Love this place! We've been for quite a few birthdays for the glow and bowl and it's always a blast. The technology for each lane is top notch and I love that some of our family can choose bumpers while others may not want to use them. You can also personalize the theme of the scoreboard which my kids love. I haven't eaten there but the beer has always been icy cold and refreshing and the environment is clean, well maintained and down right fun. Recommend for all ages and skill levels!

We were celebrating a graduation and had 5 in our group. We had kids' birthday parties on both sides so it was squished, crowded and loud. I wish our reservation could've been on a different lane. The wait staff was great! The lanes are just crowded.

We checked out FLB for the first time spontaneously on Saturday! We were with friends and decided to go bowling while out and about. Upon entering, it's just like any other bowling place even though it felt smaller than some. We placed our names on the waitlist and the guy at the counter said it would be about an hour or so.We went into the lounge area and found a seat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and got us our drinks quickly. They have pool tables as well as maybe darts - I vaguely remember seeing some. They used to have casino card tables, but I was told they changed some stuff around. I ordered some nachos while we waited as well and they were decent - just cheese and jalapenos so nothing too fancy. Our lane was ready about an hour or so later just like the guy said and they charged us by the hour rather than how many games we played. It was a bit crowded, had to share our table and area with another group that had a bit too much to drink by the time we joined them. Overall, the place was clean, service was friendly and we had a great time. We would probably be back the next time we are in the Folsom area!

FLB bowling review- currently the only bowling option in FolsomPros- has a promotion currently for Spring $75 weekday for 1 hour up to 6 people which includes shoe rental, pizza/chicken tender/nacho, pitcher of soft drink, and arcade card which is a good deal- plenty of parking- inside is clean and in the evening- will dim lights/mood lighting for cosmic bowling- pizza taste decent- kids enjoyed it Cons- definitely the staff, both staff members were chatting behind the counter and I had to greet them to get service which was curt- shoe size, food option, drink choice, etc. Got the vibe that they have been working here for a long time and don't really care unless maybe you are a regular. - Kids used the Arcade card and stupidly scanned at the claw machine multiple times which drained the credits because the claw machine is broken. Told a staff member and was told they do not manage the card so we would have to call the phone number. No effort was made to put an out of order sign so during this time other kids are wasting credits on the claw machine. Really get sense that they care less about your experience

Our first time here a few weeks ago when my sister and her family were all visiting from Ohio for the week. We reserved 2 lanes side by side and had the best of times bowling and enojoying the clean and friendly environment at FLB. The bowling place overall is well kept and in a very organized manner. The staff very friendly and welcoming and the entire experience was truly never ending fun filled with smiles galore and laughter with cheers as we bowled and had fun with the music as well. Love that the music wasn't too loud. Some places the music is so loud you need to yell in order to hear one another however FLB had the music just loud enough to enjoy and still be able to talk to one another and hear one another. Plenty of parking as well which is a nice plus. The only draw back to this bowling place is as soon as the hour or 2 hour time frame in our case is up the score board ends as well. We were not able to finish our last turn for 2 of us to get our final scores. Just about 2 to 3 minutes or so and we would have been able to finish the game. Would prefer if we could pay by how many rounds we could play instead of per hour so that we could complete each round. We were laughing and trying our fastest to finish up before the clock reached the final second hour however just missed it by a few minutes! Still was a funtastic overall experience and we are surely going to be return bowlers!

The ambiance is a little older but the happy hour was good. The beer was big and worth it. The bbq sliders were good. The chips n dip were cheap and look ordinary but the chips were actually very good and tasted homemade. I had fun here with good company and would come back again for the happy hour.

1/24/24 (Wednesday) 8:30pmOnly bowling alley in our area, luckily it's a great one!! No wait @ 8:30 for a party of 4. $69 after tip for four people for up to 3 hours on a lane. We stayed for just over 1.5 hours.$17.25 a person for shoes, 3 hours on a lane, and water. A great deal!Lanes were roughly half occupied at this time, beware however that weekends and holidays get extremely busy with up to a few hour wait on a lane. You can play your own music if you pay, which sadly means some of the songs played aren't so great Perfect date night idea, or way to kill boredom. For local reviews or travel content you can find us on most socials @sunsetourist

Made reservation to bowl with friends. Costs more to make reservation as opposed to being a walk in. Was told to arrive 15 minutes early which we did. Was told we wouldn't get a lane until 5-10 minutes after our scheduled time. Was assigned a lane and as we got our balls and got set up, we're told we had to go to a different lane and other bowlers came to our original lane. Finally got to new lane, had them wipe down area and were able to bowl. Try not to complain but the women's bathroom did not have ANY hand soap in both dispensers. Big pet peeve to not be able to wash hands. Told them up front but after an hour they still were not replenished with soap. Had a reservation for dinner after which is why we reserved a lane to begin with.

We recently held a birthday party for our kids at Folsom Lake Bowl, and it was amazing! Scheduling was an easy process, and we only had to show up the day of, everything was taken care of. The party went really well, everyone who worked there was helpful, and my kids and their friends had a great time. They are already asking to have a bowling party again next year!If you are looking for somewhere to hold your child's birthday party, I highly recommend FLB.
