We have been going to Kindercare for years! Our first son was there for 10 years until he turned 12 and now our 1 year old is going here. I can tell you guys that everyone that works simply just loves children and wants the best for them. They even give updates throughout the day with daily photos! They also have so many cool events for the children that they pay for. We highly recommend Kindercare!

Our family absolutely loves Elk Grove Kindercare. Our oldest son is 4 years old and has been attending Elk Grove Kindercare since he was 10 months old. He started in their infant room and is currently in pre-k. Our youngest son (10 months old) just started in the infant room. The facility has always been clean, but since Covid began they have gone above and beyond to make sure our kids are safe. The cleaning and safety measures they have in place now are phenomenal! I would have to say my favorite part about Elk Grove Kindercare are the relationships our family has formed with the staff. It's extremely hard as a parent to have to leave your child for long periods of time. The staff at Elk Grove Kindercare have made leaving my boys a little less painful and I will always be grateful for them.

This place is amazing!! I'm a first time mom and work in education. My criteria for my sons daycare is high. This was my number one pick and I'm so happy my son was able to get off the waitlist and into the infant program. The staff is so nice and attentive. Angie's family and community engagement is outstanding. Even though my son is only 9 months they still incorporate a curriculum that helps his mental and physical development. I absolutely recommend this place.

This facility ,like most kindercare facilities are poor at supervision of the kids, the kids run around like wild chickens most of the day, if your looking for a more structured daycare ,this is not the place.....my child was kicked out because the teachers are obviously underqualified to handle a 3yr that has temper tantrums....I recieved almost daily incident reports on my child biting or hitting someone else, but when he came home with scratches or abrasions, they had no idea what happened...the staffing ratio to kids being supervised is not good, I dont care what the licensing permit...safety first....geeesh

I loooove this daycare! We've lived in multiple different states over the years. We have an older daughter as well so we've frequented a few daycares. This place is my absolute favorite :) I wasn't sure about the price tag initially but we get a bit of a discount being military. They also had some of the best hours for our crazy schedules and long commutes. So glad we gave it a shot! It's obvious where the money goes. Staff has less turnover and the kids always have activities and fun crafts. Our youngest went there for 4 years and would still be attending if they did transportation to track schools. She has a great group of friends that we still keep in touch with and did ballet with an outside teacher that they brought in. As a parent, it was so comforting that she enjoyed being there enough that she always wanted to show us things around the class when we came to pick her up...after being there longer than a 10 hour day. A complete 180 from the previous place...where you're already having mom guilt for the long days. We enjoyed them so much that we were initially still going there on the off-track months of the school year. However, ultimately she made friends at the new place and didn't want to keep switching up the routine. It's been about 7 months since we've been there and she still talks about her teachers and friends on a weekly basis. She even wanted to invite one of the teachers to her birthday party - super cute!EG Florin Kindercare: Thanks for being so awesome! We definitely appreciate you and loved our time there.

I highly recommend this Kindercare, if I could give it ten stars I would. My daughter has been attending since she was 12 months old and is now 4 years old. She loves going and has learned so much since starting at KinderCare. The Director, Angie, puts so much love and time into her center that it's really makes all the difference. The center is so clean, which to me is very important. I know that my child is not only safe and well taken care of when she goes to preschool, but she is loved by everyone. Anytime there has been an incident, it has been taken care of quickly and communication has been great. The updates throughout the day through the use of the mobile app have been amazing and give me major peace of mind. My daughter has fun with all the spirit weeks and special events that are planned by the staff. The center has done a fabulous job of implementing safe protocols due to covid that keep the safety of all the children and staff in mind. My daughter' teachers have been committed to her learning, growth and development since day one! Thank you KinderCare Elk Grove for all that you do for my child!

NOT ENROLLED HERE, yet! This review is based solely on phone interactions, email response time and meet and greet. I sent an email last week and received a call from Angie the very next day, she left a message and when I called she wasn't available but the person that answered the phone answered all of my questions and then some. Then today my mother in law went to take a tour of the facility and she was super impressed. She loved the classrooms, cleanliness and the staff. She immediately put my kids on their wait list, I then called back to make sure all the info she had left was correct and I spoke to Casey who went over the waitlist, how the classroom ratios would be and the age ranges for the children. Overall I'm really liking this place so far and praying my kids get a slot come September.

We toured the center and loved it. Everything is clean, staff seem super friendly. However, when it came to enrolling we have run into an issue. It has been 3 weeks since I informed both KinderCare and my child action subsidy coordinator that I chose this center to enroll my 9 month old and requested a start date of 4/15/24. My child action coordinator informed my current baby sitter that her last day would be 4/12/24 but I hadnt heard from KinderCare yet. With my requested start date approaching, I called on 4/8/24 and asked to speak with the director. I was told she wasnt available, so I left a message. They took my name, number, childs name, etc. and was promised a call back. Wednesday, 4/10/24, came around and I still have not received a phone call, so I called them again and was met with the same thing- director not available and i had to leave a message, they asked for my info AGAIN (wouldnt they already have my info from the first message i sent?!). On Thursday, I still had not received any call and at this point im worried... will i have care for my child starting Monday 4/15 or not?!?!?! This impacts my work schedule and potentially my current baby sitter so why cant my call/messages be returned and be given some answers at least?!?! I reached out to my child action coordinator and asked him the status of my certificate approval. He told me the certificate was approved and he had contacted KinderCare on 4/3/24 so what the heck is going on?!?!?! I called KinderCare for the third time and had to leave a message for the THIRD time because the director was "in a meeting". Meetings dont last forever so why couldn't I get a call back?! Is front desk staff not taking down my messages? Were my messages not even being taken down and/or relayed to the director? Are they reluctant to enroll my child because we are child action recipients? I understand if KinderCare needed more time to process my child action certificate and my requested start date could not be met... but at the very least COMMUNICATE THAT WITH ME, so I can figure out other child care arrangements. I really loved this daycare center but I am really frustrated with their lack of communication and now that I've left this wordy review, will my family and I be treated differently if we continue with enrollment? ...

such an awful school to place your child at. they don't care for anyone who has Behavioral issues. they want kids to sit down and listen all day with no interruptions, because you know 2-5 year olds can do that. they gave out my personal information on what i was paying to someone that was not on my sons enrollment packet and got into the daycare that has a coded door some how. (he knew a teacher) the director never resolved any issues or concerns i had. the teachers always screaming at kids and they never had enough staff in the classes rooms 1 teacher for over 12 kids is illegal. do not send your kid here.

I really wanted to enroll here because the reviews were so good and the website looks amazing, but I was ghosted for weeks until I went male Karen mode. By the time they were finally able to set up a simple tour with me I did not feel comfortable taking my child here. They will always look at my child as the spawn of a male Karen. The district leader Melanie was nice, but I'm sure she hates me because I met her after I went male Karen on her team. What happened was I set up an appointment online by calling in. Apparently the center you call into is not in California and they do not confirm anything with the location. This is one of 1500 centers so that is their excuse for having poor communication that was used multiple times. My advice is to get rid of the call center all together and hire a receptionist or something because the current strategy isn't working- yes it will cost a lot more money but it will be a much better service for everyone. I set up a virtual meeting 3 days in advanced. Instead of sending me the meeting link right away like a normal company they didn't do anything. I got concerned they forgot about me and I asked for the link via email, but I was assured I would be sent a link "right before" the meeting started. Unsurprisingly they didn't send me a link and the meeting came and went. I replied to the same email which got a response already asking what happened hoping to reschedule because you know, it's not a big deal and mistakes happen. Nothing. I was ghosted until I called in like 5 times and each time I was assured a new appointment would be set. Why do I have to put in so much effort to enroll my child in preschool? I honestly felt discriminated against, not due to my race, but something else. Maybe because I am a male or maybe because I am I person of color. I dont think this was the case, but I can't explain them refusing to reschedule after 3 emails and 5 phone calls. Finally I went full on Karen and said I thought they were being racist and Melanie came outta nowhere and finally tried to help me. Too late, the damage was done. I found another school and did two tours in less than a week. This school is probably decent, but they need to work on improving communication and not point the finger blaming each other. Enrollment team blamed this location and this location blamed the enrollment team. Melanie was the only one to say both the enrollment team and this site were in the same team and that they needed to improve communication. 3 stars instead of 1 because I don't think this is a bad school they just need to make sure they treat people well who before they get pissy. Little mistakes happen, try to reschedule right away instead of ignoring parents. Take ownership of your company don't push blame on to others. Also Melanie alone turned this review from a 1 star to 3 star review. I guess if you are a person of color don't hesitate to bring up the race card if they ignore you. They seem to really respond to that. Just kidding, maybe half. Don't contact the enrollment team online if you can. Ask to speak with someone in Elk Grove. To be clear I did not feel racial discrimination. It does sadden me I was completely ignored until I used the trigger Karen words so whoever was ignoring me could escalate the matter. Maybe the person who ignored me can answer why they finally did something when I brought up the race card.
