Esmeralda's Cafe

Had some homies in town and they asked me to pick a brunch spot and if we couldn't find one we would do an old faithful. But I spotted this gem on Yelp.Service is warm and friendly, You seat yourself. I went with the blueberry pancakes, eggs & bacon. They checked on us often and also made sure we had refills for drinks. It was also explained to us they take a little time with orders cause everything is made in house and I must say it shows. Pancakes crispy on the edges and thick, fluffy & soft in the center, bacon crispy, Eggs scrambled just right. My friends also enjoyed their meals. All in all an enjoyable brunch for sure.I will be back to try more for sure and for the sign outside that says "fresh made cinnamon rolls" haha.

Great food and attentive service! We had a late breakfast on a weekday, so it was slow.I had coffee, veggie omelet with potatoes and biscuit. He had Esmeralda's turkey melt with fries. We split the Esmeralda's pancakes.WOW. The veggie omelet was amazing, full of broccoli, mushroom, onion, and yellow squash. The turkey melt had a perfectly jammy fried egg and was layered with turkey, grilled onion, mozzarella, avocado, tomato, and chipotle sauce. He devoured it. The fries were solid, everything was very fresh and came out piping hot. The Esmeralda's pancakes were beautiful and delicious, but definitely more if a dessert item. They came rolled and stuffed with Dulce de leche, and topped with whipped cream and a strawberry rosette.Coffee was hot, strong, and plentiful. Both dairy and nondairy options available.The space was immaculately clean and there were plenty of seating options. Our server was so kind and quick. We will definitely be back!

Food was awesome clean And orderlyWe were a large group (19) they only had 1 waitress so service was hit and miss and it was a wait to get orders taken and to the table. They had been informed that the group would be that large. Maybe a sick call? That being said would try again things happen. 5 stars for food 3 stars for service gir average of 4

So glad we stopped in! Our typical brunch spot had gotten overcrowded, so we wanted to try something new. Service was prompt and polite, I got the chicken fried steak and it was cooked perfectly. Big portions for what you pay. Pictures of the menu items up on the walls is a little odd, but probably helpful for some. Will definitely return!

My husband and I came to check out this new spot. Is Mexican American type of food. I'm not mad at it. Was the food delicious? Yes it was. Huevos rancheros was super good. It has chorizo and it had a lot of flavor. The sausage egg Benedict it was ok. The sausage didn't have a lot of flavor and the hollinadse it look like it was broken wasn't silkily and smooth like I order another place. Overall it was ok.The last was really nice and very welcoming and we came in she smile which is very refreshing. This place has a lot of room and well set. Do I recommend this place?Yes I do.

Me and my dad go to breakfast every Wednesday. The staff is amazing at making sure your coffee is full and your plates look good quiet and calm. Service is AMAZING

Let's go visit this new restaurant in Carmichael!!! Great food - we had the chorizo & eggs and a veggie omelet, both delicious!!! Fluffy eggs , fresh veggies, the chorizo had the right amount of spicy , and the coffee was good and strong ! I highly recommend coming here !!

Stopped in with my teenage son who wanted pancakes and I didn't lol. He ordered the banana pancakes and he said they were great. I ordered a sandwich with fries. The sandwich was good, but the fries were fabulous. I don't know what they do to them, but my son took one then tried to take the rest of mine so we ordered a side order to go. Plus an extra side of bacon because he loved that too. And the owners were so sweet, coming by to check on us and ask about the food. Will return with the rest of the family soon!

Delightful cafe. Excellent service, wonderful food.I just had the basic bacon, eggs, hash browns and toast breakfast, and it was wonderful. The bacon was crisp and hot (as were the hast browns), the scrambled eggs were delicious, and the toast was warm too. Looking forward to trying lunch.

Excellent service, food is very fresh, generous w the cheese!!! It was a long wait at the first place we tried so we cane to Esmerelda's and are SO happy we did. Not too loud, ambience is friendly, music was nice too.We'll definitely be back. I had the veggies omelet, bit also need to try their huevos rancheros and eggs benedict
