Folsom Tap House

The owner lies to bands about pay and shorts them at the end of the night. And the band is expected to move the tables and booths off the stage. What a shit show. No band should ever expect to be properly paid. Stay away.

Cool spot. Lived in the area a while and just haven't been until now. I'd go again. Friendly staff and nice environment.

Been a long time since I've been here as I have always gotten horrible service and horrible food; however, went here with a friend the other day because a sign said "under new ownership." Was absolutely pleasantly surprised. Incredible marsala chicken. Friend got a club sandwich that was tasty. Huge selection of beer and a Incredible bartender/waitress that provided such outstanding service that it almost excused my horrible experience from the past. I would highly recommend this restaurant now without reservation.

great service by Courtney! Food decent. Small portions for price. Came fresh. Fish n chips and slaw minus the rye bread. Club sandwich fresh. Good bacon. Fries with both came hot. Beers. Revision brewery. Pretty decent selection. Several tv's. Outdoor seating too.

If you haven't been to The Folsom Tap House, you definitely should try it. I first went there 2 weeks ago to watch the Euro games and ordered appetizers. Food was on point. We went back the week later to play Bingo and again the food is excellent. We even had the Churro dessert bowl. So dreamy good! Yesterday evening we went for dinner and my husband had the Tap House Burger with Waffle Fries, we also ordered the Ahi Poke appetizer and I had a bowl of their Soup special. If you haven't tried the Ahi Poke dish, you definitely should try it. It comes with a good size portion for two to share. With wonton chips so delicately crispy and it awoke my taste pallet. DELICIOUS!! It was so darn good I ordered another to go after we were done with dinner. The atmosphere there is such a great vibe, and the staff instantly invites you in as their family. It's a very nice place to take your family and friends to for a good time and some awesome food. Thursday is usually Bingo nights which is always fun, they also have live bands, Trivia night and Karaoke nights. The food is now being prepared by the well known Chef Luis. Excellent menu he has prepared and SO worth it to go eat there. Food is prepared with love and totally satisfying. Everyone leaves there happy and feels like you are home there. If anything, at least go try this place. New Chef, new management and trained friendly staff. If you're from Folsom, you will run into your favorite people there who are regulars. I too will make regular visits there. Happy customers all around!

Beer was great. Food was on point. I went out with a friend late night when a band was playing. I appreciate the live music but had to talk over it when conversing with my friend.

The service is great and the food is very delicious. The menu has some great variety. I try something new every time I visit and I'm never disappointed. Brunch is my favorite- great portions at a great price. You can't beat it. Chef Luis is awesome. He's always stopping by the tables and checking in the guests.

Went there with friends on December 18. It's under new management. This is a truly local water hole. The place was packed with just 1 waitress. I know the ownership turnover is high but we waited 30 minutes and no drinks. We were out.

My husband and I have been regulars for several years. So disappointed in this morning's brunch. I ordered something that came barely warm, not hot. I stuck my finger into it and the dish clearly had been sitting. No one wants to eat their breakfast barely hot. I mentioned it, they took the plate back. Instead of firing up a new plate, they barely warmed my plate. Which made it even more greasy and still not edible. I don't usually complain about a place I frequent often and considered a "Regular." If the cook can't be consistent on the menu items, don't cook it. I'm so annoyed with Luis and his lack of pride in what is leaving his kitchen. It's inexcusable that food is leaving his kitchen without any regard for the patrons he is serving. Sorry, but this is happening on a regular basis. If he doesn't want to work there, then don't make your staff quit. You quit.
