Folsom VFW Hall

Not sure how anyone could review a hall and bar dedicated to Veterans who have fought in wars abroad, on behalf of our Citizens and Nation, with anything less than 5-stars. Happy to be a member here and enjoy the $2 beers, $5 dinners, but mostly enjoy spending time and listening to other veterans and getting to know them. Thanks VFW and all its members for all you have done; Godspeed.

Normally the Patriot's Pub has excellent service and bartenders, but this evening I was there after our MCL meeting, as per usual after the meetings we havePizza and Drinks. The bartender for the evening was Chuck, there were 3 of us at the far end of the bar, one of which was a new MCL member. We waited patiently for our turn to order, but he continued to serve the other end as they walked in. I told the others waiting, he kept serving the people coming in the door and ignoring us. At that point Chuck turns to me and says "If you think you can do better you are welcome to come back here and do it, I am just a volunteer!" I said I don't need your attitude, the new member Sylvia told him, I can help you, I ordered a Blue Moon and I gave Chuck a $20, he gave $2 back when the beer was $3, I told I gave him a 20 so he gave me the remaining change and threw the money down on the bar in front of me. He doesn't have the temperament or good bartender skills and organization for the job. We deserved an apology, instead of rude comments and attitude! I was embarrassed that a brand new member experienced his poor conduct.

Nice venue , peoples are friendly , big space outside for a wedding , highly recommended
