Folsom Thai Cuisine is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm hospitality and a cosy, inviting atmosphere. The food is nothing short of exceptional--each dish is bursting with authentic Thai flavours, perfectly balanced spices, and fresh ingredients.The Pad Thai, Spicy Thai Fried Rice, and Thai Chow mein is one of the best I've had, with just the right mix of sweetness and savoury goodness. A quaint little Thai restaurant nestled in a strip mall. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was exceptional--think the food critic's childhood flashback scene in Ratatouille, exceptional. I've been searching for these flavors ever since I first tried Thai food, and this place delivered.At first, I was a little concerned when I noticed some soups and fried rice dishes on the menu that are more common in Chinese restaurants. While I understand the appeal of catering to a broader audience, my past experiences have made me cautious of places that try to do too much. However, hunger won out over hesitation, and I decided to start with some traditional dishes.I ordered Tom Kha soup with chicken, Pad Pho Tak for the fish, and Panang curry with beef. Every bite was delicious. My mouth is watering as I write this! I can't wait to return and explore more of the menu.

I usually only leave reviews when I'm genuinely impressed, and this Thai restaurant truly deserves it. The effort they put into their food is evident, and it feels right to show appreciation for that. I've been to many Thai restaurants, but this one stands out as one of the best. I have to admit, I've never liked Tom Yam soup and always stuck to Tom Kha--but trying Tom Yam here completely changed my mind. It was absolutely delicious, and I couldn't believe how much I enjoyed it! We also ordered three salads, egg-fried vegetables, and Tom Kha soup. Every dish was bursting with flavor and perfectly prepared.To be honest, we originally planned to visit another restaurant, but it was closed that day. I'm so glad we found this place instead. My friends and I had such a wonderful experience that I forgot to take photos of the food because I was too busy enjoying it! Small little place right next to the Palladio, went with a few friends and we all enjoyed our time! The thai tea was great, pretty sweet but pretty much what you want out of a thai tea. I thought their fried tofu appetizer was lacking in crunch and flavor so I would skip that. However, their pad see ew was amazing! It was so flavorful, I got the highest spice level possible which was a pretty comfortable spice. We also got the panang beef curry which was also super tasty and yummy. The staff were very attentive even though the restaurant was so busy.I can't wait to go back!

For my group of 4, we ordered the duck curry (with two bowls of rice), beef pad thai, chicken Tom yum, and the papaya salad. All of the portions were very big and flavorful. We were pleasantly surprised by the duck curry, having never ordered it before. The pineapples gave a sweet flavor that blended well with the duck and curry. The Tom yum soup was loaded with chicken and mushrooms. Great value! Would come back. Much better priced (for the size) than any Thai restaurant I'd find in the Bay Area.

Came in with a party of 4 at around lunch time on a Friday. Plenty of available seats. We were able to choose where to sit.Ordered the following:- Avocado Spring Rolls with peanut sauce - Yellow curry chicken- Angel Wings - fried crispy stuffed chicken- Mango Sticky Rice - Thai Iced Coffee- Thai Iced TeaWe were happy with all the food we ordered. The Thai Iced Coffee & Tea were just ordinary. Nothing special. The sauce on the sticky rice was thick and very sweet. The way it should be, so most in our party were happy. I find it too sweet for my taste. Avocado spring rolls was fresh & with crisp vegetables inside and has a great tasting peanut sauce. Angel wings, although very crispy as promised was just so-so. The Yellow Curry Chicken with rice was a bomb. Super happy with it. We were given complimentary small size salad while waiting for our food. When ordering a meal with rice, there's an option for brown rice (for extra $1.50).A lot of parking spaces outside, clean and bright restaurant. Good service

YELP Thank You Thursday I made reservations here at Folsom Thai Cuisine one week prior to our dinner. My phone call was answered promptly by a friendly employee and put me down on their calendar for Nov 12. Last Sunday our party of 12 met at the restaurant.The restaurant had a nice ambiance and our table was arranged near the cashier, not quite private but our table was apart from where they seated other guests. This way we were able to get up, mingle, and take photos without disturbing other diners. We placed our orders individually and shortly after our orders was being served one at a time until everyone got their food... everyone except us (me and hubby). We were the first ones to order and somehow our order was missed and we had to remind our server. We ordered Crab Fried Rice, Crispy Chicken and Garden Shrimp. Anyway, the most important thing was everyone in my group got their orders okay and they all seemed to enjoy the different dishes. The servers were helpful and attentive to our table. They were also able to accommodate separate checks, which was nice!So thank you to Folsom Thai Cuisine for taking in our group and keeping our bellies full. To be honest, I am not well versed on Thai cuisine. But I know what my tastebuds like and they like the food here at Folsom Thai Cuisine . Plus the owner and staff are absolute sweethearts. They have big smiles, fun personalities and do a darn job of taking care of their customers even with a full house. Plus the back kitchen kept up with all the various orders. I dined here on a Sunday night with a semi-rowdy group of 12. We ordered drinks, bottle of wine, appetizers, and entrees. We were well taken care of. They even allowed us to split checks without any hassles. Super generous of them. The fish cakes were yummy. The duck curry was ah-mazing. It had a touch of sweetness and substantial slices of duck. Mmm. The crab fried rice had a clean, non-oily look and taste. The white rice was light and fluffy. Everything looked fresh and had beautiful color. My friends enjoyed their meals as well. Also the interior is beautiful. It has a bit of an upscale design look and vibe.
