We hired Chef Scott and his daughter Peggy to cook a birthday dinner for 8....they whole process from picking a date, menu, wine pairing was easy and the result was amazing.All the food Chef prepared was organic, locally sourced and made with love. Peggy set up everything beautiful and their service was divine. There were 5 courses (see pictures) and everyone one of them was a 10 out of 10.Thank you Chef and Peggy for making my birthday dinner so special.

I am so happy that I found Chef Scott. I contacted Chef Scott to plan an at-home anniversary dinner for my husband and I. Since we have little ones, it's not always easy to find a sitter, so it was awesome to be able to have a nice, fancy dinner for us once the kids went to bed. Best dinner we've had at our home!! The food was amazing!! Chef Scott put together a four course menu based on my request for seafood & surf and turf. He was super easy to communicate and work with! Loved the food presentation, the dinner set up, the wine recommendations and the excellent service. Definitely want to use Food Mood again.

Seriously amazing team! We booked a catered picnic lunch last minute and Peggy and Scott were more than happy to make it happen. We were meeting up with friends for a social distanced hangout and I wanted to make it extra special. I expected boxed lunches and maybe a vase of flowers but Peggy set up a whole beautiful scene for us with blankets, painting kits (talk about above and beyond), flowers for each family, and a little tent for the kids to play in. On top of all that, the food was delicious (and there was SO MUCH OF IT). Can't wait to work with them again.

Great catering and easy to work with! Needed creative cookies for my favorite pharmacy folks and they delivered within my needed time and with such great cookies! Had little "pills", RX and syringes made into lemon cookies with frosting! Unit-dosed for COVID compliance! Great job. Thanks for helping me thanks some special people!

I didn't know I wasn't eating great food until I had this food! It's like nothing you've ever tasted. The ingredients are all locally sourced and put together in the most spectacular food combinations! If you're looking for amazing service, food, and memories then look no further. I already have my next event with them booked!

The food and the entire experience was the best I've had in decades (literally). Chef LaCrosse is a consummate professional who shows true passion for his work. He and his daughter (Service Director Peggy) treated me like a king, and my lady friend like a queen, in the comfort and privacy of my own home. They prepared and served a seven course meal that we will both remember for a very long time. From appetizers to dessert, each course built perfectly upon the previous to make a truly outstanding and unforgettable dining experience. The wine pairings were spot on and the dishes he chose for the meal were unique and that I had never eaten before. The ingredients were extremely fresh and of tip-top quality. Everything was cooked to perfection and cheerfully served, making it an outstanding experience. The cost was far less than I would have expected and represented an excellent value for the money. I was so pleasantly surprised that they cleaned up everything at the end and left my kitchen as it was before they arrived for this spectacular evening. I can't wait to have them over again. It was a real treat.

Chef Scott and Eric cooked a beautiful meal with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We had a group of 9, with some strict allergies, and he catered to all of our needs and requests. He's responsive and the meal was SO delicious. He also brought flowers etc from his property to create a beautiful setting at the table, and even some of the ingredients were picked from his property that morning. He was also so personable and knowledgeable about the region and the local ingredients. I cannot recommend Chef Scott enough to anyone looking for a wonderful meal at home.

AMAZING, I wish I could leave TEN stars! I've had the pleasure of being in Chef Scott's company twice now - last year for my Bachelorette and just yesterday for my husbands Birthday. The experience that Chef Scott creates is absolutely divine - from the printed custom menus, vintage silverware, fresh decorative flowers and herbs, farm to table locally sourced ingredients.. the list goes on and on. Being foodies ourselves, it's so much fun having Chef Scott around - asking him all the questions and observing him as he prepares and serves with such attention to detail. He is so passionate about what he does and his positive energy is contagious. I truly feel so lucky to have found FoodMOOD and look forward to working together for many many years to come. We've already booked to have them back next month and cannot wait!

The event we just booked with Chef Scott and his team isn't until November, but thus far our experience has been wonderful. Chef Scott is super-responsive and creative. He listened closely to what we were dreaming about for a sit-down wedding celebration dinner for 15 and created a multi-course menu that is full of top-notch proteins (vegetarian options too) and creative, high-quality dishes. All this, plus linens, glassware, plates, utensils, and two additional servers to assist during the event. And Food Mood stayed within our budget! Chef Scott quoted a per person rate right away, so I didn't have to wait and just hope that his quote for the amazing menu would be affordable. From initial inquiry, to fully fleshed out menu, to signed contract took less than a week.Our event is in late November, so I'll update my review then. I have no doubt, however, that it will remain positive

My family and some friends had a fantastic experience with food last night. Scott and his daughter, Peggy cooked and served up a dinner like no dinner we have ever experienced. Brittney, from the Glass House Garden, provided the venue and organized our dinner. It was like going out to dinner at a private restaurant in a beautiful garden setting - all specially prepared and set up just for my family and friends. We all felt so wonderful and so special. I cannot describe how wonderful the foods were - all of the dishes - every ingredient - so good, and as we learned from Scott, so good for us. My husband said it was an experience he will never forget - the food, the atmosphere, the conversation, and the people. And he never says stuff like that! The food experience was what made everything happen perfectly. Scott, the chef, is the real deal, passionate about what he does and so down to earth about the reasons he does it. If you want to try something new and uplifting and fun and different and delicious and inspiring, book a dinner through the Glass House Garden for the venue, and be sure that Food Mood is in charge of your meal. It will not just be a dinner out, it will be a food, fun, and friends event that you will stay in your heart. I plan on making this my new way to go out for a nice dinner. The typical restaurant experience, does not even come close to this new way of enjoying food with your people. And so reasonably priced! What a concept. Thanks so much.
