Frosty City

Went to Frosty City for dessert after having dinner. We were greeted by the lady up front. I wished I would have asked on how the options/toppings worked but that will be for another day when I come back. :)I would recommend that the workers ask if a customer has been there before, to give opportunity for them to explain to their customers on how it works. Honestly, i just wanted dessert and got ice cream. They have quite a variety of flavors. The mocha almond was so good. The place have some cute decors, great for photos.

I wanted to like this place, but I don't think I'll be back. We experienced too much deception imo. Menu stated that froyo & ice cream are same price and both include 2 free toppings. However, after we asked for ice cream with toppings she said that toppings weren't included for ice cream, just for froyo. While she did end up giving us 1 free topping, I was annoyed that I had to argue for it. Update your menu, it's not like you're busy. The nail in the coffin was when we were paying..she asked if we would be paying cash. We said card, which she didn't look too happy about. That's when she should have told us that there would be a charge for using card. We didn't find out there was a charge until we got the receipt. If we had known, we probably would've paid cash. I wanted to note that the small scoop size for $5 was more than I thought they would give, which was a pleasant surprise. She filled the small cup to the top. I think it might be Gunther's ice cream, as the birthday cake looked the same as at Gunther's but they don't advertise that it's Gunther's so I could be wrong. I wanted to try a shake or mangonada, but $9 is pretty steep even in this economy. Restaurants don't even charge that much.

The service is very good, the girl making is very sweet however, the quality is poor. I ordered the "royal" fallow and it's a mixture of gibberish. The flavors don't add up, they have popping boba strawberry flavor with vermicelli and then vanilla ice cream. The quality of ice cream should be rich yet it was very poor. Paying $9 for this mix up of random stuff is a bit too much.

Very cute place! frozen yogurt very delicious they do have a Gunther ice cream! The royals falooda taste very yummy very good prices and very good customer service I will be back definitely recommended check out this new place

Super clean, and really good frozen yogurt and ice cream!! My daughters loved hanging out here, we will definitely be coming back.

I'm all about supporting local business owners especially in this complex but this one is way overpriced for what it is. They don't have any clear visible pricing, it's priced by the cup size which I learned while paying. Froyo flavors are ok, typical selection, no dole whips today. The toppings are underwhelming and limited. You're not allowed to put your own candy from the wall dispensers and the lady just straight up stands next to you in a displeased manner while you add your toppings like they're getting bankrupt if you put more than 2 scoops of old tasting selections or you'll make a terrible mess.Again, prices are per cup plus tax AND card fee; like any other food place, the machine asks for a tip. I think she also prefers you to pay cash instead because of the stink eye she gave when I said card. The store is clean, smells nice inside, the froyo machines look very brand new, no hand prints or residual froyo even on the drip catcher. I'll give that a star.The lady who maybe the owner, I get what she wants to do, she's trying so hard to be pleasant and accommodating but you can still feel no genuineness of customer service. I remember this business when it first opened up, probably not the same owner anymore as it was shut down for a while after it opened. If they want their business to thrive, they have a whole lot to work on. Maybe research more on different approaches to this ice cream/froyo business like looking into Tiger's Yogurt Shop in Elk Grove that's been around for more than a decade and has a solid customer base. I mean, it's not that terrible but it's also not that great. There are other great places within 5 miles like Gunther's, only 10mins away or Long Island Ice Cream which is a block over.

Wanted to like it more than the first time but I do not , the set up couldn't be more inconvenient , you aren't allowed to add your own toppings , overpriced like no tomorrow, do not recommend

Good frozen yogurt flavors, friendly staff, and a quiet atmosphere. The only change I would make is to lower the temp of the yogurt, it melts really quickly. We will be back!

I'm sorry, but this place gets zero stars immediately we were turned off because the blender was dirty. The server went and got a bag of mangoes and stuck her raw hands into the bag unwashed and then offered to wash hands. It was very dark in there I would not recommend it.

Do not recommend. No greeting, the lady was on her phone the whole time. The selection of toppings was disappointing, photo is attached. No care for the business and you can tell.
