Express Gyro

My family went this past weekend to Express Gyro for the first time. The service was great. Very friendly and quick. The food was very tasty. Two of us had Gyros and they were great. The Greek Fries were also great. My daughter and wife had the Express Gyro Mediterranean Nachos with lamb and beef and the Express Loaded Bowl and both were very pleased. The meat was cooked just right and the Tzatziki sauce was great. The portions were generous. The atmosphere was nice and a great place to visit. John knew customers who came in and you could tell cared about the customers. I can't wait to go back.

Excellent and consistent service. Excellent and consistent food quality. Reasonably priced food. Gyros and dolmas are excellent. Business is clean and well organized in customer area. Highly recommend this Greek and Mediterranean restaurant.

Such a great local spot. The beef lamb Mediterranean nachos are my favorite. My kids love the gyros, wraps and loaded fries! Staff is always friendly and prompt.

Great customer service right when we walked in! We were promptly greeted and the cashier had a great attitude. He even brought out our meal to our table. Steady flow of customers. The ingredients were all fresh! Decor and music is on point! Would stop by again!

I've had this place 3 times; delivered, pick-up, and dine-in. All have been stellar. The freshness, quality, portions, and flavors are top-notch. Prices are great, relative to the size. The dining area is warm, with hints of Mykonos and Santorini, not to mention it's super clean too. The service is next level, you can really feel the love and pride the owner puts into his restaurant. Try the beef/lamb gyro with greek fries, you won't regret it!

It's "Express" Gyro so quality/taste is very similar to "Taco Express" but we don't have the significant price savings for this place. Ordered a Beef Lamb plate which prices $5 more than the Mediterranean place by my house... Only one Pita included, it was thick/chewy, the classic hummus kind of basic flavored. The meat looks/feels/tastes cheaper and constrained to one corner of the box. There is a lot of rice if you consider that as a ratio to your overall meal.

Lived in this area for 20+ years. THIS IS THE BEST FOOD EVERRRR. I will never stop going here

I ordered the Beef and Lamb plate with the spicy hummus and it was fantastic! The meat was cooked perfectly and the rice had a dash of seasoning which complemented the whole meal. The service was great as they got our food out at a reasonable time. The ambiance was casual and well kept. Will definitely come back. A+

6/16/2023: I posted my Express Gyro receipt; I had no choice but, ordering an inhaling session of a beef and lamb combination plate, one order of two garlic Hummus, and one mango Lassi to-go due to the fact, I had to have my Toyota 4-Runner's brand new tires' realigned and re-balanced-AGAIN--AUGH.Welp~That's the main reason for being so far away from my humble abode; there wasn't a Firestone Auto Care appointment available in Sacramento:Therefore, I might as well inhale a beef and lamb combination plate, one order of two garlic Hummus, and one mango Lassi while waiting for my Toyota 4-Runner's tires brand new tires' realigned and re-balanced.It was rather amusing inhaling my exotic cuisine meal at Firestone's waiting room; customers were literally staring at me while I was in the midst of my inhaling session, i.e., devouring every morsel on the to-go box~lol . . . I WAS FAMISHED.Still, my only complaint was the food wasn't piping hot--just lukewarm. The to-go meal shouldn't have been lukewarm especially, when Express Gyro is literally one-quarter of a block AWAY from Firestone, i.e., the reason for deducting one-star from Express Gyro's review.

I absolutely love this place! The beef & lamb wrap is incredibly filling, and the amount of food you get for the price is unbeatable. Definitely the best spot in Lincoln for Mediterranean food!
