Frankie's Pizza

This place is gem and has the best pizza hands down. Best crust, best customer service. Amazing toppings. Home town pizza and feels like home. Ambiance is old town feel. Think about your Hallmark movie. We met the owner Frankie and he is amazing. You can tell he put his heart into this. The quality of food, the care they put into this is beyond amazing.

(+) The food is delicious! We ordered two personal pizzas, fried chicken wings and cheese sticks. Would definitely return again. (-) There is no table service and that shows. I wondered if anyone was going to clean the tables, but I did not see anyone come.

I'm a regular here and I love this place so much! Service is great and pizza is awesome! Honestly I rarely rate places unless it's bad but this place is honestly so good. I come here all the time it truly is a hidden gem in Old Sac. I'll always recommend the salad bar. It always has fresh lettuce. There's also always a young girl working there during the weekday mornings and she's so kind! Overall good service and food. I will definitely continue to come here!

Walt's Adventures here to report on another establishment, Frankie's Pizza. This eatery is located in Old Sacramento and has both indoor and outdoor dining. The pizzas are offered in a variety of different sizes. One may select from several premade categories of pizzas or, when in doubt, simply make your own. The one we consumed was quite delicious as well as the garlic bread. One of their disadvantages beyond their control is the fact that the freeway rests just beyond their outdoor area. However, given time, one does finally overlook it. This original city of Sacramento has many restaurants but I will always look forward to Frankie's for they have cracked the secret on how to provide their customers with good food.

So happy that this place is here. The building has been empty for so long. The food was great. They even had gluten free crust for their pizza and it was delicious. Met the owner Frankie and he was so nice! Highly recommend!

I was looking for a good pizza place before the Kings Game and Frankie Pizza came up with good reviews. When I first walked into the Pizzeria I could instantly smell the pizza. My stomach was growling and I was ready to grub! I came with one of my friends and we got a large pepperoni pizza. The pizza took about 15-20 minutes to make. When it came out it look simple, but the taste was amazing and yes there was a cheese pull! The crust had good flavor. Overall the best pizza in Sacramento! I agree with all the reviews! And they're reasonable too. Overall would strongly recommend supporting this local spot! Just writing this review makes me crave some pizza!

Great pizza, awesome salad bar, great location. I do not recommend visiting if Frankie is not there , as the pizza and salad bar is diminished.

hello wanted to say food is great BUT the place is always dirty. there was no one in when i came and every table had food on it and no one cleaned up. the crew stays in the back there was 3 people when i came and im not sure what they are doing back there. ive been here a few times and theres always tables with left over food also it was not busy when i came. i love the food here but hopefully the crew can get it together and star cleaning when its empty

January 8, 2025This will be update of any reviews try one thousand three hundred sixteen!Not sure how to say this! For Loyalty Customers, the system was as owner said, word he used Hacked! Not sure what word Hacked means, the owner says people tampered with the TOAST POWER system, one person somehow put themselves at having five hundred points for just one order! I remember was one point (before tax) per dollar spent! No way that person ordered up to five hundred dollars worth of food in one order! Yes, my last visit there was a party of between fifteen students to twenty five students and up to four Counselors (the word Counselors for lack of better word)! Two tables, sign saying Fourteenth birthday (name of the girl)! Even with up to twenty four people, there was no way that would be five hundred dollars worth!The owner says to delete the email of TOAST POWER! If they work/volunteer in Old Town Sacramento, instead ten percent off, is now fifteen percent off! Example, if the order is $9.00 before tax, the order with fifteen percent off is now $8.65 with tax instead of up to $9.79 with tax! That is with the fifteen percent off discount! That is savings of, Maestro or Maestra a few notes on the piano if you please, one dollar and fourteen cents with the tax! That is good for the employees/volunteers of other Old Town Sacramento businesses, not good for what Loyalty Customers there may have been! It is sad "bad guys" have to ruin the system for Loyalty Customers!

Pizza crust tastes like cardboard. Had the personal pizza. The toppings were fresh, but the crust is awful.
