We really liked this market and what was being offered. Plenty of vendors for the location it was held at, nice to see all of the local growers sharing and showcasing their product we were able to purchase quail eggs during this visit. Reasonable pricing with the booths that we purchased from. There was also a soloist there playing his guitar and singing which was nice. Being that it is located in the parking lot of a main shopping center, traffic can become a little tricky .

We went to the local one in Elk Grove. It was different than the one downtown. This one is only farmer's stuff. Fruit and vegetables. No food to eat. Of course it is not as big as the one downtown. It has a lot of fresh fruit and veggies to purchase. I was disappointed in the price. Some of the stuff was more than purchasing it at the local grocery store. I know it's supposed to be fresher but I expect a deal at least a little. We got some apricots, cherries, and donut peaches. The cherries were so good and I guess worth the price. I have not eaten the other stuff yet. It's so close and accessible I am sure we ill hit the place up again.

I've been twice in the past two weeks, this one falls on Saturday mornings 8:00 AM-12:00 PM as opposed to the Sunday morning one in the old town Elk Grove plaza by the railroad tracks. Lots of parking. No dogs allowed.Mainly produce vendors, fruits and veggies. There are also booths for meat/fish, wine, oil, and dairy like fresh eggs, honey, and fresh-cut flower bouquets. Last visit picked up a pound of Bing cherries for $4/lb, Bok Choy, Green Beans $3/lb, Garlic bunches (green stems included), Yellow Peaches $2.50/lb, Apricots $2.50/lb, and some individual flowering plants on sale for $1 each (e.g. dahlias). That stall also had pepper plants, tomatoes, and even exotic ones like ZZ ($35) or the Snake Tongue, and also Bittermelon and guava plants too. The strawberries are in season but were still too pricey for me, at $4 a basket.I also found out that EBT/SNAP/CalFresh is accepted at this Farmers Market and a few others, some are year-round markets/stands, others seasonal. Central, Winn Park, Florin, Sutter, Country Club Plaza, Midtown, Natomas, and more, full list here: https://alchemistcdc.org/market-match/. How it works is you can get up to $10 Market Match for fruits and vegetables only (no dairy, nuts, oils, wine), which are color-coded as orange market dollars/vouchers. Any other money you take out from the card is color-coded blue which can be for anything at the market, not limited to produce. The Alchemist CDC booth is located at one end of the market, facing Red Robin burgers. Happy to support and shop local, healthy and direct-- which also goes to show how the Sacramento region is truly farm-to-table or farm-to-fork!

A yummy place to pick up fruits and veggies. Lots of parking available, it's in the Sprouts parking lot. There is a good variety of fruits from local farmers. Everyone is very pleasant. Wish there was a juice or coffee vendor and maybe some fresh baked goodies .

As you get older you start realizing that certain things are worth splurging on. Things like higher grade fuel for your vehicle, quality supplements that keep your body performing at an optimal level, premium skincare products, and foods that are fresh + nutritious. Usually my wife and I do our grocery shopping at Raley's and Sprouts. However, we started noticing that the quality of the produce has been different as of late (maybe because of the supply & staff shortages?). Therefore, we decided to give our local Saturday morning Farmer's Market a try. This Farmer's Market is a whole vibe (I believe that's what the young kids say). I've always been intrigued by folks that shop at Farmer's Markets. Maybe it's something that they're not putting in the food, that produces generally friendly patrons. We usually end up engaging in random conversation when we're browsing the various vendors. We usually stop at two specific vendors: Honest Fish Farms, and Heringer Estates Family Winery. Honest Fish Farms is our source for pasture raised meats. Until indulging in pasture raised meats, I was always thought it was a gimmick. However, I can confirm that pasture raised meat is the way to go! You can definitely taste the difference vs. store bought meat that is loaded with antibiotics and possible animal byproducts. Heringer Estates Family Winery is our favorite spot for their wine slushies. Their slushies, topped off with a little port (suggested by staff), is a deliciously refreshing treat on a hot summer day! I keep saying that I will buy some to share with guests, but I always end up keeping them to myself. If you're looking to do some people watching while investing in produce & meats (don't forget to get some wine too) that are healthier than your local supermarket's offerings, I highly recommend visiting this farmer's market!

No doubt it's very small as has been pointed out. It works for me because of that very fact. I find that the larger markets often have the same 10-12 items on heavy rotation under canopy after canopy. I use this for a quick stop to get tried and true items without wading through the masses at the larger markets. I have no need for the other draws like kettle corn, jewelry and whatever else happens to be set up. This market draws mostly the same vendors week after week. They are nearly all friendly and ready to engage in conversation about their offerings. It's the kind of market where I can get my produce needs met for the week and be on my way in under 30 minutes. I will continue to be a return customer to this year round market.

The perfect small farmers market for all the essentials! This farmers market is right by Sprouts and has 10+ vendors. It's great for the home cook and there is a lot of people in the morning. If you want a good pick of veggies, come early! There is no to-go food vendors but I suppose that makes everything faster. Vendors:-Asian Fruits and Veggies -Honey -Strawberry, blueberries, peaches, cherries when in season-Meat-Flowers

This is a convenient and clean farmers market very close to my home. It is very tiny compared to most of the farmer's markets in the area. Not many choices, but the area is very clean! They have very fewer sellers there on the weekend selling what I believe they grow on their farms. Much easy up set up in the middle of the parking lot with the fresh veggies and honey etc. Parking is very easy. So many open parking spaces available and right next to the farmers market. The area is very safe and very clean.

Lost of selection of fruits, and vegetables. You'll definitely need to bring cash, they also accept EBT credit based on one of the kiosks I saw.
