Once I got home, I looked up Fruit Frenzie to see where they were going to be located. I was excited to see that they are frequently at two separate locations close to my house! Thursday afternoons they go to the Little Whale Swim School and Sunday mornings they are parked at the Carmichael Farmer's Market. My wife and I have become repeat customers, ordering something from Fruit Frenzie about two to three times a month. Each time I get something different. There are so many different combinations to choose from, you never have to get the same thing and are bound to find a lot of things to love. They serve smoothies and bowls, which are thicker with a base and toppings.First things first. Choose your base. Aloha Anuhea (one of my favorites) - Strawberries, banana, and almond milk. It's slightly sweet and you can totally taste the strawberries.Dakimo - Dragon fruit, mango, banana, and almond milk. This one is good, but it has too much of a banana taste for me.Kanaka - Acai, strawberries, bananas, and apple juice. Mahalo Mango - mangos, pineapple, oranges, coconut milk, and coconut water. This is my go-to bowl. I just love all the citrus flavors that go into this bowl. Shaka - oats, banana, & homemade cold brew. I don't like this bowl very much, only because it has a strong banana and coffee taste. If you really like bananas and coffee, then this is a good one for you. It is my wife's favorite. This last base is Kalapaki made with hawaiian spirulina, peaches, bananas, and apple juice. This bowl is also one of my favorites. Don't let the green color throw you off, because the taste is great. I love how the taste of peaches comes up in the after taste, and even though the base has bananas in it, they are not too over powering. The best part about all the ingredients used to make these bowls is that they are all organic. After you pick your base, you get to pick 4 toppings. Toppings include all types of different fresh fruits and nuts, along with things like coconut shavings and bee pollen. There are probably around thirty different types of toppings to choose from.My go-to toppings that I frequently use are asian pears, strawberries, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, mango, sunflower seeds, and bee pollen. My wife's go-to toppings are cashews, coconut, banana, pecans, blackberries, raspberries, and apple. The next step in creating your bowl is choosing which nut/seed butter you are going to use. I personally use the honey sunflower seed butter. I think it makes my Kalapaki and Mahalo Mango bowls pop with flavor. Other butter you can choose from are chocolate hazelnut, macadamia and almond butter. My wife gets either the chocolate hazelnut or the macadamia nut butter on hers, but also loves the sunflower seed butter. There are other super boosts and power add-ins that you can add to your bowl, but I haven't tried any of those yet.If you are just ordering a smoothie, they are made from the same bowl ingredients, but are blended more so they can go through a straw. You don't get any toppings on your smoothie. They also sell oats and Hawaiian coffees. In all my times visiting the Fruit Frenzie truck, I have not been disappointed in the service, kind staff, and delicious freshness in my fruit smoothie bowls. Thank you Kimo, Dakota, Kayla, and Corinn for being such amazing people and bringing healthy fresh options to our community!
