Most of the seafood is caught by him and his crew but his also bargains with fisheries to bring of a variety of fish and crab.I've purchased many great seafood from Anthony including black cod, rock cod, Dungeness crab, and halibut. Buy fresh fish locally and direct from the fisherman! Sign up for the email and get notified when fish are available. The black cod or sable fish is delicious and as good for you as salmon. The smoked black cod are indeed delicious. The oily fish keeps it moist and the smoke is just right. Looking forward to eating more fresh fish!

Fresh, sustainable, hook and line caught, brought directly from the boat to the greater Sacramento region. Owner Operator and fisherman Anthony does it all with great style and tight lines! I follow Ferrari Fisheries on Facebook. Anthony and Lou have been fishing for decades and sustainably catch their fish, because they care about the environment and the fish they catch. Anthony and his wife are fun, friendly and social people. They have a small booth outside their home in West Sacramento, where they sell their catch. They always have fresh caught fish, but if you are lucky, you may find their delectable smoked fish in the black fridge for sale as well. Grab those fast because they won't last long. The word is already out and I have plenty of friends that have already signed up for Fresh Fish notifications from them. Hit them up on their website and sign up yourself. Then you'll be in the know as well.The usual catch is Black Cod, also known as Butterfish or Sablefish. This is a super delicate fish that is caught deep down in the water. This is the fish that makes that awesome Japanese dish...Misoyaki Butterfish.Simply Wonderful!!!

I bought tuna from Ferrari roadside shack that made everyone sick. I am sure other fish are good but it's expensive. Costco natomas sells whole black cod for $5.99 gutted and head off. Black cod fillet yield is 54% so you are roughly paying $14 per pound at Ferrari. Not worth it, Sunday asian market also has a fish trailer that's cheap and good if you go very early before they run out black cod $4 per pound Linh fish shop. Also, at Ferrari you have to wait in line over half hour even when you want to take fish home whole without fillet service

He chats about his boats and answers questions while he guts and cleans your delicacy from the ocean. Friendly customers share ideas of what they plan to prepare based on their family recipes from many different cultures. Enjoy a beverage while waiting in line from the cooler stocked for their customers! It feels old-fashioned but also very fresh & timely to purchase delicious fish in this manner. They have wild caught fishes at amazingly affordable price, which are hard to find anywhere. You will not regret.

I discovered Anthony on River Road in West Sacramento, and let me tell you, his fish is incredible--so fresh and absolutely delicious. It's been ages since I've had fish this good. I highly recommend him; trust me, you'll be hooked!
