Feickert Park

Built in the early 1980's , Adam Feickert Park was named after a prominent Elk Grove farmer Adam Feickert. After his wife sudden death, Adam donated the land for a new school to the district in honor of his wife ! "Ellen Feickert Elementary School" Feickert Park is roughly 4.3 acres in size. Located in the older part of Elk Grove California. It is a part of the Cosumnes Park & Recreation Department. I remember coming here over twenty years ago. My daughters daycare provider was just a few blocks away. I am surprised that no one has written a review on Feickert Park yet !This park offers the usual amenities such as Barbecues, Picnic Area, Picnic Tables, Play Ground, and something extra special "Horseshoe Equipment "something not found in many parks any more. A quiet park in a quiet community. This park deserves a solid " 3 Stars "
