Updated Review for Fats - Shoutout to Esther! We've always enjoyed our evenings at Fats, but this visit took things to another level--thanks to Esther! This was our first time sitting in front of a station where we could watch the magic happen, and she was truly an artist in action.Esther was working the hot appetizer station, and her speed and precision were nothing short of impressive. She moved at an incredible pace, yet every dish came out flawlessly--gorgeous, consistent, and absolutely delicious. There were no mistakes, no near misses--just pure skill and professionalism. The wontons, egg rolls, steamed dumplings, and coconut shrimp were some of the best we've ever had.Beyond her talent, Esther was also engaging, happy, and clearly took pride in her work. It's rare to see someone handle such a demanding station with both efficiency and enthusiasm, and she made the experience even more enjoyable. To management: Esther is a standout. Her skill, speed, and attention to detail make a huge impact on the guest experience, and she deserves recognition. To anyone considering a visit--if you get the chance, sit near the appetizer station and watch her work. You won't just get an amazing meal; you'll get a front-row seat to someone who truly elevates Fats.I wasn't planning to update my review, but Esther made such an impression that I couldn't just check in--I had to share. Looking forward to coming back soon!

I had an amazing dinner at Fat's Asia Bistro on Eureka Road. When I visited for the first time, I was struck by how cozy andinviting. The interior is warm lighting, stylish decor, and a layout that makes it feel both intimate and lively at the same time. They have palm trees inside looks really real though. The customer service was top-notch as always. Thestaff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being annoying. It's refreshing to dine somewhere special like fats. Now, let's talk about the food, absolutely delicious! We tried the honey walnut Chicken, orange chicken , and the Imperial rice, and every dish was packed with flavor. The portions were generous, andeverything tasted fresh andwell-prepared. It is definitely most delicious Asian food I've ever tried. What surprised me most was thepricing-for the quality and portion sizes, it's a great deal compared to other places in the area. Overall, this place is one of a kind. Greatambiance, excellent service, andincredible food at reasonable prices. I have been coming back for about 13 years.

It's not often that we're in the area so when we're driving back from Tahoe, why not stop for a quick bite. The dim sum basket was perfect as it included shrimp dumplings, pork shu mei, and chicken pot stickers. The honey walnut prawns is a staple no matter where we go and it was lightly fried and glazed perfectly with honey sauce, walnuts, and sesame seeds. The Mongolian Beef was definitely spicy, a little too spicy for us to enjoy without needing to tank water. I enjoyed the ahi poke, it was served decoratively, but I emptied it onto my plate so I could get a bite of each item in the glass. The Dan Dan noodles were our least favorite. It's Lo mein noodles with ground chicken and sauce, it wasn't very flavorful for us. The server was nice and attentive, the place is spacious and it wasn't very busy or noisy during their lunch hours on a Tuesday. It's a good Asian fusion place to try if you haven't been there.

Other 3 star reviews were spot on IMO - the food is mediocre at best and waaay overpriced. It's more like an Asian Fusion, similar to PF Chang's, thats been quite Americanized and lost the food's authentic originality. Taste buds were not dancing, safe to say. Then what exactly are you paying for? Why priced so high? You're paying for prime time location and environment. Not prime time food. This place is very classy, gorgeous internal designs, spacious seating, plenty of parking in its shared Plaza with business offices, fantastic customer service, ambiance is perfect for social or professional gatherings and dates (family friendly, sure, but definitely not bringing our restless toddlers if there's ever a next time), and modest attire (not a shorts and flip flops kind of spot).Highlighted items on their menu are their signature go to's, so we tried 2 of these - Bulgogi pork lo mein (mild spicy) and vegetable fried rice with shrimp. Mediocre, nothing special, and mostly on the bland side. Tried their Canton fish and lumpia - again, mediocre. I've had much better (and much cheaper) versions of both at hole in the wall fast food spots and at home! Both my wife and I were fine with the food, but nothing that stood out as a "Mmmm yummy!" kind of feeling.Don't get me wrong, this place is VERY nice for some Asian grub! Give it a shot and don't let the 3 star reviews deter you from trying it out. May even prefer the flavors more on the subtle side and you'll also enjoy their gorgeous layout. (Felt like I was at the Tiki Bar in Disneyland.) Just not our cup of tea and honestly we prefer to stay away from "fusion" restaurants precisely for the above reasons. Likely won't be back, but you never know!

Very Pan Asian fancy cuisine. Didn't like the pepper steak or Dan Dan noodles too much. The spice needed to be hotter and their chili oil was a bit salty. The garlic noodles, crab ragoons, and honey walnut shrimp were really good. I like that all the food wasn't oily. The banana cream pie and crème brûlée were surprise hits. We were the only Asian people in the restaurant . I guess that says something too. But overall it wasn't bad. I probably won't go back by choice but if I had to pick a place for a "nice" dinner in Roseville, this could be a choice.

Came here to have lunch with the fam, and nothing's really changed over the years...except for pricing across the board around 20%. Luckily our go to items were still available and flavorful (young shew fried rice, honey walnut chicken, flank steak stir fry and garlic noodles w/chicken, which was lacking garlic flavor tho). Unfortunately, as the prices went up, the portions shrank. Smaller serving plate made the items look plentiful. That's pretty much what rising food/ingredients costs will do to you. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance throughout the restaurant was relaxing in a somewhat intimate setting. No sign of any Christmas decorations yet, but I'm sure they'll be up in a couple of weeks. If you've got time and want to enjoy a great lunch, and I'm sure dinner, come on down to Fat's in Roseville...also one in Folsom as well.

Getting caught up on my reviews and Fats is a place we enjoy coming to. Love that their Happy Hour goes on during the weekends when it's difficult to get everyone to meet before it ends. The food, drinks, and service has always been great. Love their garlic noodles and their dumplings are also a hit . I love their Har Gow. Also Love their outdoor patio when it gets too crowded inside. I don't know why we seem to forget to include Fats in our rotation but I highly recommend..

Has been a few decades since I have grabbed a bite here. Family lunch tgis time. The food is good with a big variety of options including some yummy starters. The coconut shrimp and shrimp dumplings were really good. I ordered the Ahi Poke that was quite filling and good. We all split a few slices of banana cream pie. Oh my! The best I have had.The service was good.

Went here on Christmas Eve, the place was fully reserved with a 3 hour wait time. HOWEVER, the bar was open seating and full menu! So we ate at the bar and it was a great experience! Had a few drinks and some great food! I always recommend the spicy garlic green beans! The lemon drops were fantastic! Had leftovers and they were delicious as well!
