Fast Stop Liquor & Food Store

A nice little neighborhood liquor store with much more than liquor on the shelves. Fast Stop Food & Liquor is clean, respectable and convenient - the three primary factors I'll look for in the type of store that in general carries the opposite reputation. I popped in for a couple snacks while in the area and was impressed by the selection. Guy behind the counter was friendly. I even saw some items I couldn't find anywhere else (this review written during the current Coronavirus shelter order). I even ended up buying a bunch of things I didn't come in for. Price is a factor, too, and I wouldn't come here first if you're looking for deals. As expected with a smaller store, top shelf liquor comes at (sometimes more) than top shelf prices. It's all offset by the fact that this is a convenience store above all else. The convenience of having so many grab and go goodies just blocks away totally justifies the price difference and also means supporting a local biz!

These people want your business. They sincerely greet me when I come in and sincerely thank me when I pay. They have a better selection, colder drinks and they wear a mask. Way better than River Park Market.

I have been a patron of this store for over a decade, and today will be my last visit. Since the new owners have taken over, the snacks and food are all expired. The clerk at the counter has run up my bottle water different amounts on 3 separate visits. How does a $1.69 small bottle water turn into $3.41? The clerk cited CRV and 50 cents for ice, which still didn't add up. Then he returned the 50 cents. I'll drive the extra 4 blocks for an honest business.

This was a convenient stop on my way to work. The last time I bought a bag a chips and two Starbucks drinks. I started drinking one but after a while I noticed the taste was off from the usual taste. I looked at the date and sure enough it was expired. I was annoyed with this but couldn't go back because i needed to start work. I decided to drink the second one I was saving for later on of my 12 hour night shift and go after. The next day on my way to do another 12 I stopped by with my expired drink and told the cashier I bought two and one was expired A MONTH AND A HALF. This is a dairy product FYI. The cashier said no problem and gave me a new one, not expired. I appreciated the simplicity, no hassle of them fixing my issue, and for that I gave a mid star review. Just note if you use debit card they charge an additional 50 cents. Lame.

Everything is always expired. The people who work here are always nice. But the guy who owns/or/runs the place is a douche, met him a couple times. He could care less people are shopping there. All the wine sits under the fluorescent lighting all day long, ruined.. They've been out if Jolly ranchers for 7 months. still ive never seen a 2liter of sprite an ive lived in the area for 6 years

The people who work here are SUPER nice. I pop in here regularly or odds and ends snacks, and the employees are really agreeable. Especially the ladies who work here. I have good luck with their scratchers here too :).

Quick & easy stop for liquor in my neighborhood. Also good for late night cravings. I wish they carried coconut water. Someone please tell me if they start..

Well stocked corner store! They always run a great free water and snacks station during Run To Feed The Hungry. Great management!

This store is within walking distance from my house. The past few times i've been here the customer service was super shitty. The young Arab guy behind the counter is always talking on his phone when I go up to the register. The guy is an idiot. and Obviously has no customer service skills. Put down your Goddamn phone for 10 seconds and help your customers.
