Dangggggit I really want to gate keep this restaurant but it is too good to keep a secret! Since we moved, this is our favorite Mexican spot! We love their Cali burritos and the salsas they make (especially the orange one) are fire! You know a place is good when they are constantly busy and have both to-go orders with patrons also eating in the restaurant. I am so picky with my Mexican food (and yes you can argue a Cali burrito isn't truly Mexican) but El Rincon's flavors are truly authentic. The burritos are massive, but also delicious. I can't wait to go back on the weekend mornings to grab some pozole or menudo. 10/10 would recommend!!!

This is a review for a to go order--- I ordered at the restaurant after a busy day at the river with my dog! This restaurant is located on T street. It's very small. I'm not going to lie I felt overwhelmed going in there to even order. The tables are very close together. They did have nice outside seating! I ordered a chicken California burrito! To order I just went to the window and placed my order. They have a huge thing of plastic up (probably from Covid) so it was rather hard to hear because of that. I sat outside while I waited for my burrito! It probably took 20 minutes, they were pretty busy! The burrito was good and had a lot of flavor. I also got a Mexican Coke which is my favorite! I would come back to eat in person next time. As long as it was outside- as the inside is very small and overwhelming!

El Rincon has the best burrito I've had in Sac so far! I've been looking for a really good Mexican restaurant for a while now and El Rincon is a winner! Their menu is simple and so delicious! My friend and I came here craving burritos and were not disappointed. I got the fajita veggie burrito. It was classic with rice, beans, guac, pico, fajita veggies, cheese and lettuce. The rice and beans were so flavorful and the guac was so good. The fajitas were cut a little thick for my liking but they were also seasoned well so I can't complain. Their salsa bar was also great! We went a little overboard and got everything to try (twice over) and it was worth it. The red salsa was my favorite. Service was great. And the place is small but clean and cozy. Parking is a little tricky with only two spots in the lot outside. Definitely check this place out! I'll be back for sure.

El Rincon!!My wife and I recently moved to the East Sac/ Midtown border area (technically it's East Sac but doesn't feel like East Sac lol). And being so close to El Rincon I've heard nothing but great things! This taqueria is walking distance from us. Moreover, this past weekend I was getting VERY tired of leftover turkey, stuffing, and all that Thanksgiving jazz so I decided to give El Rincon a try.El Rincon is located at the intersection of Alhambra and T St. Parking is extremely limited but there is a decent amount of street parking available that is surrounding the restaurant. There are both indoor and outdoor dining options, with not many patrons eating outside due to the cold (at least it was cold for Northern California, don't hate on me East Coast and Midwest 'Elite' friends!) However, in my opinion El Rincon reads more as a takeout place. Once inside I ordered a California burrito, meaning steak, French fries, sour cream, Pico de gallo, and guacamole in a tortilla. For a very reasonable "low teens" cost my order included chips and items from their salsa bar! I was extremely pleased as I can't stand taquerias that charge extra for chips and salsa! I grabbed two salsa "rojos" and one salda "verde," then waited outside for my order.A staff member brought out my burrito EXTREMELY quickly! First off- they didn't have to do that!! It was very nice of them to bring my order TO me considering I wasn't standing indoors. Secondly, even though El Rincon was pretty mobbed due to the lunch rush they got out my order FAST! Which was also great because your boy was starving (what else is new lol).I rushed home, took my first bite, and WOW... absolutely DELICIOUS!! I forgot to take pictures of my actual burrito because it was SO good! Not too greasy but incredibly flavorful! And their salsa... fantastic!! Writing this review has me salivating for more! Overall it was fun getting to try somewhere I'd never been before and that's so close to me. Portions are nice and I appreciated how they hustled to get my order out! (Sometimes that can be a bad thing, but in this case it wasn't!) I've read mixed reviews about El Rincon not being consistently good, but that was not my experience at all! I can't wait to go back and get another California burrito (or two... or three).

On this cold fall day, El Rincon Mexican Restaurant stepped up for a girl in need. (me)craving some tacos, I opened up my maps and saw that this lovely location had many good reviews. What I did not expect was the pure quality and magnitude of greatness emanating from this small restaurant. There is limited seating inside, but it wasn't crazy busy and all the seating outside was open. the workers were very kind and my food was brought out quick.I ordered two tacos de carnitas and two quesabirrias. I also ordered their horchata and TBH! it's kinda hard to find a good quality horchata nowadays.. sigh... BUT!! i enjoyed theirs a lot. It was a delightful drink. wonderfully made. pleasant surprise and great start to my meal.when I got into my car to eat these tacos... I looked at them and knew it was gonna be magical. Although they don't exactly have to-go containers, everything was packed nicely and was warm for me to enjoy in my car. The tacos de carnitas were delicious. I'm a little picky about my carnitas, but these were crispy and perfect. Now. when i looked and smelled the quesabirria, I knew my tummy had led me to the right place. Those two quesabirrias were heavenly. I have never enjoyed quesabirrias more. the consome was steaming hot, and was genuinely the most delicious consome i have ever had. these changed me. the neurons firing in my brain are indescribable. 10/10.i WILL be visiting again. te amo El Rincon. me cambiaste la vida. #blessup #holycannoli #vivamexico

We had a nice quick bite to eat at El Rincón. They cool their meat fresh and the flavor was good. It was nice to be greeted as soon as we walked in. They gave us time to decide what we wanted to order. We ordered a couple of tacos--street and super. The larger taco was made on flour tortilla and griddled. The flavor was very good! The street tacos were good. The tortillas are not handmade. It's a nice little place to get some fresh food. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We would be back!

I've had my fair share of Mexican food in LA and OC, and this place is by far the best Mexican food in the Sacramento region. It's a small establishment, but don't let that fool you. Their food is TOP notch.I ordered the Regular Burrito w Carne Asada. It has a generous amount of bean, filled w beans and rice. Perfect amount of food for such a decent price. They also have a sauce bar nearby as well too with salsa verde, pico, and onions, which 100% elevate the food. Love it so much. Your burrito also comes with a side of chips as well too. That was a nice touch.Parking is going to be a bit tough. You would most likely have to park on the nearby streets and walk on over. It's a 1hr parking limit nearby. There's also plenty of outdoor seating as well too. Will be 100% coming back. Glad to have found a solid Mexican food joint here in Sacramento.

El Rincon is located on the corner of T Street at the old Tako location. I think the building used to be an old gas station and it definitely feels like if you sneezed, it might blow away.Staff were super friendly, but the food took a bit longer than expected to come out considering we only ordered a bean burrito and a nachos supreme. The nachos were huge and came with lots of toppings - I chose ground beef for my meat and it was not too greasy.I like that their menu is on the smaller side for most Mexican restaurants so I didn't feel overwhelmed when trying to decide what to eat. They also offer a decent salsa bar (check out the pickled onions if you like spicy) and plenty of bottled drinks!I will definitely check them out again the next time we are in the area!

I had a very delicious super burrito with carne asada. It was not dry, had good flavor and was ready for pick up when they said it would be. Quick service! The salsa bar options provided were wonderful. Love the spicy salsa. . Small restaurant with outdoor dining. I would recommend this place again based on their burritos. Only thing I would change would be to get some chips for my order. They were not provided automatically.
